Salon Marc Harris

I followed Jensy Padilla to Salon Marc Harris and I love Marc Harris' layout and atmosphere which is very spacious and relaxing. Jensy does an amazing job with my blond highlights and with cutting hair and he always makes me laugh. When he is finished with my hair, i always am very happy with the results and I leave feeling like a million bucks. I did try another Salon between following Jensy to Marc Harris and my blond highlights came out awful. I am so happy that I stayed with Jensy at Marc Harris

I've tried a lot of differnt spas in Boston over the years, and Shannon Conry at Marc Harris on Broad Street delivers the very best facial in the city. I followed her to Marc Harris from another location on Newbury Street, and although I was first leary of the new location (a longer, less pretty trip from Back Bay), and it is worth the trip every time. Shannon takes a personal interest in her clients, and makes the appointment into the experience you want it to be. Each facial is truly a refuge for the skin and mind! Shannon uses terrific products and is incredibly knowledgable about them - she talks you through everythign she is using each time. An overall great experience, and my skin continues to love it!

I am not new to the spa scene at all. For business and pleasure, I travel alot and am always going to new spas. Some of my favorites are in NYC, LA, and actually Alberta, Canada (who knew?). Unfortunately, it was hard to come across an excellent facial in Boston. I felt alot of the esthetician lacked expertise (i.e. knowing the ingredients of products, using the wrong type of treatment on my skin, etc), and were not passionate about their work. About three years ago, I met Anne Cecile, and had the best facial ever! She was well-trained in France, and now she is always traveling to conferences to keep up with the latest news in skincare. I get compliments on my skin and how flawless it is all the time!! I see her every 4 - 6 weeks. My skin is very sensitive.. and I have yet to be disappointed with any of the treatments that she uses. She is the person to see if you want a fresh glow to your face... it has definitely help me meet a guy or two :)

I came to Marc Harris after having several unfriendly encounters with a few spas on Newbury Street. Not only is the staff friendly but you feel instantly relaxed once you are brought in. You are always seen on time which is important given that I work during the day and have strict lunch hours. The services are great and resonably priced compared to other salons/spas in the area as well. I would highly recommend!

You definitely "feel the love". Not like some Newbury St Spas where they think they're doing you a favor. Hands down, Bea gives the best facial in Boston. Paul remembers all his clients and is genuinely happy to greet them. He is never too busy to stop and say hello.

I visited Marc Harris for the first time after seeing that they were going to be participating in spa week. From the minute I walked in the door I was treated like a princess. The gentleman at the front desk took my jacket,offered me a tantilizing assortment of herbal elixers. The spa treatment was amazing all around! I booked my next facial right after!!! I love the rhonda allison skin care line that is offered!

I went to Salon Marc Harris after reading the great reviews online. I needed a touch up of my highlights a new cut. The receptionist paired me up with Steven Doherty, one of the senior stylists. It was an awesome experience to finally get my hair done by somebody who is an expert!!! It was the fastest appointment (less than 3 hours, when other Newbury salons take longer than 3 hours), I got great conversation, a wonderful head massage during my shampoo, and an AMAZING color and cut. Everybody I know just loves it..and so do I!! I wish I would have found him sooner!

I'm that person who's been to almost every spa in Boston in search for the perfect facial and my search finally ended after discovering Shannon at Marc Harris in the Financial District. I have been seeing Shannon regularly for facials and have noticed a total change in my skin! She has an abundance of knowledge when it comes to targeting /treating my specific skin care needs and has provided me with all the tools to keep my skin looking its best in between my facials. I'm absolutely obsessed with the very affordable Rhonda Allison skin care line and couldn't imagine using anything else (I've used them all too)...there's many different RA products you can choose from to target your each and every skin care need. I use the Brightening line to treat my hyperpigmentation issues and have noticed a remarkable difference. So the salon is in the middle of nowhere. I had to trek down here after I kept seeing ads in the Improper Bostonian and Stuff at Night. I have a lot of friends who have worked in the salon industry over the years and they all had great things to say about the owner and how he trains his stylists so I made an impromptu stop in and got one of the best haircuts (if not the best) of my entire life. My stylists name was Christine. I went in not really knowing what I wanted so she talked to me about what I didn?t want and what hadn?t worked in the past. Then she made a few suggestions. Talked to me about my color and within a few hours, I looked like a new more fabulous me. Needless to say, I love love love her. She?s a genius. I?m def. sending all my friends (and even taking time to review her).

Excellent service, excellent results! I went to the Spa last month, and had a facial peel with Beatrice. She was so knowledgeable and so in tune to what condition my skin was in and mixed the best ingredients for my face. A peel takes a few days for the 'reveal' and come the weekend, I was glowing! I highly recommend the Spa at Salon Marc Harris in the Financial District.

I have been getting my hair done at Marc Harris for years, and I was delighted when I learned that they introduced a day spa at their Broad Street location. My stylist recommended getting one of their signiture facials, and I decided to treat myself to see what the new spa was all about. Shannon, the beautician who gave me a pumpkin parfait facial, was extremenly knowledgable and provided me with skincare tips that have kept my skin glowing in between facials. Thanks to the spa at Marc Harris, my skin has never looked better! I have never had a facial that has given me such noticable results! I highly recommend this spa to anyone who is looking for results after a facial.

About three years ago I chopped off all of my hair and have been growing it back ever since. At times it has been a nightmare, but every time I go to Christine at Marc Harris (she was also at the salon when it was Maksou), she cuts my hair into a cute, trendy haircut no matter the length or stage it was at. My hair is now down past my shoulders (finally) and she still does wonders with the dry cutting technique. Another great thing about Christine is that she knows my personality and fits my haircut to my personality. I like dramatic and she can do dramatic for me, but she also knows how to tone it down for those who are more conservative. I highly recommend Christine at Salon Marc Harris!

I was introduced to Salon Marc Harris from a friend and I can't thank her enough!!! I am a customer for life. I am not a big fan of change so switching my hair stylist was a big step for me. (I had the same stylist for 6 years). I never had a "dry cut" before and now I can NEVER go back. Best haircut of my life and they keep getting better. Jenna is my stylist and as she gets to know me (and my hair) my cuts are that much better! I have never walked out of there feeling unhappy. The staff is really nice and professional. Prices are reasonable. If you are thinking about where to get a haircut, go to Marc Harris and ask for Jenna. You won't be disappointed.

My experience at this salon has been fantastic. Even as my hair grows out, it keeps its style and I sometimes forget its time to go back for a trim! I have had the dry cut there from Jenna, and I love it. I don't even have to tell her what I want - she just knows! My life long search for the perfect hairdresser has ended.

I got my hair cut and colored by Jenna at the Marc Harris Salon. She was the BEST! The dry hair cut is awesome and she did the best color job ive ever had! Now, this is coming from someone who works on Newbury Street and has been to just about every salon in the area! I would strongly recommend Jenna to anyone! The prices are very reasonable too. An all around great experience. Jenna has me as a customer for life!

Well I have never been to the hair salon but I have been to the day spa on Broad Street. It is boston's best kept secret! I have had several facials there and a couple of peels and they are amazing. The spa staff is very friendly. The waiting room and showers are clean. The facial I had was given by a lady with magic hands. Her name is Shannon and I highly recommend her!! Relax and Enjoy!!
