Ruby Tuesday is an okay place to eat. They've totally redecorated all of them, but the ambiance feels a bit cold. I like my chain restaurants to have stuff on their walls :) Anyway, I have to give Ruby Tuesday at least 3 stars because of unlimited french fries w/their sandwiches, which are okay.

The local Ruby's remodeled the dining area a while back. They finally took down the junk - bicycles, posters, etc. that was hung on the walls. This seemed to be a mainstay of decorating in the 90s and early 2000s. The menu items are ok but my wife and I will usually go for the salad bar during the summer when we don't feel like cooking.

It's a sit-down chain that specializes in burgers. I've only been there once, but you can find fast food places that serve burgers that are just as good, and certainly a lot cheaper.

I worked there years ago. I wouldn't eat that stuff if I was paid to. It's all frozen pre made crap. The staff was always just bitchy and the management there was just horrible. I didn't have a good experience there.

At least in this neck o' the woods, the Ruby Tuesday restaurants are clean and the service is very good. Their salad bar is very good as are the appetizers; but the entrees are mediocre and over-priced.

It was my first time-I had dined at one in Lexington, KY on my birthday about two years back and I remember the experience. The first thing I'll say are the prices, just WAY too expensive, and though I was in a group dining, I did wait a little longer than usual. A positive is that they do have some health conscious menu options and they were welcoming. I did enjoy the best salad there and desert there. The background noise was all right and I did not have much problems with the waiters telling me what they know, even though the chefs were slow to cook my food. Overall, it was an OK experience, but I may not want to dine there again because there are other restaurants that have almost the same selections with lower prices.

Awful.  The food is overpriced and not good.  The staff is horribly lazy and can be flat out rude.  I've only had bad experiences with Ruby Tuesdays.  At on in Hampton, VA, the bartender spit in a friend's drink, with all of us watching.  I have no idea why he would even do it, we did nothing that would make him want to do that anyway.  You could see the spit in the drink.  The manager argued with us about it, but we finally got the drinks off the bill and canceled our food order.  They need better staff and a totally new menu.

I don't know why y'alls Ruby Tuesdays are bad. Here in Richmond, Virginia, the food is great, the salad bar is very good for the price you pay.   They're not terribly expensive on anything really, I usually get some form of a burger there, and its always good.

I haven't been to Ruby Tuesday's in years, but went today for lunch with the family. This restaurant was in a newly developed, upscale area, so it seemed a bit nicer than other Ruby Tuesday's. The place was clean with a decent ambience for a mid level chain. They had a pretty solid collection of beers for a chain restaurant, and I ordered one of my favorites...Abita Turbo Dog. I was impressed they carried that and some other craft beers. I had a Bison burger which appeared well prepared and delicious. The food at the salad bar looked fresh and my family each appeared to enjoy their meals. The server wasn't great but wasn't bad either. Probably just inexperienced or undertrained. Overall it was a good experience.

We never tasted any food there because they refused to let us split an entree between my wife & I because it had salad bar. My wife cannot medically eat salad so there would not have been a problem and I even told them they could bring me a bowl of salad and we'd do it that way but they refused. I even spoke to the manager. I will never go there to eat again because everything includes salad bar and so I can't take my wife there! Beautiful place, not nice people, guess they are not an American restaurant!

The Ruby Tuesdays I went to: 2304 Murfressboro Pike Nashville, TN 37217 This is my 3rd attempt to purchase a Triple Prime hamburger. Every time I go they are out of food. I've complained to the manager and to their corp office several times in the last couple of months and never heard anything back. This location is always out of food.

This restaurant sucks! I cooked there i would not eat there if you paid me. No flame Broiling here. Everything is cooked on the same dirty flattop w/ grease. Nothing is ever really "clean." Beer is always flat they never clean out the lines. The management is incompetent and bumbling there is never ever any communication, i don't know how they stay in buisness. This is the case in southern pa i don't know about elsewhere.

I have eaten at the Terre Haute, Indiana and Owensboro Kentucky locations. Tripe prime burger is greasy and gross. the burger was greasy to begin with, then they had this butter stuff all over the bun. It made me sick at my stomach. I like to stick with soup and salad bar. Its what they do best.

