Her words keep falling on deaf ears. Who can take this woman seriously?

I am going to miss her, if McCain doesn't get in, because her speeches, where entertaining, in the what is she going to say next, kind of way.

Not ready to be pres or vice,just because someone has a big mouth,it doesn't mean they are intelligent.She shows her ignorance every time her lips move.

Polarizing enough for this unkind joke I heard about her the other day... "What's the difference between Sarah Palin's mouth and her vagina? The stuff that comes out of her vagina is only occasionally retarded." So nice to see that we still have style here in the United States...

I don't think Palin is too polarizing but I wish she would take me shopping, as it seems most of my pant pockets have holes in them, and I seem to be losing change (seriously). $150,000 on clothes-geesh.

Palin is indeed polarizing, to say the least.  A natural for the "us v them," "with us or against us" mindset of GOP operatives who make a central strategy of leveraging fear, intolerance and insecurity across cultures, economic circumstances, and religious orientation among other fronts. In Brian Williams' interview segment this evening, Palin described Sen. Obama as dangerous, naive and ill-prepared. Are you kidding me?  She is entirely tone deaf to the reflexive nature of her accusations.

Every time the Democrats such as yourself attack Palin's qualifications when she's running as a tie-breaker in the Senate are more harming to the 1 term Senator running for the White House. Update Had Palin had not given birth to a baby boy with down sydrome.  Had Palin's daughter not kept her baby.  Democrats would welcome Palin with open arms.  If you kill the innocent and save the convicted.  Then the Democrats will love you forever.  Update:  For woman who is only seeking to be a tie-breaker in the Senate.  She sure has you all up in a Dander - Fitman  Update Obama won't visit the troops at a hospital without a camera crew. Bullwinkle Barbie.  Despite all the deranged talk about her being attractive, if she were the last woman on Earth, any self-respecting hetero man would turn gay.  Immediately.  In addition to the fact that she's a totally repulsive excuse for a human being, she is deliberately assuming the role of ardent spokeswoman for the "us vs. them" mentality of the crappy political party she's representing.  I'm glad that she reads newspapers and magazines to keep abreast of what's happening in the world and in this country.  It's reassuring that she could not name a single Supreme Court decision except Roe v. Wade.  It's great that she's already been found guilty of political corruption before Election Day.  It's wonderful that she affirmed that Obama "pals around with terrorists," which means the other members of the Annenberg board, like the President of the University of Illinois, the publisher of the Chicago Tribune and two Republican members of that body do the same thing.  It's so wholesom... Palin is off the charts polarizing at this point. Her role in the McCain campaign has been what I said it would be all along, to motivate the conservative base. McCain's calculation was three fold essentially: as a woman she would appeal to suburban soccer moms and the Hillary voters, her profile as a "reformer" meshed well with McCain's image, and her socially conservative politics would immediately energize the conservative base. She has indeed managed to energize the base, but not much else. Unfortunately the base only consists of about 30% of the electorate this time around. Registration numbers for the Republican party is down this year. That's why earlier in this campaign I suggested that McCain should make an outside the box pick like Joe Lieberman, who would have brought with him conservative Democrats and independents that are somewhat wary of Obama. Very polarizing, as are all three of the other candidates for President and VP.  Unfortunately for the McCain campaign, she is proving to be as negatively polarizing as positively polarizing, alienating independents as much or more as she motivates the Republican base.I said at the time of her selection that she was a high risk, potential high reward pick.  She has not lived up to that potential, but she's lived up to every bit of the risk.  The sad thing for Republicans is that there are many eminently qualified and skillful women holding elected office under the GOP brand.Unfortunately, Sarah Palin is neither, and her selection has raised far more problems for McCain than it has solved.

I think she's getting a bad rap, but the fact is that her politics are simply too extreme for the political mainstream and McCain should never have put her into this position. The selection has turned many moderates and even some conservatives against McCain. It's not her fault really, as she's used to running for office in Alaska, which is a quirky place. But she is a polarizing figure, more so now due to her associations with a secessionist movement which play well in Alaska, but really nowhere else.

Every politician who has strong views and the courage to express them publicly is polarizing.  Palin certainly qualifies.  For Palin to ascend to the top of this list and Obama and/orBiden to be considerably lower shows the liberal lean of RIA and the denial on the part of those left leaning partisans.  Heaven help this country if McCain somehow wins.  The hatred is way over the top, and your US press is leading the pom-pom pumping.

Yes, she's strikingly polarizing. She's wildly popular among information challenged voters and those who prioritize culture war stuff above national security, economy, etc.  Not so much among anybody else - in fact a recent NBC poll says this: "In addition, for the first time, more voters have a negative opinion of her than a positive one. In the survey, 47 percent view her negatively, versus 38 percent who see her in a positive light."That’s a striking shift since McCain chose Palin as his running mate in early September, when she held a 47 to 27 percent positive rating."Now, Palin’s qualifications to be president rank as voters’ top concern about McCain’s candidacy - ahead of continuing President Bush’s policies, enacting economic policies that only benefit the rich and keeping too high of a troop presence in Iraq"

I find it quite amusing that liberals want to attack Palin on the qualifications issue? Why is this not an issue with Obama. Seems to me the argument over qualifications only weakens your savior Obama in this campaign. Funny that you fail to discuss the qualification or lack there-of of thier candidate. It is consistent with liberals that they are incapable of stating any of Obama's accomplishments, only what they feel he will do. No one wants to discuss Obama's connection to terrorists, ACORN, or felons. You merely brush it as-- Oh that was years ago. Just remember when you vote the person you elect represents you, do you want to be represented by someone who thinks felons and terrorists are ok? Sarah Palin and Alaska.Interesting how some people don’t seem to get it.  They can make the stupid jokes, dumb comments, SNL like skits yet still have NO clue about Alaska.  Hell half the people in the lower 49 had no clue where Alaska was on a map other then a little block next to Mexico.  And then when you have a Governor whom becomes a instant celebrity and have people like Sullivan of the daily kos go after her and accuse Gov. I think she is the best thing that could have happened to the Republican ticket.  What a breath of fresh air to have someone in the spotlight with real values and real morals- the same ones that this great country were founded on.  She doesn't apologize for her beliefs and she is a good role model to all of us.  It's just too bad that the leftist idiots don't realize that their immoral lives and acceptance of everything WRONG is what is really causing the fall of this once great nation.

Definitely- probably the most polarizing figure in the political spectrum right now. McCain will get tens of thousands  of votes that he might have lost otherwise, and the left hates her with a passion.

I think the ultimate story of her candidacy will be not her qualifications for the job or the way she got treated, but the degree to which her inclusion on the ticket turned out to be a distraction from the debate on the the issues.  That said, I think the outcome of the election was going to be a Democrat in the Whitehouse regardless.

Divides people across many lines including (and especially) formal education. . .that's what you get for being the prime example of Affirmative Action in quite some time. . .
