im pretty disappointed in royals. ive skated 4 pairs of them and the first two pairs served me great, but as i started progressing the trucks seemed to become weaker and weaker. the 3rd pair i got they actually snapped right in the middle of the axle. i figured it was maybe because i had them for a while. so i brought the 4th pair, a little over a month into riding them, the baseplate cracked all the through on both sides of the kingpin. the durability of these trucks is definately not the best, but i have absolutly no issue with grinding with them. they will scratch up, but what truck wont??? 3 out of 5 stars. great truck for early skaters

I have had a pair of royals for a long time. I believe they are the just the "raw" ones, but in the base of them are red, which looks cool. They squeak sometimes but they have done a lot for me in these years I have been skateboarding.

Royal trucks are only okay if not bad. They were the first trucks ive ever ridden. they are very heavy and squeak a lot when you ride. they didn't snap or anything though. i would recommend thunder cuz they're light and really good. i ride thunder ellington's and they're sick!!!!!!!

I hate Royals, they're paint is the cheapest ever, they're too fuckin' heavy, and they bend from friction. First time I did 50-50 (ever!!).....they bent. I just put my old Thunders back on. I recommend Thunder to the fullest.

I don't have much experience with different trucks or skateboards, but iv had a pair of royal trucks for my board for a couple of years now and they have held up pretty well. They scratch pretty easy, are a bit heavy, and for some reason mine don't stay tight. They use too, so I am thinking maybe i hit the pin or something. Overall they have held up very well and i don't really have any problems with them. I'm going to buy a new board and am thinking about putting royals on that one because they have served me well. Overall i would recommend them.

I have a couple of pairs of Royal trucks. What I  find lacking in graphic design on some of the models is made up for in a very nicely designed skateboard truck. I recommend Royal to anybody.

I give these a 2.5 Teribble durabilty!!!!!! my base plates broke on flat ground as well as my friends. I would rather skate kryptonik trucks then these! I replaced the base plate and a day later the king pin snapped! then i replaced the king pin and the axle was loose and the wheeles kept self tightening!!! so i threw them out and bought some sick indys!! DON'T GET THESE TRUCKS!