I have eaten there eight times over the years, best thing is the varied, colorful, fresh, and interesting salad bar, which you can get added to a meal, nominal charge.  Other than that, I can't thing of anything outstanding.

I used to be good...what happened? I just ate there a few weeks ago, and I was blown away at how mediocre it was!!! I had a chicken burger and a salad... I was sick ALL night!!! My husband had a bacon-cheddar burger and HE was sick all night! My 2 year old, who eats everything, wouldn't touch it. Smart choice!! I will never eat there again.

Best thing about these guys is that they have a salad bar and it is good! The service is ok and the food is alright too, but the menu is not so great as I don't think their are that many exceptional choices.

This place is based in Tennessee so there are a kazillion of them around and only one knows how to hire decent help. The food is ok, only a few items I like on the menue and the salad bar is good but the service is horrible. Out of all those kazillion stores around Knoxville only the Oak Ridge store is worth going to.

I was very disappointed on Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, when i stopped by to eat at Ruby Tuesday's with family. They asked me to wait 20 minutes, when there was plenty of room available. We left and went to Piccadilly, and walked in and ate with no waiting. srd

Another places that practices discriminatory hiring. Usually you'll see only white preps working there, or minorities that fit that mold. The food is pretty much the same as the rest of these clone restaurants, but I feel their hiring practices are disturbing. Famous Dave's is an excellent restaurant that hires fairly, and I actually get great, friendly service. I wish a lot of the restaurants of this sort would stop the cliqueish hiring.

Recently visited Ruby Tuesdays and for the last time I might add. I was denied the right to order a sandwich only without being forced to pay for fries too. It is apprehensible that customers are forced to pay for food they do not want or order. It is called stealing.

I work at ruby tuesdays, and I would NEVER EVER eat there. I only give it one star because it won't let me give none. Aside from the working conditions being questionable the food is disgusting, comes frozen, premade and nothing is ever cooked fresh. Its a poor version of TGIFriday's, which is no fine dinning experience in and of itself!

The Ruby Tuesday's I've been to have been fair to middlin'. The steaks have been pretty good (surprisingly), consistently. Salad bar is good. Prices aren't bad. Definitely better than Applebee's. I think that Longhorn is better by far.

One of the more low-grade fern bars (indistinguishable chain restaurants--think Applebee's, Chili's, etc. They always seem to have ferns growing everywhere.) No healthy choices offered--Bennigans, for example, marks it's low-cal dishes with a little symbol on the menu. I ordered a mushroom burger at RT's, thinking I'd get a meat patty with a mushroom topping. Nope...they give me a gigantic mutant mushroom cap on a bun! They ended up taking the sandwich back and bringing something else--which was quite nice of them. But really, I can't recommend this place. Who would even think of having a mushroom cap burger on their menu to start with? Does anyone even eat those? Several years later, I ordered a vegetable platter and experienced, once again, RT's love affair with the mutant mushroom...there were several big burned ones on my plate, which I carefully avoided.

Like many slow food, sit down dining chains, this one is drab, boring and very slow. The inside of the structure is dark, drab and lifeless with very few windows to be found. Also, you have to wait 10 minutes to be served and another 10 to get your food! (Compare that to the typical 2 minutes from order to serving of coolicious fast food!) As with all sit down chains, the prices are insane. But, at least, the chicken fingers and french fries are passable (but, of course, can't compare to the masterful chicken that is Chick-Fil-A!).

I work for Ruby's and I really like the food that we serve. In defense, service is completely different from food quality. There are some servers I work with that I would gag if they were waiting on me. I like the food although there are some itmes I would never eat, and I truly enjoy working for this company. It really is "a great place to eat, a great place to work and a great investment"

I absolutely love the salad bar--I haven't yet found a place that tops that salad bar (if you do know of one, let me know). Prices are fair, selection is pretty good (I usually just go for the soup & salad, though, just because I know I'll end up gorging myself at the salad bar so I won't have room for anything else). The people who work there are great (at least at the one I frequent; the other three locations I've been to have been fairly nice, too). Overall, good dining experience.

We tried Ruby's years ago and swore not to go again. This year, we took a chance, and they have improved soooo much. We go there at least once a month, sometimes more often.
