Best steaks I've ever eaten. Worth the price. I've been to one in San Fran, Hawaii, Phoenix and all of them were good. Everything is ala cart so it can be expensive but it's worth it.

I have never eaten a meal at this location and been disappointed. The standard of quality that Ruth's Chris executes with every meal is superb. When my husband and I decide to treat ourselves to magical meal this is the place to visit. Some of our favorites from the menu include Appetizer's:The succulent barbecue shrimp which is great when paired with the complimentary loaf of bread that is served at every table, you just dip it in the extra sauce of the shrimp. We also love the lobster bisque, so sweet, silky and rich with tender pieces of lobster mixed in. Dinner: All cuts of Beef are phenomenal. My favorite is the New York strip. Cooked to order and cooked to perfection. Don't needed to add much to the butter, salt & pepper topping. On our recent visit they served a special of Kobe beef topped with Jumbo barbecue shrimp. Delicious. They are an industry leader for steaks. Dessert: What trip would be complete without their flawless Creme Brulee. Creamy, sweet and loaded with vanilla g... Read more

I only wish I got to go hear more often than just special occasions. The steak melts in your mouth, the sides are perfect, the atmosphere is romantic, and the service is proffesional. This is my choice for a special occasion event!

This place is the best for service and food, plus a great mood throughout entire dining area. All of the staff are polite and happy to see you. The food is to DIE for. I've never had such a good steak. Me and my boyfriend had a fantastic time and I will be returning for more!!!

i reall dont like upsclae chain restaurnats...but this place is a classic for steak. i love the steaks that come out on a sizzling butter plate and the top of the steak is still bubbling from the intense heat of their ovens. they scorch them at a 1200 degree burning oven. the sides are all fresh and excellent. they new york strip is the best cut. between a filet but not as fatty as a ribeye. vanilla soy sour cream cheese cake is to die for. I believe adam is our regular server here. great, curteous, formal service

Been to many of Ruth's.. Miami, Atlanta, Dallas, San Diego, Las Vegas, and now that I live in Arizona.. I drive 120 miles to satisfy my steak appetite in Phoenix at either the Scottsdale or Camelback locations. Every time we go.. it is truly an enjoyable eating experience. We have NEVER had to complain on anything we ordered. For those reviewers that complain about the price.. there is always Denny's.. and if you bring along the children.. well.. this is not a McDonalds. Come with your partner.. and sit back and enjoy a wonderful meal served by a staff of professional people. You will relish every bite... I PROMISE!!

The readers who are giving Ruth's Chris poor reviews are obviously accustomed to eating at Denny's. I've traveled all over the world and experienced a wide range of dining experiences, and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse (the Camelback Road location) is still, for my money, the absolute best in the world. Their steaks are unsurpassed and the sides are first-rate. The sides are very, very large, and if you split them, you'll find that you get fine value for your dollar. The service is impeccable. The staff who have waited on me have always catered to my every whim. I will always be a faithful Ruth's Chris devotee. They are the best!

The steaks at Ruth's Chris are delicious. The steaks arrive on a hot sizzling plate. It's almost as if the steaks are covered in butter. It's the best steak that I've ever had, and I'm from Nebraska. The meat capital of the world.

The Scottsdale restaurant served one of the worst meals I've had. Ordered lobster. Service was exceedngly slow and when the meal arrived, the lobsters were over cooked, dry and rubbery. The manager was summoned and appeared 15 minutes later. After pointedly inspecting our clothing and watches he said he was sorry we didn't "like" the lobster and offered a free desert but would not replace our order with something edible. When I asked for a cup of coffee it came ice cold -- I mean ICE COLD. The waiter admitted that he probably grabbed an old pot from earlier in the afternoon -- I think they just wanted us to leave. Another 10 minutes to get a replacement cup. Without the free desert, we paid the $185 bill (no tip). Fortunately, all of the Pointe restaurants are excellent and have a better wine selection.

I don't know what all the hype is for this restaurant. I live in Nebraska and go to Phoenix at least 3 times a year to visit my Mother. We decided to go out for a nice dinner and chose Ruth's because we had "heard" it was an awesome steakhouse. After approximately $150.00 for 4 people, I realized we would have been just as happy going to an Outback or Sirloin Sizzler and paid half the price. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

Way over rated for the price. The food is great, but not great enough to justify thier prices.

I was very disappointed with this restaurant because it had come highly recommended not only for it's steak but the service was supposed to be unmatched. That was not the case with my visit, which is too bad because the steak was probably the best I've ever had. The service was so bad and when my date complained about it nothing was done. It was horrible service and I'll never go back.

I recently went to Ruth's Chris for the first time, after listening to all the hype from friends and family who had already been there. The service and atmosphere (we sat outside on a terrific night) were really great. But I have to say, I've had a better steak (ordered the filet steak) elsewhere for a lot less money. I will go back only to find out whether it was a fluke or not.

I just wanted other people to know how OVERRATED! this restaurant is! the meals are incomplete (SIDES are EXTRA)-- and the prices are outrageous! IF it weren't for the cheesecake that was served mistakenly to us--It would have not been a decent visit..WILL NEVER SUGGEST TO ANYONE looking for a good steak!

