Restyle is by far the best consignment store, and for that matter, one of the best boutique's in Austin period! Finding brands like Marc Jacobs, Prada, Diane von Furstenberg, Banana Republic, and on, and on, at their low prices is the epitome of a bargain! The owner and staff are friendly and always have helpful advice. They even have fashion wardrobe consultants to help design outfits for you! Plus, as a way to turnover my wardrobe, consigning there is a cinch and convenient, and I get paid for my clothes!!! Of course, I often turn around and spend my earnings in the store, but that's okay b/c I leave with unique and stylish items! Nowhere can you find the great deals on handbags, shoes, dresses, even maternity. Go often and enjoy!!

I went in to Restyle last week with a pair of Citizen jeans that still had the tag on them with a price of $172.00. These jeans were not "low rise and flared" but rather mid rise and straight leg and therefore, the older looking woman behind the counter "could maybe sell them for $30 max" but she was willing to give it a try. Said woman was wearing a see through white lacey top thing with what appeared to be sunless tanner rings around the neck line. Clearly a perfect example of style and grace. This woman turning her nose up at my designer jeans with the tags still attached, needed to be (pardon my pun) RESTYLED. So I posted my jeans on Ebay and sold them yesterday for $154.00. Take that low rise flare leg! 2002 called and needs their trend back...along with their orange self tanner. Snotty customer service combined with poor taste, style, and etiquette makes Restyle a ReConsideration.

This store is well organized by style/article of clothing, size, and color. The selection was not enormous, but it was quality, which was nice because I didn't have to hunt through wrack after wrack of junk. I found two shirts that I'm extremely pleased with and which were reasonably priced. One even had the original price tag on it. The staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back!

I was fortunate to discover Restyle through the fabulous seamstress that works there and offers her services in alterations. I find myself telling friends daily about the wonderful finds there when they ask, "where did you get that?". Not only can I find unique bargains in a comfortable, clean atmosphere but Nancy Coy (owner) keeps me in the loop about promotions through email on a regular basis.

I discovered Restyle first as a customer and was very pleased with the quality and value of what I bought. Over time, I began to bring in my gently used clothing and also found it to be a great place to make some extra money. The staff has always been more than courteous and helpful whenever I have been in the store. In addition, I found Nancy Coy (the owner) to be most supportive of my request for clothing donations for my church's annual garage sale. I really appreciate her donations in addition to the good service I have always received at Restyle. My only suggestions would be to expand the store so there would be more space for Restyle's incredible values and to increase the plus-size clothing offerings.

Beware if you consign here. I consigned my items here. I called on time to pick up my items. I was told by an employee working for the owner that I could come pick up my items in the next week and also pick up my check. Ok with me. I also asked her if I could keep my items there and it was understood by me that if they were left there, they would become the property of ReStyle. She again stated I could pick up my items at a later date. I called this morning and the owner told me that I should have called earlier. I let her know that I did and that one of her employees told me I could pick them up this week. (This employee even told me that the store calls you when the items are ready to be picked up. I let her know that this is not the case as it states VERY clearly on the contract that this is not a provided service) The owner said that she would pull my items this one time and not make them the property of her store. Thank you, since I am the customer and that I was given the wron... Read more

I have shopped at Restyle several times and have only had pleasant experiences. I too found Nancy to be helpful and fashion forward. The clothing displays are widely spaced and the boutique has a light, airy feel to it (unlike so many resale shops in Austin). I liked that the clothing is really decently priced! I hate when you go into a resale shop and find the cutest Gap shirt and find that it is....eeek...$28. Was that shirt even that much brand new!?!?!? NOT AT RESYLE.! Everything was really reasonably priced. The shoe selection was great, as was their selection of fall sweaters. Great designer handbags and artisan jewelry (some new!). I loved that they had a separate section for Petites--very few resale shops do this! The only reasons for not giving Restyle 5 stars are: I found the selection of pants in my size (10 P) really limited on each visit (although I understand that in a consignment shop, they don't have complete control over this), and there aren't enough dressing r... Restyle is an amazing resale shop and the staff are outstanding women! This shop is the very best in town and has so much to offer. You can easily come in and find a complete outfit, including jewerly and a purse if you desire. I have been taking my clothes there for over a year and have been thrilled at the payout each month. I have also purchased clothing and got many compliments on them. You cannot find a better store in town. And, Nancy is all about style, kindness, and energy. I love this store!

I went to Restyle to take some of my upscale clothing from London and New York City. One pair of pants was from an upscale store on Bond Street, in London, where Lady Di shopped regularly. Another pair of pants was an Armani bought in New York City, of high quality that was worn once. The lights were on that said "OPEN", so I marched into the store. I was met by one red headed spiked hair woman who told me they were getting ready for a show. I told them I brought some clothes in and put them down for them to look at, and asked if I could look around. They didn't appear too eager to let me do so, but broke down and said yes. I looked around and was not impressed. The clothes looked tired, somewhat beaten up and had seen better days. While I was looking, another customer marched in and was given attention. Now, if they were so hell-bent on the show, why were they still taking customers and keeping the "OPEN", light on? After I finished looking, I asked about my pants. The brunette wom... Read more

I am so glad I found Restyle in Austin. I have looked for a clean reputable place to consign my daughter's and my clothes. The store is always clean and inviting and so easy to find what you are looking for. I was really impressed by Nancy and her discerning eye for what will sell and what won't. I appreciate her expertise and advise. Whether shopping or consigning it is always a pleasure to be in Restyle. Not only can you make some good money consigning, but there are great deals to be had there.

