Satanism

This religion of course is much worse than Wicca or Witchcraft. It is silly really to be in that when I don't think Satan really cares about people. The tenants are off. It is mainly for them to be able to express their dark side. One of the girls wanted to go see the Church of Satan with me before and I thought what was the point? It gives witchcraft a bad name.

Satanism is the putting of one's own self before the well being of others. Godlyness is care and concern for your fellow man.

I realize that this religion is not based on Satan, but selfishness, which in my opinion, is just as bad.

Spiritual satanism is worshipping the devil, true satanism is basically "you are your own god, so please yourself". It's sad how many people misunderstand this religion, and even sadder how many people are vicious and blind in their hate of those who follow it. I thought being a good person was accepting others as long as they are good people too. Religion has nothing to do with whether or not a person is a good person. I'd rather spend my time with satanists than racist christian bigots.

I know quite a few people who practice Satanism... And none of them worship the devil. In reality they live life as if they are their own God.

Any and every person who follows this has no excuse before God, and must not have experienced God in his truest form. They are blind and typically evil through and through. There is no worse religion than this.

There are a few distinctive things about Satanism I enjoy, one of these is its "no nonsense" approach to life. I really like the modern founder's (Anton LaVey) showmanship when choosing the name "Satanism" when LaVeyen Satanist's point of focus is not a character know as Satan. Still they put on quite a show.
