We had alot of fun here looking at all the sharks and other fish. It was so neat. We enjoyed ourselves. I was suprised at how much stuff there was to see. Then we went to pole worx for some pole dancing lessons I couldn't stop laughing.

We came here for my sister's bachelorette dinner and we had a pretty good time here! The service was excellent, but the food is just good... not GREAT. The tuna tartare was a bit too spicy, but extremely fresh. I had a steak (which i think was a bit too chewy and I didn't like the sauce) At the end of the dinner, our waiter came by and asked us if we needed anything else... and he goes, "coffee, tea, want a picture in the kitchen?" We thought that he was joking so we replied with, "sure" Then he goes, "okay, let me ask the chef" We ended up in the very clean kitchen and met the very friendly chef! The wine tower is so cool! We saw two girls climbing up the tower to find wine.

Aureole is excellent in every way. The room is dramatic and quiet. The food is very good by any standard. The sweet pea ravioli starter and beef duo entree are worth a mention. The e-winebook makes navigating a large wine list a snap. The meyer lemon gelee pre-dessert was also perfect as was the service.Aureole is worth every penny

It's no Sea World but still really really cool. My daughter was able to touch the sting rays . The jelly fish were amazing and so was everything. So worth going to if you have kids of any age.

We wouldn't consider ourselves picky diners, but this place just didn't do it for us. My significant other and I read the previous 16 reviews BEFORE dining at China Grill and were expecting the following: great service, large portions (to share), great dining atmosphere (contemporary style), and tasty food. China Grill delivered only one of the above: the contemporary style. Here's what we received, instead: 1. A rude server with a grouchy attitude that passed us on to another server without informing us halfway through our meal. 2. Ordered the Schezwan Steak thinking it would be large enough for two people to share (this is what China Grill prides themselves on.) The steak tasted pretty good, but the portion certainly wasn't enough for even one person so we ended up ordering more food. We think the slow economy (and hence 40% full restaurant on a Sat night) is the reason why they are skimping out on food portions now. 3. The style and decor of the restaurant is nice if you are in... Read more

I wish I could do two reviews on Red Square. The first review being on the food, and the second review on the drinks (bar). My wife and I have been to Red Square a couple times, and the bar has some of the best drinks around with the bartenders also being very good. The food on the other hand is not very good. I really was disappointed and have had far better meals elsewhere. I ordered Chicken Kiev, and it was very dry and not too flavorful. Our server was very good though and that helped salvage a not so good tasting meal. I would give the food a 2 star rating and the drinks a five star rating. Overall 3 stars.

We have dined in many different restaurants in Las Vegas and recently ate at China Grill in Mandalay Bay and we were very impressed with the cuisine and service at this spectacular multi-million dollar restaurant that features a main dining room which is a replica of a hollowed wine barrel with a unique ceiling light show during service. They recently added a sushi to menu with a Japenese trained Chef named Wai whose eclectic twists to well known dishes were fantastic. The main entrees we ordered were a Kalbi marinated Rib Eye (20 OZ bone in) and their Shanghi Lobster in a coconut curry plum cream sauce and crispy spinach that was the best whole lobster dish we ever tried. We agreed the price point was very resonable for a family style concept that emphasized variety, quality and team service. Go check out this great surpirse...

This was my first time staying at Mandalay Bay. It is a tradition of mine to scope out all the upscale restaurants at the new place I will be staying and pick out one to try. I was certainly not disappointed with RM Seafood. Our reservations were for an early time, so we had no problems being seated right away. In fact, there was only one other couple dining in the restaurant. It made me a little hesitant, but the service and food that followed set my mind at ease. Besides, by the time we left 2 hours later, the place was packed. Anyway, I cannot say enough good things about the staff. My date was my mom, and being from a foreign country, it was difficult for her to communicate with the staff. However, everyone was very patient with her - something I truly appreciate since I have experienced countless rude waiters in the past. The appetizer, a tuna tartare, was excellent, as was the bread that came with a phenomenal spread. Our actual meals were great. My short ribs were ... Read more

OK...let's have this straight - there is nothing Russian about this restaurant besides beheaded Lenin's sculpture at the entrance, Chicken Kiev and vodka. Service was fine, it is just a wrong concept. Anyway, for anyone considering to open a Russian restaurant in Vegas - go for it, there is NO competition!

