If I could recommend one subtitled movie to watch it would be this one. Visually fast paced, the characters likeable, The plot unique and interesting. It deals with serious subjects, decisions, fate, butterfly effect type stuff. I would advise everyone to turn off the computer and rent or buy this dvd. You won't regret it.

Fast paced, ponding soundtrack, and terrific camera work. A very enjoyable film. You might be slightly winded by the end though. See it....as soon as possible.

This is seriously one of the coolest moves I have ever seen. I was hooked from the very beginning, and the entire film is just fast paced (with a few slowed down parts, which are still great). While watching it I was just amazed at all the different camera techniques being used. This film is about the decisions we make and how those decisions move our life into another direction. The slowed down parts were conversations between Lola and her boyfriend Manni, discussing love and death, and they both have very good perspectives on love and death. Very interesting. Very cool. I highly recommend.

Different. Kinda like an MTV video, but with a good story, picturing 3 different versions and outcomes. Brisk, suspenseful, and stirring with the techno soundtrack. The subtitles didn't distract at all, and a credit to German films, which are usually a great cure for insomnia. This one kept you on the edge of your seat.

This is a pretty cool movie about desperation and the "what ifs". It's very fast-paced, pretty fun to watch; the animation and the still-shot series mix well with the mood of the film. The pounding techno beat definately raises the intensity. Fun to watch, if you don't mind subtitles.

German films tend to be about as much fun as a tax audit. This one is good. . .a film that doesn't run in linear time. . .something that the morons in Hollywood wouldn't dream of let alone film. One of the more original films I've seen in the past three years. Movie buffs and film students will probably make sure this film becomes a cult hit. It's exciting, clever, sexy, and has good music.

German Punk girl Lola has 20 minutes to raise 100,000 Marks and save her boyfriend from carrying out a bank robbery.A heart-pounding,vibrant techno-beat entertainment that's full of invention(director Tykwer includes animation and a range of eye-catching visuals, while taking the viewer on further circuits to reveal how things might turn out differently.)Perhaps not the deepest meditation on the importance of fate, but for an 80 minute adrenalin rush,it's well worth the trip.

Set to a pounding techno beat, Run Lola Run is a fast moving, sub-titled thriller that explores how our destinies are shaped by small decisions and events. While there is nothing groundbreaking about this theme (see Sliding Doors, Groundhog Day, etc.), what makes the movie interesting is the intensity of Franka Potente as a girlfriend desperate to come up with 100,000 Marks to save the life of her boyfriend. Director Tom Tykwer uses several innovative film making techniques such as mixing in animated sequences, and using snapshots to summarize bit characters' lives in a matter of seconds, that fit in nicely with the themes and pace of the movie. Much of the movie feels like a music video, and there is minimal acting / dialogue - however, something about Run Lola Run just works. I recommend it.

This was one of the most imagineative movies I have ever seen. The storyline and plot were very exciting and kept me interested for the whole movie.I liked the fact that you could see how life could be affected so much just by making a decision one way or the other no matter how small that decision may seem. The acting and cast was one of the best i have ever seen. If you haven't seen Run Lola Run, rent it buy it, steal it. Just see it and you wont be dissapointed.

"Run Lola Run" is a fast moving train ride set in with great dance music. I enjoyed this movie and nearly wanted to join in with the running. I have is movie in my movie collection. This is for people who dislike reading subtitles of any foreign movie. Watch a movie of a foreign country, it doesn't matter where (Japan, China, South Africa, Vietnam.)and see how much any good foreign movie like "RUN LOLA RUN" can be. Don't mind the subtitles, because in the great words of CHAIRMAN YI-YI, reading liberates the mind. If haven't seen "RUN LOLA RUN" see it.

Absolutely fantastic. I studied Media at college and developed a taste for foreign films and I had read the critics reviews and it was outstanding. So I went to the cinema and watched. It totally grabbed my attention due to the camerawork and style. The part I love best is where she runs past particular people and you see snapshots of what happen to them in the future and it changes with every senario that happens to Lola. I now have the film on DVD and I highly recommend it.

Honestly I enjoyed this movie very much. It was different. Usually people get mad when they have to read subtitles but it didnt bother me. It showed four different scenes of how things could happen and what did happen. When i saw the movie on the shelf it didn't look to interesting but despite the cover it was a movie full of fast pace suspense that had you on the end of your seat waiting to see what was next and twists that will leave you confused.

A style of movie you've never seen before. Run Lola Run is a German movie as twisted and crazy as it can be. The story of Lola and one dude, dying and retrying, defying the laws of nature and reacting similar situations keep you glued to the screen. Not to be missed!

A fast paced movie. It reminds me of Groundhog Day with Bill Murray, always repeating itself until things are done right. The only drawback is the movie is in German with English subtitles.

Great movie with no real drawbacks. Even the subtitles weren't a problem. I was surprised by this movie in that it was good.

I gave this movie a good rating because it deals with the out conscious world. In the real world, we can't go back and change our life but this movie lets us see how one little step can effect your life. It's the best foreign film I've watched so far.

I thought this movie was great. It was really different. The music was really good. There isn't much dialogue but the visual aspect of the movie makes the story and since it has subtitles, it helps. This movie shows the what if. Like when you have to do something, don't you always wonder, 'what if?'. Well, this movie takes 3 possible senarios and shows you what happens. It is fascinating. I loved it.

I would describe this movie as a hip, fast-paced, MTV-esque, German rendition of the movie "Groundhog's Day" ... In place of a rather ho-hum Bill Murray, the heroine of this movie is an actress with bright red hair and incredible energy. It is her energy and motivation, in fact, that kept me intrigued throughout the entire movie. And though parts of the film are repetitive (as they should be), Run Lola Run is a brilliant and outstanding piece of cinematic art. Along with the movie Sliding Doors, I would recommend Run Lola Run ...especially to those who are interested in the concept of "what could have happened?"...

The repetition of that cartoon sequence didn't ruin the movie but it sure didn't add much to it. I recommend this movie to anyone who is interested in original cinematic techniques (i.e. the fast-forward snapshots of people's futures, the cartoon part, etc.).

one of the most original movies to come around in along time. It drives home how bankrupt Hollywood is when it comes to originality and creativity.

Run Lola Run is fun to watch but you should do so with a rewind button ready - several clips are flashes of scenes in a row that go so fast you are meant only to get the gist of the events. The fantasy is original and the film techniques mostly support the overall mood. I didn't especially like the cartoon sequences interspersed (about 3 total) in the movie, but they weren't horrible.
