I don't klnow about Rogain, but a man here at work tried it. He'd reached the early forties, started to lose, became VERY concerned. He went to the doctor, was perscribed Rogain. He use the treatment for a few week. Each day you'd see him in is cubicle looking in the mirror. About every few weeks, I get in early, get a pair of drafting sissors, cut hair off my arm over is deskpad. Like to drove him nuts!

Rogaine has too many side affects and in the long run, is not worth the time, investment or health risk. Rogaine was very sticky, I had to leave it on all day and it was just a mess! Very uncomfortable and irritating. From blisters on my skin to loss of breath, I felt side affects from all angles. My doctor quickly put me on Fortalex PT. The treatment works great and thats one less worry from my list!

Fortalex PT is better than Rogaine! I don't care what anyone says, half of the peolple who commented have never had a problem with hair loss, the other half are skeptics. I am the king of skeptics, and I won't believe in anything until I see it actually works! I have been using Rogaine for a year and after the seventh month, I began seeing results. All of a sudden, I started loosing hair again, and for some reason it stopped working... I finally asked my doctor what he thought, and he told me to start using Fortalex PT. After three months of using Fortalex, I saw results. Now here I am a year later telling you that Fortalex PT works better than Rogaine! I'm convinced!!! Heres the website: http://www.FortalexPT.com

I have been using Rogaine since the year 1999 or 2000, I still have a lot of hair and did not go bald which keeps me going and going to use it. In fact I sometime switch to use other brands like krickland generic minoxidil and still get the same results.

great for right now guys - meaning 1 month ago - as most of you who recently started using rogaine, youve probably noticed whats called peach fuzz - yes this had some very slight side effects such as heart palputations, but nothing serious for me - i read some of these horror stories about having rashes and dandruff - hopefully everyone is using rogaine foam scented formula which by the way smells fantastic, this should do the trick to stop rashes and dandruff - as for scalp med to much to prepare for morng and night plus u cannot use styling aides afterwards because this concoction never dries!!!!!!stop wasting your money on this crap! - once you apply rogaine foam you can use styling aides such as hairspray right afterwards being careful not to spray on the vortex - rogaine foam will dry like a mouse so in about 4 hrs if youd like you can run your fingers thru your hair breaking this up, trust me people will never know you have it on and everyone is always commenting me on the great... I personally got modest results with Rogaine over 2 years of usage. Yes, Rogaine works. However, this does not mean it regrows hair in ALL of people, it restores ALL of your hair, the quality of the new hair just like the your normal ones, it works for ALL types of baldness, and it works forever. Rogaine GENERALLY regrows hair in most of men and women. In some cases, it yields miraculous results, and restores almost all of your hairs, and they are really thick. In some case, it results in a thin coverage of thin hair. In some case, of course, the result is far from satisfying. To know more about Roagaine, I recommend that website: http://www.rogainehair.com/

I never used Rogaine foam before but the regular brand I had tried for about a couples months and my hands and feet started to swell and my hart started beating irregular I stop after that and all the symptoms went away. It's funny but I had tried a product called Scalp Med and had got very good results my hair had came back about up to 60% after four months and It was dark. I remember when the product came it had two bottles and one big bottle for the spray and you mix the two with the big one and you have a two month supply. supposedly the product contained minoxidil witch has the same ingredient as Rogaine but this one had results when the other just scared me. Well after the all that I decided to go for the six month supply and order it and when it came it was totally different, instead of the bottles coming to mix they were already filled up, so I called the company to ask why the bottles were a little different then before they said that they couldn't send the bottles for the co... Used Rogaine for 6months. It did grow hair, but the side effects were horrible for me. Danruff was awful, face became very sensitive to the point I couldn't shave for more than 3 days in a row. Lips became very very chapped and neck and head iched all the time.........I wouln't recommend this product to anyone, save your money and avoid all the side effects its not worth it.

I have been using Rogaine along with Propecia for about 3 months now, and I am sure Hair loss has stopped. I have peach fuzz, but I don't know if Hair is growing. I will wait for some more time before I make the decision. Anyway I recommend it. Use it. It is worth it.

iv founds the way to cure hair loss. I have not develope a pill or any topical solution but the anwser is simple. If you can apply a deadend foarm of DHT to the scalp the hair may build an ammunity against it.

iv been using rogaine for about a year. Rogaine is not an HDT blocker and is therefore not a cure for hair loss. I might have grown 6 hair while being on it. I am losing hair in my frontal region. Procerin sounds like the next best thing. It sounds safe and effective. It seems absurd to me that something as simple as regrowing hair is so hard for modern science to figue out. I promise there will be more effective ways to regrow hair in the future such as hair cloning but for now id shop around for safe products other than rogaine

My live in boyfriennd uses Rogaine. Before he started using as directed we didn't see any improvement. Once he followed the directions strictly, he started growing hair. As the other fellow said it is mostly a peah-fuzz in the beginning(he's almost blond, so that works out), but enough for friends and family to comment on it after a few months. He is really happy with it. We actually apply with a cellulite cream applicator I got for myself and never used it. I think it helps by massaging the scalp a little more, as well as spreading the product better.

I want to say that yes, there was some regrowth, but nothing that you would even consider worthwhile. It did little else other than make my scalp itch, and make it look like I had a bad case of dandruff.

I am currently in month two of using Rogaine. I am using it in the front portion of my scalp. An area that the product doesn't claim results. I am not only seeing a stop in hair loss, but also some re-growth of hair. Though I am still early in use, I would reccomend. I started use early in my hair loss, so this was helpful. I am 29 years old.

I don't have a problem with baldness, but the woman who cuts my hair said Rogaine is the best product out there for those who are so afflicted. I have a friend who used it for awhile, but stopped after he started getting heart-palpitations. He figured baldness was preferable to heart problems. I'm not saying Rogaine does cause heart problems...a scientist I'm not...but it is something that should be kept in mind.

My husband and son both use this stuff and they find if they stop the hair loss is greater. Yes, the new growth starts out as peach fuzz, (what do you expect?) but you have to keep using it. It's important not to let amy length of time pass between applications or you'll be back to square one. With my son his receding hairline has receded in the other direction!

I was hoping there'd be a lot of data on this topic. Oh, well. My two cents on Rogaine...it will probably work if you've just started losing your hair up top in the last couple of years. The problem is that the only hair you get are little peach-fuzz hairs. (Just my experience, obviously). If anyone tesified on here that something was AWESOME, I probably wouldn't believe it anyway.

I was experiencing female pattern hair loss and my dermatologist recommended Rogaine. The good news is my hair grew back. However, the Rogaine was an irritant to my scalp. After every application, my scalp turned deep red and it burned like fire. After one month, I discontinued the treatments. I had angry white blisters on my scalp and on my neck. I just couldn't tolerate the pain. I'm not sure which treatment attributed to my hair gain: Rogaine or Theragram M muti-vitamins and Vitamin D.
