I have a pair of Rocky Jasper Boots for use stricktly when I snowblow. After first use one of the speed lace eyelets broke. After 6+- uses over 1 1/2 winters the whole bottom of the boots have cracked and broken rendering them totally useless. Customer service says warrenty is one year and they wont even comment on quality or consider and form of help. Real garbage, do not but these products.

While in a law enforcement position, I purchased four pair of Rocky Boots. What a waste of money, I would take them from the closet while in the original box and have never been worn. The soles CRUMBLED like black popcorn. Totally unserviceable and unusable. Sent back to Rocky and they returned the boots to me with a note that l. I failed to provide an original receipt and 2. They were out of the original 12 month warranty period. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY SOMETHING WITH QUALITY FROM A COMPANY THAT STANDS BY THEIR PRODUCTS. Rocky knew of the sole problem but continued to sell their inventory, knowing full well that the soles would crumble and fall apart. I guess they hoped it would not occur within the first 12 months. For a pair of boots to fall apart in a heated/air conditioned environment while sitting in their original box and never worn is indicative of the POS product Rocky is putting on the market. I would rather go barefooted than give Rocky Boots another penney of my mon... Read more

I have a pair of ICE 1000s. They have no traction on packed snow at all, I expected more from a boot made for cold wet weather. A friend was wearing $20 walmart boots and was able to stay ahead of me on uphill hikes while I was stuggling to stay on my feet The tread design on the sole is much like a car tire designed for rain. Customer service sucks at rocky. I tried to explain the problem and got the brush off, I was looking for a solution and would have paid more for a better sole, all I got was the same BS answer. I met another guy hiking and said he only wears his 1000s in fresh snow because of the same problem. I will never buy anything rocky and encourage others not to either. I hope the economic downturn cost them, then maybe they will learn what customer service is.

I bought my cornstalkers 9-30-09 and put sno proof on them as well as mink oil, and 2-17-10 called Rocky in regards to my feet becoming damp in them while standing in snow to the tops of the boots for well over 8 hours,....The girl who I spoke with sent me a return form immediately through my email and I simply sent them back, Today is 3-2-10, and Fed Ex left a brand new pair at my door, I work for the water dept. here in Hamilton, Ohio (which happens to have the offical title of best water in the world:) and am in the drink VERY often repairing services, and have to say I put these boots through their paces in the short time I had them, and I will gladly say I'm hooked!!!

I have Rocky Cornstalkers. I loved them until the same thing happened--the soles and heels crumbled like popcorn. The uppers are perfect, but the boots are throwaways now because of the soles. Rocky won't help either.

I purchased a pair of Rocky artic pack boots about three years ago, for use only in severe storms to use my home snow blower. I wore them three or four times and stored them in their original box in my closet. I put them on several days ago to blow some snow and the soles crumbled into small pieces and left dark grease-like marks on my carpets. I called Rocky and they wont replace them because it's beyond their 12 month warranty. I have never seen anything like it; the soles disintegrate into small pieces like crumbled cheese. I will never buy another pair of Rocky boots. They are absolute trash and the company makes no effort to recognoze or make good on their grossly defective products. I paid over $200. for what they advertise as premium quality boots and was able to wear them only three or four times. Steve - Yardley, Pa. [email protected]

I HAVE OWNED TWO PAIR OF ROCKY HUNTING BOOTS. TO MY SURPRISE THE SOLES ON BOTH PAIR DRY ROTTED. I ASKED ROCKY IF THERE WAS ANYTHING THEY WOULD OR COULD DO ABOUT THIS OBVIOUS DEFECTIVE MATERIAL USED IN THEIR BOOTS AND WAS TOLD NO . THEY ARE OUT OF THE 12 MO. WARRANTY. NEEDLESS TO SAY, THE NEXT INVESTMENT IN BOOTS WILL NOT BE WITH ROCKY .

I don't own a pair of Rocky boots, but I have shopped them and I like their looks. They are mid-priced and I will have to buy a pair to give Rocky a try. I like the looks, at least.