The steaks were out of this world and I do believe I will never come across any finer steaks. It was absolutely heavenly. Loved every last bite. Sure our server could have been better but we all have our bad days. It was pricey but a nice treat and I would go back there in a heart beat. Ruth's Chris does have the best steaks hands down.

My wife and I have eaten at more than 20 Ruth's Chris restaurants throughout the US. The location in Phoenix on Camelback is among our favorites. (NOTE: We won't go ever go back to the Ruths in Scottsdale - pedestrian decor, snotty wait-staff, mediocre steaks). At the Camelback location all was perfect in three visits (ask for a table in the back, windowless dining room - we found it classy and intimate). The steaks were delicious - flavorful, and cooked as we asked, as were the sides (spinach au grantin, salads, asparagus). The cost was insane, particularly for the sides and for any form of liquor or desserts. On the other hand, the wait staff were easily among the best we've had at any Ruths, and the combination of decor, food, and service made up for the cost. Enjoy yourself at a prime example of a quality Ruths Chris.

Ok, the steak was great....but the service was the worst we ever had. The waitress was more interested in discussing the night she had with her boyfriend with a co-worker (we both heard the graphic details). She never asked how our food was or if she could bring us anything else. When you spend $200 on a meal for two, you think quality service comes with it...but not at Ruth's...save some money..go to another place.

The steaks are good, but highly overpriced. Everything else is ala carte--even a potato!! I have had steaks that are just as good for half the price. In other words, the place is highly overrated.

Definitely a sure thing if you are looking for a good steak. Ruth's Chris has the finest beef I have ever tasted. I personally do not go for all the side dishes. When I go to Ruth's it is for the beef. The restaurant in Scottsdale is beautiful and I love the second floor views. This is a favorite of mine and I cannot see anyone dining here and being disappointed.

I think the food is exceptional, though definitely not the best around. The service is great, but the ambience is not fantastic. Prime quality beef is a much abused grade, as I think it is slightly here.

Settle down folks. Ruth's Chris the most advertised but no the best steak in town. All of you who voted it the best are obvious sheep that follow what other people say. Sorry but that is the truth.

There are good steaks and there are great steaks, at Ruth's Chris, every steak is great. The steaks taste great, are tender and are served the way a steak should be served. The salads and sides are also by far the best selection to go with the main course of any steakhouse I've ever seen.

I ate at Ruth's Chris last night, and I loved every bite of it. I have eaten there many times before and I do believe that there isn't a better place to eat out on a date or business meeting or for a family dinner. I have been to many top notch steak houses around the U.S. and there isn't one that compares to Ruth's Chris. The steak is absolutely fantastic and the potatoes are scrumptious and filling. Ruth's Chris is the very best you can get and you should expect to pay a little extra for the best. We were very well taken care of and checked on by 3 or 4 people. Every one there was very sincere with everything they said and did. By far Ruth's Chris is the top on the list. 150%

I have only been to Ruth's Chris once - and once was enough for me. I thought the portions were stingy - you had to pay for each morsel separately - and the prices were high. I will not return.

This place is a joke. If I am paying $50 for a piece of beef it had damn well better come with a potato. The steak was over-cooked, the service was snotty and absolutely nothing for children to eat. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

After being told for years that this was the ultimate steak, I was very dissappointed in the quality of the food and the pricing was unreasonable. A dinner for four for over $500.00. I have had much better steaks at the outback steakhouse for less than $110.00. both cases included one drink, wine and dessert. This was a total ripoff. the atmosphere was crowded and noisy.

I expected much more for the money. Service is good but ambience was like a strip shopping center. Food was very good, but please stop, it is not the greatest thing in the world. Veggies need help very under cooked...

Prime beef melts in your mouth! So do White Castle burgers! At $25 & up per Entree (al a carte) this jip joint should at least include a dinner show. I found it to be the most boring place in town at nearly the highest cost per person. Next time, I will go to Disneyland, it is cheaper and a lot more fun.

There is none better than ruths. Mortons, flemings, etc. not even close. The steaks melt in your mouth, you can eat EVERY bite, and the quality is ALWAYS on. I have eaten here many times and never once had a single problem.

A "steak" worthy of the most discriminating vampire! Ha ha, sorry I'm too wrapped up in the Halloween season! This restaurant is the absolute best place on this earth for a tempting, savory and delectible offering from our faithful bovine! The decor is elegant yet inviting. The personnel is friendly and sincere. And the ambiance is both formal and relaxing! A series of hard to mesh ingredients that culminate in the supreme dining atmosephere! If you haven't, you should!!!

Ruth's Chris although quite good is not the best Steakhouse in the Phoenix area. The Grill Restaurant at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess is by far the best Steakhouse not only in Phoenix area but in all of Arizona. They are the only restaurant with USDA Prime Dry-Aged beef. Each meal comes with sides included. These sides are not just steamed veggies and bland potatoes, they include such goodies as lobster truffle mashers or mascarpone spinach. I would rate Ruth's Chris second to the Grill. I don't know why they top their steaks with butter when USDA Prime steaks are great with out the added fat of butter.

Considering the fact that an animal had to give up it's life in order for me to enjoy this meal I consider the meal a thing to be much appreciated. When you order from Ruth's Chris you know that you are indeed going to enjoy the entire evening of dining. Exceptional quality and attention to detail make this dining experience one to remember.
