was extremely please with the services my husband and I received at the spa. I am now going to continue to go a monthly basis for my facials and massages. The faciliy was very serene, beautiful and clean ( like no others). The spa is located in the second floor above the salon, so there is not noisy and the calm is imperative ( others have the spa located below the salon or in the basament and the noise make it impossible to relax or to enjoy the services). although we arrived late the greeting receptionists were very accommodating. It was my husband's first visit to a spa and they were very patient with him and they made him to be like at home. the staff was very personable and knowledgeable. We both left there feeling that we have made new friends. Beautiful, luxurious, and extremely well run, nothing bad to report, everything is five stars there!

I am a beauty editor of a New York Magazine. Our next project is about hair extensions and after a long research I decided to have the hair extensions at Rodolfo Valentin salon ( www.extensionsnyc). This fabulous salon not only does the best hair extensions I can even predict but they also have wonderful spa services. I got the most relaxing massage and a great facial by Angelica. The manicure and pedicure area is an oasis of peace and I felt like a queen lying in a couch between soft pillows while drinking a glass of champagne. Since Rodolfo Valentin is one of the top hairstylist and one of the top hair salons in NYC and Long Island I expected to have great service but I got a lot more than anticipated. I can say, this is the best salon in NYC and it will be showing in my next beauty article.

Hair extensions are what I really wanted, but I was afraid for the hair extensions that every hair extension salon is offering after witnessing the hair disasters in all my friends getting their own hair damaged. After an exhaustive research I got to the conclusion that Rodolfo Valentin is the only one offering hair extensions damage-free. After being a client of the NY hair salons, I was so disappointed with my hair until found this salon by typing in "Best Colorist" "New York" on Google, I spend lots of time reading all the great reviews, and I now find myself writing one! I've been to Rodolfo's salon more than a couple of times: once for highlights and the second time for a haircut. His team is so professional and caring. There is such a good ambience throughout the whole salon. Rodolfo is without doubt a master at his profession.

Last month my husband gave a birthday gift - a haircut and hair color at Rodolfo Valentin salon. I had not done much to my hair for a while, just retouching the roots. I really liked the haircut which rejuvenated my look and was easy to keep at home and got me compliments everywhere I go. The best part is - I just had a broad idea what I would like and let the stylist do the rest. The result was astonishing. Eva put some lowlights in my bleached blond hair to get it closer to my natural dark blonde. I went back lately to put in highlights and I am very pleased with the outcome. I was always searching for fine hair solutions. Many places offered me to wear hairpieces that had no natural look. Finally I found Rodolfo Valentin, and he is such a blessing! In fact I am one of his first clients having his custom made, hand-made hair extensions back in 1984, when no one knew about hair extensions. But because Rodolfo has his legendary experience in working for the celebrities, show-bizz and Royalty, he found his way to extend people hair in a natural, undetectable way. This gorgeous day spa and hair salon has the just right mixture of being upscale and luxurious, without the snobbish than other spas in the area has. "You must consider yourself lucky to be here", attitude that so many long island spas have. Had a deep tissue and this is now my new habitual spa. Not only was the massage overwhelming, you could tell that they put so much thinking into all the small details - you'll know what I mean when you go. The pedicure chairs are out-of-this-world! I've been to plenty of spas all over New York and Long Island, but Rodolfo Valentin salon and spa is the best "experience". I already booked by next appointment also to have my hair color and haircut, I was watching customers leaving from the hair salon looking amazing!

