My husband and I are empty nesters that decided to move back to Austin from the Dallas area but weren't really sure where in Austin we wanted to live. About 20 years ago we used to live in and absolutely love the Barton Springs area but we knew that in our retirement years, we didn't want to pay those hefty property taxes associated with those homes. Romeo really listened to our needs and wants and suggested something that we had never considered, a downtown area condo! He pointed out the pros of not having any maintenance to do along with the convenience of having all of the great restaurants and venues so close by. We carefully considered all of our options and took the plunge to purchase a condo. We could not have made a better decision, we absolutely love it! In this market, you need realtors with determination, experience and guts. This realtor showed none of those qualities. He has a very nice personality. But that is a distraction from selling or buying properties with him. Could not sell my property for over a year even when the door was open for any price. I got a better offer selling on my own without any marketing, just from craigslist. not recommendable realtor.

I can be a bit demanding when I really want something. My lease on the condo that I was renting was going to end and I only had a limited amount of time to find a house.
