Moving my clients for 8 years! Great job, always New York Best Movers has been moving my clients for the last 8 years. I am a real estate professional who referred literally hundreds of moves to New York Best Movers. If ever anything "went south" they were always ready, willing and able to make this right. Of course, this rarely happened. I take comfort in knowing that all employees are back ground checked, drug tested and NOT illegal labor. My reputation could be in jeopardy if this was the practice and I can't afford any mistakes. If you need a good mover you don't need to look anywhere else. The most professional moving service I know of anywhere in the New York City Area. They even move interstate!

In a word - excellent. I used New York Best Movers because I had used them before and been very satisfied with the service. This time, I was even more impressed with their care for my belongings. We had to move nothing but antique furniture that has been in my family for a number of years. Many of the pieces were over 100 years old. Some of them were very heavy and bulky. I was very nervous about this move because of the fact that we were dealing with antiques. An antique china cabinet was my biggest worry because of the bowed glass on the piece. If anything happened to that glass, it would be nearly impossible to replace. All of the pieces would be costly to try to replace or repair if they were damaged in any way -- and all of them held enormous sentimental value to me - so if they were harmed the emotional loss would also be great. Let me start by saying that: 1) I generally don't trust movers , I've had bad experiences in the past, and 2) my fiancée and I were each moving out of our respective apts into a brownstone (w/ a lot of stairs) outside of the city -- needless to say this had all the makings for a potentially disastrous move. I spoke to Mike on the phone and gave him the breakdown. I found him to be very specific in his questions, and while not chatty friendly, he was straight-forward and knowledgeable. Definitely no like some of the other places I called. I had called a couple of other places first and Remarkable Movers’s price was definitely the best, which again made me worry as to why. They were on time for pick up and delivery and the price they quoted me was a "No Excuse Price". The price did not change. It can be such a hassle to move your belongings from State to State. Nobody wants to stress over how to get all his or her furniture, clothes, and precious items to a new location safe and sound. I know if my family and I tried to figure out how to move our belongings to our new location without any help, our valuables wouldn’t make it to our new place in the same condition it left our old. We were extremely -- and if I weren't using email I would underscore and bold "extremely" -- pleased with the two jobs Remarkable Movers did for us this past Monday and Tuesday. The crew, led by Mike and comprised of Lenny, James and Ron, were efficient, prompt, careful, supremely competent (and real strong!). Nothing we asked for was ever too much; their standard answer was "of course we'll do that; whatever you need." In fact, at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at the end of a long and hard day with the snow still falling and the roads turning to ice, Mike ended the job with a question: "Is there anything else we can do for you before we leave?"

It?s said that after death and divorce Moving is the next most stressful event. On the day of our move, I went into labor with my twins. While I was in the hospital, my mother supervised the move with Remarkable Movers. They were incredible! Everything was impeccably packed and unpacked (we didn?t have a single broken item), and Mike and his crew were extremely professional, personable and patient. Remarkable Movers was accommodating from the beginning: they provided us the flexibility to change our move date when our new apartment wasn?t finished and they also rescheduled Mike?s crew to come back after I got home from the hospital to finish the unpacking. My girlfriend was moving into Brooklyn from the Upper West Side and we had to do it last min, we called Remarkable Movers, spoke with Lenny. He was easy to deal with, explained how the day would transpire, gave me a through estimate, and explained payment options, made it very easy for us. The guys showed up on time, Michel, the supervisor, were friendly and informative, and the crew was friendly and respectful. They did an outstanding job wrapping and caring for my g-friends items, no drama or surprises, which in the world of moving is a shock. Mike was amazing, from the first phone call when he agreed to come give a quote within 3 days (everyone else was a week or more), to the first meeting, when he came and gave us an accurate and thorough assessment of our move, to the day of the move when he led his team to move us. He and his 3 guys worked hard, gave good estimates of timing and were really just nice guys to work with for the day. The price was exactly as quoted and every part of the move was made flawlessly. At the end of the day, when they realized they brought up one of the rugs last, they picked up the furniture so we could get the rug down in place without having to be asked and without an attitude. Completely pleasant experience and we would recommend Remarkable Movers to anyone!

WOW- this company is GREAT! From start to finish, this was the best experience I have ever had with a moving company. The customer service reps were so professional, upfront, HONEST and helpful. They gave me a Great quote for my move. I was really afraid that the day of the move, they were going to *spring* new charges on me, as has been my experience with every other mover in this city. But there were no additional charges- the quote they gave me is what they charged me. The move itself was flawless- the guys were punctual and professional. They did they job really fast, but most importantly they DID NOT BREAK A THING!!!! And I live on a fourth floor walk-up and own a piano! Even though they were fully booked on the day I requested, they made a huge effort to move me on that same day in the afternoon. I was told I would have a move crew of 3 men at 8:00 am and I would be contacted if there were any delays. By 7:55 am the crew arrived and started moving my belongings. All my furniture was wrapped with blankets and could tell that the movers really cared. I have heard about movers that demanded a tip but my movers didn't even mention it. Everything arrived in the same condition it was when it was loaded on the truck and was put in the rooms I asked them to. Well... were should i start - Remarkable Movers came highly recommended to me from friends at my office - when i called, the guy who answer the phone (Lenny) had this quick respond type of representation (the way i like it) - he didn't waste any time - he knew the building i was going to move into - he knew how long it's going to take- and most important he made me feel comfortable : he was honest and this guy knew what he was talking about - every scenario i asked about - he had a direct, straight forward answer . The absolute worse experience of all time. Simply said, our movers shows up two hours late with no apology whatsoever, with no compensation whatsoever, without any notification, and in fact they even lied and said the truck was 10 minutes away when they were still working on another move. The management is horrible and I would earnestly and honestly recommend that NO ONE use this moving company if possible. I would hate for anyone else to have to go through what I went through with this horrible moving company that takes no responsibility whatsoever for their clients satisfaction. They knew that I needed to be moved in by 5PM, said they would arrive at 2:00, and ended up showing up at 4:30 making my move impossible. In fact the manager even blamed it on me on the phone for reserving at 2PM when he was the one that asked me to book for 2PM. Remarkable Movers was excellent from the first box that was put on the truck to the last box that was taken off. I was amazed at how fast the 5 guys worked and they kept up their pace all day.