My daughter and my husband gave me a full day gift package for my birthday at Rodolfo Valentin Salon and Spa. In despite that it was issued for the Long Island Salon and Spa, I was able to use the spa services at the long island location and the hair services at the New York City location, Rodolfo authorized it himself because I really wanted to experience his golden hands. It was absolutely divine. I went after a mainly tough week and began to calm down as soon as I stepped into their beautiful waterfall lounge, relaxing at the sound of the water. The team was warm and helpful, the decor was old word incredibly sophisticated, and the service was exceptional. I can’t wait to go back with friends. The NYC location is very modern and fresh look, very Madison Avenue…. My hair color, haircut and hairstyle turn out to be the best I’ve had in my life, Rodolfo himself did the entire job. I feel so clean and relaxed whenever I come out. Relaxing between services at their WATERFALL LOUNGE is my favorite! The place is sooo clean and peaceful. I think all the snacks and the refreshing drinks in the waiting room are a great touch. it really gives you that extra feel that you're getting the best of everything. The products that they use smell wonderful and feel wonderful. The staff are also so welcoming and polite and they know just how to treat a client whether for a huge package or a simple eyebrow wax. I am from Far Rockaway and last week I got out of the train in Cedarhurst to shopping around. Walking on Cedarhurst Avenue, I found the Long Island Beauty Center; the owner is the New York City celebrity hairstylist Rodolfo Valentin. I couldn’t believe the beauty of the place and I couldn’t believe still more that such a wonderful place is in that town. I’ve a thinning hair problem. I’ve visited every place for hair extensions in New York, including Long Island, and a place in Queens that advertises very much about hair extensions, but I didn’t trust them, they only seem to care for the money and not for the client’s hair. Therapeutic background music, fabric shaded walls and a pool of colors was waiting for me at the spa floor. A chic lounge with reclining couches placed around the spa combined with the waterfall to give it a fresh, peaceful feel as you walk through the door. A nice touch is the floor which is covered with heated stones. Upon entering I was met by an spa attendant with a serene smile, who has clearly spent many peaceful hours wafting around this oasis of calm. After showing me to a seat in the reception area she offered me some flavoured water - a toss up between 'de-stress' or 'vitality' (I opted for vitality thinking it will probably incorporate both). Everywhere I go, everybody stop me on the street and ask me where I get my hair color. He is really the king of hair color as everyone calls him. He is just the right mix of being a good listener and an ingenious artiste. Rodolfo creates the color to fit the client personality as well as skin texture, color and face, and makes it occur in such a calm way that I can look qualified for work and have fun on the weekends. The haircuts are also amazing!, and Mariya is a great professional. The entire staff is welcoming and I love Claudio, Pia , Juvy, Susan and the spa manicure is amongst the best. Rodolfo valentin is the best hairdresser of USA. Getting one's haircut can be a very unpredictable event. In the first place, a respectable cut is going to cost you, and after you've forked it over, you have to watch to make sure you get what you want. And then there's that entire attitude at some of the swankier spots. Thank goodness for Rodolfo Valentin at his salons. He takes his time, works with your extraordinary cowlick to give you what you ask for, and won't charge you an arm and a...well, head of hair (most cuts are just $ 225). He'll work with your agenda to fit you in for that hot date, he massages your scalp with every cut and he's even been known to cut hair on ailing people out of the salon. There are just not a lot of stylists like Rodolfo out there ? a very talented, super-nice guy who'll go out of his way to make you look great.

My own hairdresser recommended the Hair extensions by Rodolfo Valentin (that he named Hair Infusion) his patented trademark system, I was looking for somebody to make my hair like a Tyra Banks, Beyonce, or Naomi Campbell, because my style is exactly like them and for the first time in my life I am so happyyyyyyy!. From 2003 I am coloring my hair, and although there are no similar statistics for products used in hair salons, and if it is true that the vast majority of women are hiding their gray as myself, most of the popular brands does not last long covering it and in a few days the gray color shows because the color wash out! As many of my friends I also even tried to do it myself buying the hair-coloring product from the drugstore. He explained to me that the major difference is that a professional colorist can custom blend a specific color and control the amount of peroxide used. At this magnificent salon (other exist in the south shore of Long Island) there are junior stylists and colorists, as well as senior, designer, and high skilled stylists and colorists. At Rodolfo Valentin luxurious Spa I got the best for my body, my face, my nails and my hair! It is something very rare to find a beauty center where all services are ten points. It is really one-stop-shop. Before I found this unsurpassed Salon and Spa I was required to go to different places to be one hundred percent happy. Now at Rodolfos where every service is twelve points (from one to ten) I really cannot believe how lucky I am! Rodolfo is the key men to use for hair coloring. As a path to success is to make sure that the color looks good on you and Rodolfo is the only one that will make sure it happens.. Matching your hair color is principal, as a mismatch will be obvious. Rodolfo took me within a few shades of my natural hair color; and he also told me that some difference is acceptable, as it can create a nice subtle yet dramatic look, but any more than a few shades and the hair wont look quite right. He also told me that he could dye my hair with an entirely new color, but hair coloring for an executive women works best when its subtle, not when its a dramatic hair color change.