I LOVE shopping & consigning at Restyle. I had never shopped at consignment stores before meeting the owner, Nancy Coy. I loved her style and figured I should give it a try. I cleaned out my closet and went in (not really expecting to shop). The first time in there, though, I bought designer jeans, a dress that I wore to a wedding in the Dallas Arboretum that next weekend and some basic casual clothes. On top of that, the money I received (a month or so later) from the clothes that I sold that day was OUTSTANDING. It was such a good experience that I shop there quite a bit now. The hours are outstanding since most boutiques are closed by the time I get off work. Nancy and her employees always help me find great deals and the best part is that others my size consign there (and I'm tall!!). I HIGHLY recommend shopping & consigning at Restyle!

As an avid consignment store shopper I rate "restyle" among the very best! The choices and quality of the clothing and accessories are top notch! Not being from the Austin area, I have shopped resale stores in other cities and found restyle to be well organized by color, size and season. The shop is decorated with pre-assembled outfits put together well enough to buy "as is"! On my most recent visit I was assisted by a cute red headed woman eager to help me find my size and had a good eye for items that looked good on me. She had such good ideas with accessories to go with the outfits she pulled togher for me. The store was pretty busy at the time, but she seemed to manage her time well and was cheerfully helpful to all the customers. I could tell she must be the manager. The owner must be very proud to have such an employee! You bet I'll shop there again next time in Austin!

I do not normally even think about writing a review for businesses I frequent, but I am so impressed with a resale store that I found in Austin and I have to get the word out! I just happened to be shopping at Tuesday Morning on Burnet Rd and saw what I thought was a little boutique store called Restyle. Little did I know that it was actually a "resale shop". I am not a resale shopper, I'm sorry, I have never been in a resale shop that didn't smell like old clothes. Well I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped into this store. It was clean, the clothes were presented in a nice, neat, orderly racks. The store appeared to be more of a Boutique than the standard resale store. I shopped for two hours!!!! I found Via Spiga shoes for $ 19.00 ADORABLE!!! I found four pair of jeans (one pair was Allen B. Swartz with stones for $ 55.00) WOW! When I asked about some of the clothes that looked brand new with "other boutique tags on them" I was told that not only do accept individuals... Read more

Don't be fooled by the box mall surroundings, restyle. is fabulous. On my first visit to restyle., I bought the a Betsy Johnson blouse for $12 -- I was hooked. I am a Shopper, capital "S," and this little boutique has never failed to fill my fix for a last minute dress, top or whathaveyou for any occasion. (And for cheap! I am broke; cheap works!) I have a growing collection of designer and boutique purses I got at this store. The selection is seriously great. I am sorry that misshays had a bad experience, but I it definitely isn't the norm at restyle. I always get a smile, conversation and helpful steering toward items of interest. Misshays says she doesn't have a problem, but then felt she had to come on this Web site and write a bad review for a great store because they couldn't go by her time-frame after their computers were off and the till accounted for. That doesn't even sound like the same store to me. My experience? The owner, Nancy Coy, she of the bright spiky hair, is a t... Read more

I have been consigning and shopping at Restyle for about a year. Nancy Coy, the owner, has always been very nice to work with. I love the store. It has great clothes at great prices, and I have made some big bucks consigning there. I am sure that the woman that wrote the negative review is talking about Nancy because she works many, many hours there. I can't imagine why this woman had a negative experience with her. I think since Nancy owns the store, if she needs to close 7 minutes early because she obviously needed to fix something if she was up on a ladder, then I think she has every right to do that. Restyle is the best consignment store that I have been in.

I used to love this store. It has cute clothes and offers a good deal for selling clothes to them. However, last week I went to pick up money from restyle for jeans of mine that sold. I called in advance to ask what time they closed because I was going out of town the next day. The lady said "well which day?" I said calmly "TODAY." She told me that they closed at 6:30. No thank you for calling or anything just "6:30, uh huh" (click). So I rearrange my whole day and head way out north in rush hour traffic to get there before they close. I pull in at 6:21pm. All the lights are shut off and I look again on the door at the hours which say 6:30. I get out of th car to make sure and the door is locked. I see a lady on a ladder doing something so I knock on the door. She waves her hands in the air in a huff to have to get down (this is an employ...of a store....where she works to help the customer and abide by the times posted. not to mention that i called her and asked what time ... I just happen to stumble on the shop as I was going into Tuesday Morning. I am an avid resale/thrift store shopper and thought I knew about every one of them in town. The store has some of the best prices and selection of quality clothes in town. I bought 2 pairs of jeans and 4 tops in there on my first time in. (I only wish I had known about the $5 coupon!) The young lady that helped me the first time was OK, not outstanding. Since I have made it a regular stop on my shopping rounds, they have a new lady working in there that is too funny and helps me put outfits together which is a challenge with the fashion scene changes so frequently. She rocks..........in fact, she has a fairly rockstyle hairdo. So shopping there is enjoyable and the deals keep me coming back! I would recommend this if you want a unique selection at a good price.
