Sun Sep 20 200937 minutes after walking in and filling out the paperwork, they took my pressure, temperature, etc, and collected some further data verbally. About 15 minutes after that, I spoke with a doctor. All told it took an hour. I had previously been told I shouldn't stop anti-depressant / anti-anxiety medications or miss a single dose. I'd just found out that my mail-order prescription pharmacy never received my prescription, and my doctor couldn't see me any earlier than the day after tomorrow. Apparently Reliant doesn't consider running out of anti-anxiety or anti-depressant prescriptions something one should come to an urgent care facility for. He and the one other person I spoke with after that point were rather cold after they found out what I was there for. Gee, thanks a lot - you think I wanted to spend my evening this way? I had been /told/ by a pharmacist that I should visit an urgent care facility. I don't blame him, but I don't see how the doctor not being a mental health p... Read more

Wed Apr 08 2009Reliant is awesome. I use this place all the time. I originally went there because I got hurt a work but now use them for my family and its great because I can go in after work. I have to admit when I saw the review below it just annoyed me... they are so sweet to me and my family and I am in and out FAST!!! I am using the doctor I saw at Reliant for my regular doctor now. They take my insurance now (they didn’t at first) and the one time I had an issue with my bill they worked it out.

Sun Mar 15 2009If i could give this place less than 1 star I would. I went to this facility with my daughter who was really sick. It looks nice and clean but the service here was the worst i've ever seen. Not only did the reception area have no clue what they were doing. When I gave them my insurance card, they gave me a bunch of paperwork that didn't seem to apply to me. When I brought this to their attention, no one seemed to be able to help me. After a wait that seemed to take forever, my daughter was finally seen. She was seen by a Medical Assistant who seemed a bit preoccupied with what she was going to have for lunch rather than my daughter. The doctor was nice enough but only spent about 10 minutes with her. She gave us a prescription then we were done. After 2 weeks I got a bill from them stating that I owed them additional money that my insurance didn't "cover." I'm an R.N. and some of the charges were totally bogus. So whoever goes here has to check their bill and make sure you ... Read more

Tue Nov 25 2008I went to this clinic on a sunday. They charged $135.00 before they would see me (and I have a ppo). Front office person was rude. Doc was nice and he prescribed a medication. I found out the next day (from a specialist) that the medication could have caused irreversible damage if I had taken it and that I should not have been prescribed it for my injury. A few months later I get the bill and they wanted me to pay an additional $305.00 even after my insurance had paid them $112.00. All of these fees for an exam and a prescription! The statement I recieved did not show the $135.00 credit that I paid on the day of service. There were also 3 additional fee's incured for what I do not know??? When I spoke to the billing department they adjusted my bill to around $100 dollars. That's still $235.00 for an urgent care visit for a patient with a good insurance plan. Beware of this clinic and the fees that they will try to charge you! The only positive thing about my visit there was ... Read more

Sun Sep 14 2008What do they have in common? Nothing I guess, unless you go to Reliant for medical treatment. When I walked in (2:00 AM) the first thing I noticed was the fresh flowers displayed as you walked in and they also had them in the counter where I was greeted by a very nice and friendly receptionist. After waiting 25 minutes (heaven) to be seen by a doctor who took the time to touch and feel my injured hand and thoroughly explained my injury and the treatment in English terms. What a relief I felt when I walked in to be treated, I felt a sence of peace to know that it did not look like your tipical hospital. I also found that I can come here if I get hurt at work and they said (knock on wood) if that was the case they would pick me up and drop me off at my job site.

Sun Sep 14 2008Yes, I got hurt at work and my employer chose Reliant Immediate Care for my care. Coming to this place sure made me feel like my company cares for me because the clinic sure is pretty, clean and their customer service impressed me. My koodoos to the entire staff! It is sure not like the one we use to go to on Century Blvd. I am so glad we don't have to go there anymore. I did not wait a long time and they even drove me back on their van. I hope that every LAX employer selects a clinic like this one when their employees get hurt. It sure makes a difference!

Sat Sep 13 2008Completely disagree with the last reviewer, I use this place all the time for my family. We have Medi-cal and the choice of hanging around an emergency room for hours and hours is not fun. I am usually in and out quickly most times I go. Love the doctors and their front desk staff is always very nice. I am always complimenting them so they asked that I write this on the web, I am happy to do that since they take good care of us... More people should write positive things... not sure why the last person has such a bad experience but they should give it another chance.

Sun Jun 15 2008This is by far the worst clinic ever to go to. I took my neice there recently and not only waited 2 hours, not only watched as others went in ahead of her but I was billed over $300 for her even after I paid $135 for her to be seen and they claimed they billed the insurance carrier. When I asked the girl at the desk why others went in ahead of her I was told that if they didn't take companies first they would get in trouble! What is that all about????? The doctor barely looked at here. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere other than this lousy place.

Tue Feb 05 2008Much better than going to the emergency room. Had to wait 30 min but last time I was at the emergency room it was 4 hours. Anyway, everyone was very nice and I was in and out. VERY clean place and was easy to find.

Wed Dec 12 2007What could be worse than an eye injury on Saturday night! Having to wait for hours in an Emergency room. At Reliant Immediate Care (formerly the LAX Centinela place at the airport, you know the blue bldg. ) not only was it open at 9:00 pm, but I was seen within moments of my arrival by a Doctor who did a thorough exam then sent a nurse in to irrigate my eye. I was out of there, within the hour with medication and OUT OF PAIN on my way back to Manhattan Beach. Where can you get that kind of service? 24/7 Excellent rating! Immaculate facility, professional staff, and no lost time, eternally in the waiting room.
