I have used Sam Smith Landscaping for several years and have received nothing but exceptional customer service and results. Sam always answers his phone and his workers are professional, efficient and talented. I have also been very satisfied with Sam's pricing and he always stands behind his work 100%. I am a customer for life and Mr. Smith's company warrants only my highest recommendations.

Sam Smith was prompt and courteous when he showed up at our appointment. His quote was reasonable for the work to be done, which included yard cleanup, one time trimming/mowing/edging, pinestraw (70 bales), mulch (3+ cubic yards), and winter flowers. He and his helper accomplished every item on my list and more in about 6 hours. I am very pleased with how the yard looks now and would recommend Sam Smith Landscape in the future.

Sam and his employees were extremely professional, flexible, and efficient! I called him to remove a fallen tree limb, and he provided the best quote (saved me over $400), and completed the job on the scheduled date. I would definitely use this company again if needed in the future! Thank you, Sam!

If I were able to give a negative review, I just might do that. I moved out of state and when my original landscaper flaked out on me I called Sam Smith. My neighbors used his services and I remembered seeing his truck in my neighborhood. The original contact I had with him was wonderful. I called in a bind and asked if he could mow, edge, trim my shrubs, etc. He said yes, for $100. I thought that seemed reasonable enough. He explained that he could mow the lawn 2x a month for $90/month. Ok, I thought. I asked him to send me the invoice/receipt for his services. He again said ok, not a problem. That was August 22nd...I sent him NUMEROUS texts & calls. If he responds, which is seldom, he always claims he will or has sent it to me. I need the invoices to file with my relo company to be reimbursed the extra money I am paying to run two homes. Called in for a quote. Made me wait a few days. Never returned my call. When I called back to ask why he said they are busy, i'm out of their service area (even though my zip code is listed on their website), and then asked me if my house is small. Extremely rude and bad customer service. Little did he know I needed bi monthly yard service, new sod in the front and back, and a new landscape design and patio. He missed out on a big sale. Thanks for judging Sam. This company is the worst.

Sam and his crew did a wonderful job cleaning the fall leaves from my yard and my roof. I have many old oak trees in my yard, which I love until the leaves drop in the fall. This year I have not had time to rake leaves, not even once. Sam cleaned my yard beautifully as well as extra bonus, trimmed my bushes and cut back my knock out roses. He was complete in less than 3 hours... it would have taken me and my children weeks to finish. I highly recommend Sam Smith Landscaping and I will be using them in the future! Karen Dean

I was looking for a reliable lawn service for my grandmothers yard because I live in Texas. Sam was very reliable, had quick service, very friendly, and did a fantastic job. We are so happy with everything and will recommend his company to anybody. Thank you Sam!!!

Sam Smith was the worst contractor I’ve ever dealt with. Gave me a good estimate because he said he was having a baby and needed the work. Two weeks into the project he told me he forgot to add the rental equipment and it would be about 1200.00. I had already given him 50% of the original total. When the stone was delivered, he didn’t have any money to pay for it because “he had to pay his helpers”, so I had to pay for that if I wanted the delivery. Then when I got another invoice it was 2500.00 more and he had cut back on the stone to be used in the project making it smaller then what was agreed upon. He had taken me to Stone Forest and showed me a pond, which he said he had built for a trade out, and I hired him liking what I saw. He had no idea on how to build a pond. Some examples are: He charge me 800.00 for a protection liner and tried to use Landscaping cloth. Brought in temporary help who cut the liner too short and now pond is not as deep as it should be. I called Sam smith on a Saturday, he was there by the following Monday. I was very impressed by his prompt service. Only to be railroaded by the terrible job that he provided. I requested his service because my yard needed to be scalp, in preparation for spring. He did not bag any of the clippings, he made an huge mess on my driveway, which had to be pressure washed to remove tire tracks and mud, only some parts of the yard was scalp the rest looked like hedidn't even cut the lawn. Then he try blowing the clippings out of theyard with a blower after I ask why wasn't he bagging the clippings, which blew everywhere, including on my sidings, window screens, and also all over my neighbors house and porch. I got so upset that immediately after he left I started cutting my own lawn. Which I maybe should of done before being stuck with a $100 bill for a hack job, I have no problem paying for quality service but for the service that was provided I felt completely robbed. What a Fantastic transformation. We now have a yard where we can entertain and enjoy our time outside. Sam Smith Landscape Company was such a HUGE help to me! I called on behalf of my grandparents all the way from Texas. My grandmother's former lawn care company stopped showing up and my grandfather's health doesn't allow him to do the up keep anymore. Sam took my call off business hours and got a time set-up for my grandparents yard. It was such a relief to know my grandmother didn't have to worry about her lawn care. Thank you so so much!

Sam Smith Landscaping converted some left over building materials from my basement contruction into a nice set of brick stairs that also serves as a small retaning wall in what was a part of an embankment that was slowly washing away. I would highly recommend this company in the Woodstock area.

I have truly enjoyed watching the transformation of my yard into something that we can enjoy, it was not much to look at before but now it is my little oasis of relaxation and I truly am impressed. Patrick
