Robert Parish when with the Celtics was seen as an important player and but (like James Worthy with the Lakers )didn't earn the same recognition he would have if he had played on another team because of the superstars (Larry Bird, Kevin McHale) he played with. And were it not for a certain 6-9 shot blocking/rebounding monster from USF, Parish would be recognized as the greatest center in Celtics history. Parish was as a solid scorer, rebounder and defender, shot blocker and just as important to the three Celtics championships and all their success in the 1980's.

The chief was always my favorite, even before the pot jokes.
