Mary Toney is the best!! My daughter and I have been going to her since we moved here 2 years ago and we can't imagine going anywhere else. Mary knows what will work best with our hair, face and coloring. Her salon keeps up with all the lastest trends, techniques and styles. Everyone is very friendly and professional. We also go to Nancy Z. for our waxing needs and she is fabulous! We highly recommend this salon!

As a former hair sytlist, I'm quite picky about who I let touch my hair. Not only is Nicole Romano a great stylist, she has a great personality and is very professional! Youcan tell by looking at her own unique rocking style she will always give you top notch service and provide the best results!

Nicole is very intuitive and knows what style fits you. She styles everyone differently and really gets to know you. She is an amazing hairstylist and an amazing person! I look forward to my haircut, not only to get my hair looking great, but also to spend time with her,,,

I have had my hair done by Jose for the past 10 years and I am always pleased with my hair! He does an amazing job with colors and cuts! I have lived out of the country for a couple of years but always (and only) had my hair done by Jose whenever I would be in town! Salon D'Orsay is also very nice & classy! The staff is also great and very accomodating!

Having been a stylist myself, I would say that I'm probably a nightmare of a client, I practically look at EVERY STRAND of hair when she's done, to make sure it's PERFECT. and she ALWAYS IS:) Grazyna is AMAZINGLY patient with me though:) I LOVE LOVE LOVE what she has done with my hair in the last couple of years. I ALWAYS get compliments. She is sooooo fashion forward...but classy!! (This last style, she somehow manage to give me full sexy hair, and I have fine, pencil straight hair!) I think I have sent all my friends (and their hubbies) to her. and they ALL love her!!! (My friend with curly hair can't stop raving about her either! She did some Keratin treatment on her...and it supposedly work some sort of magic. I think her exact words are..."it's not even frizzy in this FL weather!") She just have such great vision...yet she makes sure she understands what you want and don't want...and create something beautiful! I love her!!!

I have been going to Nicole for about 2 years now and I REFUSE to let anyone else touch my hair. I have never met a hair stylist who is as talented and patient as she is. She always gives me her honest opinion about ideas I come up with for my hair. She never rushes to do anyone's hair even when they over book her. I trust her completely with my hair and don't even question what she does. I will never go to another hair stylist.

Nicole Romano is great. I am thinning on top, and she makes me look beautiful. Seriously. BTW, she even colors my hair, and it looks so freakin good!

I followed Nicole Romano to this salon about three years ago when the previous salon she worked for closed. I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair! She knows the perfect color for me, and the perfect cuts and styles. she also gives a great blow out! Aside from her awesomeness, the salon is spotless and the staff is amazingly friendly. All the stylists smile at me and say hello even though I am not their client. When Nicole becomes famous, I may not be able to follow her this time, but I sure will stay a loyal client of Salon D'orsay!!

Nicole is so talented with her coloring techniques that my hair always looks natural. She has cut and colored my hair now for 5 years and I have NEVER had a bad hair cut!!! YOU ROCK NICOLE!!!

Okay, I usually don't post these kinds of reviews but after my experience at Salon d'Orsay I must make an exception. I got my hair cut, highlighted and styled by the best stylist ever - Nicole. Since I have no sense of what style looks best for me, I brought a picture of a sample hairstyle that I thought might work me. I showed Nicole the picture and also asked her to customize according to my hair texture and the shape of my face. She was super friendly and knew right away what style she was going to and how she was going to color my hair. The result was amazing. Better than the picture I brought in and better than I had ever expected. Another plus was the fact that I wasn't in the salon for 5 hours like at other salons I have visited. I like a good haircut but I don't want to spend half my day sitting in a salon. There are not enough positive things I can say about Nicole. She is awesome, super talented and one of the main reasons I will be making salon d'Orsay my regular salon.

I have been reading your reviews, and want to say just how grateful I am for your kindness and encouragement. What is the most gratifying is that our clients are experiencing the level of service we truly do want to provide. Each time I hire a new employee, my big statement is the same for all: "I am far more concerned about our clients' comfort than I am yours". I can tell you that each member of our staff feels the same, and the atmosphere you have commented on would not be possible without their contribution. As for the high level of talent, that is no accident! I have owned 2 prior salons and have worked with most of the professionals in Mandarin and San Jose, so I know those who are on top of their game. I have followed and recommended Ed for more than 15 years for myself

I searched high and low for a great salon and finally found it at Salon D'Orsay. I have super long hair, which is often a challenge for stylists, but Ed has been absolutely wonderful. He has me hooked on highlights and always manages to fit me in with both of our busy schedules. I consider Ed my "good luck charm," since every time I've been up for a new job or promotion, if I have my hair done just before, I get the position. If I don't see Ed the week before, kiss it goodbye! Thanks so much, Ed and everyone, for all you do!

I am new to Jacksonville and was lucky enough to walk in to this salon. The customer service was fantastic, and Ed is top notch................Not only did he give me exactly what I was looking for in a cut, but his highlights are probably the best I have ever had. Its really nice to find the right place on the first try!!!!!!!! Great brow brow tint from Nanci as well......