While vacationing in Vegas with a small group of about 15 people, we picked up a menu from China Grill. The menu sounded great, so we made reservations for that night. When we arrived we were a little suspicious as to why we were the only customers in there (never a good sign for a restaurant), and why it took over 25 minutes to be seated (we had a reservation, and it?s not like they were busy or anything.) We decided to have a drink at the bar (the bartender was very friendly) and check out the bathrooms (way cool!) while waiting for our table. Finally we were seated, and our waitress started out fine. She made some great sake suggestions and took our appetizer orders. She came back and took everyone?s dinner orders. Then we didn?t see her for over an hour. Someone else brought out some appetizers, which were so small we ordered more. They never came. And neither did our dinner. A couple of the people at the far end of the table received their dinners and had finished eating by the ... Read more

This was our first stop on our Vegas trip last weekend. We had reservations at 11 PM. Our plane landed at 10 PM, so we opted for a more expensive limo so we wouldn't have to wait in the cab line and possibly miss our reservation. We arrived at China Grill right on time, only to find out they had closed the kitchen at 10:30. The hostess got the manager, who then told us our reservation had been cancelled. She couldn't tell us who cancelled, why no one had notified us, or why they would close the kitchen half an hour before their last reservation. The manager was unapologetic, made no effort to make up for their mistake other than to get us a table at Red Square. Bottom line... some of the most egregious customer service I've ever experienced.

I've been to Aureole twice now and sat in the bar both times. We received immaculate service from our waiter Manuel, who after our drinks and appetizers walked us back to the kitchen to meet the chef, then back to the secret pond full of swans in the back!! As we sat down out there, he disappeared only to reappeat with special mini-muffins we could rip apart and feed the swans with! Magical magical magical. We didn't even have to slip him a $20 -- he was just fantastic as was our immaculate food. Try it!!!

In a town full of very well publicized great restaurants with very well known chefs, we also like to try the not so marketed spots to see what they can put out. RM surprised us with a very good sushi dining experience. The sushi chef was very interested in what we wanted and listened to our requests. he also made some sugestions which all turned out to be delicious. Our group tried several of their soups and they were fantastic. The miso was incredibly hearty and a bit creative. Some of my friends had offerings from the pasta portion of the menu, which I found them to be nuts to do since this is a seafood restaurant. They wish they had listened because their pasta dishes were average at best, but hey you don't go to a steak house or Italian restaurant and order sushi now do you. The staff and service were very attentive and not pushy, which many restaurants in LV are - trying to upsell you on everything at every moment. The overall design of the spot is clean, but I'm not in love with... Read more

Service was terrible, food mediocre, meal took forever, and bill was huge. The fixed price menu and automatic gratuity (large group) meant they could neglect us and we'd still have to give them a good tip. May not matter to everyone, but there were no vegetarian or chicken entrees on the menu (they did make a chicken dish on request though) and the worst part--they served us bread with bacon and did not tell us! Half of us do not eat pork for ethical and religious reasons, but we did that night, much to our horror! There are so many better restaurants in Vegas. Don't waste your time or money at Aureole.

OMG This place sucked. Don't waste your time or your money. I wanted this to be a good restuarant. But it just wasn't. I have been to many Vegas places and there are so many other, better restuarants to eat at. This is supposed to be a "wine restuarant." I had to request the menu. After ordering, I got the wrong wine. We waited for over three hours for 2 of the 3 courses we ordered. Finally, we just left. The ambiance is average. The service sucked. The food was not good. There are so many great places to eat is Vegas. This place is a mistake.

If you don't have patience to wait in line at the bar don't go, but this place may be my favorite Vegas bar. It's not very big which contributes to the waiting in line but its well worth a few minutes of your time. Great selection of Vodkas and just a cool place to check out. I have dined at the restaurant several times and I also recommend trying it.

