I am happy to say that I found "The Best" place to dine in Ahwatukee! Not only is the atmosphere charming, the food is outstanding and the service made us feel as though they really were glad that we came. To have the whole combination nowadays is not easy to find. I will be back often and will be proud to take family when they come in from out of town.

I believe Ruffino's is the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten in. The atmosphere is very elegant but at the same time very comfortable. The service is wonderful and the servers are very knowledgable, infact the server we had has been working at Ruffino's for 14 years and you could tell he was a true professional. The entrees we had were wonderful, you could tell the Chef really cares about great food! The veal Ruffino with brandy tarragon cream sauce was wonderful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

We have been dining here since 1994 and have referred many people based on the service and food. At our last visit, and I do mean last, we were greeted by blaring country music when we opened the door. After being seated by a host that didn't greet us, it took 25 minutes to get our menus. It took another 20 before a waiter took our drink order which came in about 10 minutes. We had yet to be asked for our food order. We each ordered a salad and a pasta dish, duck ravioli and spaghetti and meatballs. In the past the duck ravioli were tender, homemade pasta pillows filled with a delicious, hearty filling. The spaghetti and meatballs always tasted like the sauce had simmered for hours. It was evident when our pasta dishes arrived (after another 25 minutes, okay if homemade) that something had drastically changed. The spaghetti was spongy noodles topped with a raw tomato sauce, bright red and soupy. The meatballs were pale and tasteless. But the biggest disappointment was the ra... Read more

Experience, Service and Quality food. Authentic Italian food, menu is large variety and the staff is friendly, upbeat, outgoing. What a pleasant and wonderful place to dine, have cocktails, conversation with some of the nicest people in town. Lunches are great too. You won't be disappointed.

I have been frequenting Ruffino's since 1991 and it has never failed to deliver. The Mussel and shrimp cocktail appetizers are phenomenal. As for the main course the fresh fish is always great, along with the Oso Bucco, the canelloni, and the Seafood Ruffino pasta dish. Service is always top notch along with the price.

My husband and I were delighted to find such a gem tucked away in an unassuming place. The care and attention to our needs was wonderful. And the food was absolutely delicious. We'll definitely be back again!

Wonderful place with exceptional personal service. The staff is on a kiss and hug basis with all the regulars and give %110. Food sometimes seems like it takes forever so be prepared to relax and enjoy your company but it is well worth the wait!!!

My wife and I are here once or twice a month. The food is great and the service is warm and fri9endly. I have found no downside to this place. I've tried everything from the seafood to the veal and have always found it a winner.