I have been working here for 2 and a half years and there is a reason I have been here so long. I love coming to work every single morning. I love knowing that my friends will drive 30 minutes from Riverside and Ortega to get the services we provide from a wonderful group of staff. This place is like a family and every time we hire someone new, they are acclimated so quickly. Mary Toney, the owner, is one of the best people I have ever worked for. I have had at least one service performed by every single staff member and I have always been very impressed. I have had many different color experiences and it is always exciting to get a nice change. Call any time to get in for a consultation or any service we provide. After relocating back to Jacksonville from Atlanta, I was lucky enough to find Mary Toney again to take care of me. She has been waving her magic wand for me over the last 11 years.....her entire staff is up to date on the latest cuts and color. I now drive almost an hour to Salon D' Orsay because I'm worth it.

My experience at Salon D' Orsay was really wonderful. I was feeling "frumpy" and having a bad hair year.....Mary (Toney) not only did wonders for my hair, she did wonders for my attitude. She is professional, creative, punctual, knowledgeable, and a great conversationalist as well :) My new hairstyle made me feel "current" and younger, and the color was phenomenal. The staff at Salon D' Orsay was very friendly. The receptionist greeted me with a smile, directed me to a chair in the waiting area, offered me something to drink, and let Mary know that I was waiting. While Mary was applying color to my hair, another stylist asked if I needed anything. I felt very welcome and comfortable while I was there. I would highly recommend this salon.

I have followed Mary Toney through several salons for years now (15?) and am so glad she is now the owner of Salon D'Orsay. Her skill and artistry in color and cut is just great; she is so gifted in finding the right color and style for your skin tone and face. Every once in a while she'll organize a color training session for stylists from other salons, they'll all get together and learn new skills, and give color consultations to a room full of clients. The level of cooperation and non-competitive willingness to learn really boosts everyone's level, and the customer is the winner! Over the years Mary has also become a friend, and always gives me her best. Every time I get my hair done I get complements, not only from my friends, but from complete strangers; and I'm always happy to recommend the Salon!

Nicole started doing my hair about 6 months ago. I met her in tears because another stylist had ruined my color 2 weeks before my wedding. Nicole sat me down gave me a glass of wine and we discussed my options. She spent a lot of time talking to me and then she took over. My blonde hair started off orange and green. When she was finished my color was beautiful. In all of my wedding photos my color looked so amazing. I will always go to Nicole.

Nicole is truly the only stylist who can tame my hair. She knows exactly how to cut it and what colors compliment me when I need a change. My hair dresser, Nicole Evans, is good at creating colors that work for your complexion and she works with you to come up with a hair style that is complimentary to your face. I've enjoyed all my visits and am looking forward to a facial. I like that they offer a full variety of procedures such as facials, messages, make-up artists, they even have a room you can just relax in while you wait, it even says "quiet please" Love it!!!!!

Nicole has been cutting my hair for over two years. I am pleased that she is now at Salon D'Orsay. The place is always very neat and clean, and the front desk is extremely friendly. I end up switching appointments quite often, and they are always very accommodating. As a guy it is very hard for me to find a salon where I don't feel completely out of place, but Nicole has always treated me like a good friend. The main reason I continue to go to Nicole is that she knows how to give me a great hair cut that looks best on me. It's very hard to find a person who will truly style to you, and not just give the same cut to everyone. I have recommended Nicole in the past, and will continue to do so.

Nicole Evans has been doing my hair for years and she just moved to this salon.. Nicole is the best colorist I have ever had. Salon D'orsay is so wonderful.. By far the best experience I've had in a while, Mary, the owner, came over to me and made me feel very welcome. The young lady at the desk, I think her name is Nealy was very knowledgeable about the services they have and she helped me with the products. The salon is so unique.. I love all the different rooms. You get your color done in the color room and then the your cut and style is in another room with a warm feeling. I highly recomend for all to follow Nicole to the new salon and experience the way amazing color looks and feels!!!

When I first visited Salon D'Orsay during a vacation trip, I thought it was a funky place which I wish they had in my hometown. I purchased a bottle of Jane Iredale Liquid Minerals but then later realized it was expired and tried calling back to get a new product. It took a full wk for them to get back to me which was upsetting but then Rosa called me and cleared the mix-up. Apparently they had another customer with a similar name who they kept trying to get in touch with regarding my issue. Long and short of it is that they were very accomodating and I was able to mail what I purchased back in and they will send me a new product.

What a pleasant experience!! Great place to go for all services!!! Everyone in the slaon makes you feel comfortable and welcome. They go out of their way to accomodate your needs. Everyone looks professional and acts professional. There are many services to chose from. The hair stylist are the best. If they beieve someone in the salon can achieve what you want better they have no hard feelings if you change stylist and they are always exchanging ideas with each other. I have may hair colored and styled on a regular basis and also have facials. I can definitely see a diference in my skin. Highly recommend!!!!!

The salon has a new owner, and is really fantastic! I think the owner's name is Mary and she made a point of introducing herself to me and made sure I was comfortable during each service. Really nice! I had a day of beauty including a highlight, haircut and blowdry, manicure and pedicure and a fabulous facial! I was treated like a queen and loved the different people who handled the services. While I was having my hair done, I watched the different stylists and was amazed at the hairstyles they were doing. Everybody looked great. I highly recommend this salon if you are looking for very professional services. I am now a regular customer and have recommended Salon d'Orsay to all of my friends.