I sat at the table waiting for a server for 20 minutes. (Actually we watch the server walk around ignoring us for 20 minutes). I had to ask him twice to come take our drink order. After bringing us our drinks, we never saw him again. So after another 20 minutes, I chased him down for the bill. I asked him for the bill three times. (This is not him coming to my table. This is me running around the restaurant trying to find him so I can pay my bill.) So he brought the bill. I paid in cash and walked out with my girlfriend. He chased out after us accusing us of not paying!!!!! I asked him if he had check the table if I had paid and that I will go back to the restaurant and check with him. He then said (ironically) ?It?s okay, I TRUST you.? He is a dark haired man with a goatee and glasses. If he comes to your table as your server, get up and walk out.

I had heard a lot about Red Square, mainly about the vodka locker, but was frankly kind of disappointed with the dinner I had there. Food was okay, ambience was slightly depressing because the furnishings looked kind of shabby and run-down. Just go for drinks. The martinis are quite good, but very strong.

Three of us had the tasting menu, which at $150/pp (including the butter-poached lobster) seems a little extreme for the food that arrived. I enjoyed nearly all of the dishes (tomato broth overwhelmed some nice lobster ravioli), and a few of dishes were real standouts: tender swordfish in green curry, the green apple and vodka drink that came with the tartare, a seared scallop with a smear of sherry reduction, etc. The matching wines were $70 and very well done. Based on our empty plates, I would say that desserts were a success. For the most part the flavorings are subtle, and if you don't like subtlety you may not appreciate rm as much as I did. I recommend rm, though I have to say that I think the meal I ate wasn't quite worth the price I paid for. But that seems to be par for the course in Vegas.

It's ceratinly easy to see why The Red Square at Mandalay Bay has the coolest bar, it's made completly of ice. That said, the service is great, and the drinks are wonderful. The only problem I have with this place is that the bar area is too small for the number of patrons waiting outside the door for the doors to open. Another plus though is the strong drinks! The husband and I shared one lest we go over our limit for martini's! I would recommend that every martini lover stop here at least once while in vegas.

Ice laden bar helps keep the martini of a lifetime cool but, you won't need it. The drinks will go fast because they are so well made. The white russian comes with a red square and a large man sized glass. The martinis speak for themselves. Great for out of town visitors and locals.

In Short Outside the door of Red Square stands a decapitated statue of Lenin. The head only lasted a month before complaints by retired servicemen convinced Mandalay Bay to chop it off the replica of the Soviet Communist leader. Inside, however, everything Russian reigns. The red decor will match the blood rushing to your head after knocking back a Stoli. With more than 100 varieties of vodka, this is the center of the Vegas martini world.

I have to admit that I had very little expectations beyond the wine tower when I made a dinner reservation here. However, once I was there, I was very impressed by everything. The restaurant is very intimate feeling, and our table had a great view of the wine tower. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the food they were offering that night, and was able to answer all of our questions. And the wine list... wow! They have their whole list on a PC tablet, which allows you to view their selections in several different ways (by type, region, price, etc). Everything we ordered was fantastic, and we had a wonderful dining experience. I would highly recommend this place!

I went last year for a Bachelorette Party with 14 girls. The food was great! The drinks were great! We had good service. We ordered a ton of food since there was so many of us with different tastes (half ate meat/half didn't) and a couple of drinks each. We got out of there at $60/person including covering the bride- which is a great deal for Vegas! The atmosphere is really cool, too. I've just made reservations to go back with another group...

In Short Across the way from Red Square (all vodka, all the time) and rumjungle (ditto, but substitute rum), this restaurant has a built-in fun quotient. The ultra-contemporary, neo-Asian decor creates a feeling of dining on the Pacific Rim of the future. The grill offers small plates with lots of flavors and doodads. There's plenty of experimentation with Szechuan beef, crispy duck and tempura sashimi. Presentations are architectural and high style.

In Short This intimate second-floor restaurant features vibrant ocean murals, crystal glass separating each room and light woods that look like they came directly from a yacht. A mixture of linen-covered tables and half-moon leather booths fill the dining room floor, while the adjoining lounge features an L-shaped mahogany bar that's ideal for pre-dinner cocktails. Fresh seafood choices range from fork-tender yellow fin tuna dashed with Moroccan spices to wild mushroom-crusted halibut.
