We waited 10 minutes for the server to turn up. She was a very nice girl, but seemed to just have too much to do. My so-called gourmet burger was not thoroughly cooked and actually COLD throughout. I was literally able to count the number of fries they served with it--8! My husband said his burger was good, not great. Certainly not value for the money considering our $35 bill with tip. We won't be back.

After viewing the Portland Rose Festival Parade, my friend and I sat down in the Portland Oregon (NE Grand Ave) Red Robin and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Our server, Ashley C, was especially attentive and friendly. Imagine my surprise when I discovered a couple hours after returning home that my wallet was missing! My friend and I mentally retraced our steps and decided that I must have lost it at the Red Robin resturant. She had used a credit card to pay for the lunch so had the name and table number on her receipt. I called the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised when Ashley answered the phone and before I finished explaining my dilemma, she announced that my wallet was in the manager's office, that she had found it under the table and tried to find me to return it but I was already gone. Needless to say, I was relieved and immediatly drove to the restaurant to retrieve my wallet which contained a number of credit cards, a substantial amount of cash and many family photos, a... Red Robin has twice served my family burgers with either plastic wrappers or the last time it was a small hard piece of plastic that caused my daughter considerable tooth pain for five days! What’s worse is that the Corporate Headquarters refuses to take responsibility that they were both negligent and caused pain and suffering to my daughter. Bottom line… it’s not worth risking your health or that of your children to eat at Red Robin!

I went to the red robin at northeast mall in Hurst, TX, it was an awful experience. I had to wait for a long time just to be seated. Then they took me past two booths and a table that were empty and clean. Just to set my wife an I a tiny table in the very back of the red robin. It has to be the worst location in the place. They had all this Cardboard crap on the table so you can't even lay the menu down on the table. The table wasn't even big enough to put you meal down on an eat in comfort. But they have to make it even more uncomfortable by putting so much crap on it you can't lay your menu down. After a while I saw that the booths an table that we past to get to the tiny table were now full of just a couple each. I guess red robin thinks my wife an I are lesser people than those people are. Red robin must have want to hide us in the back. After a while longer we still have not been waited on. All the other couple seated after us had placed their orders an we were just left seating... The Red Robins that are in my area are the best! Service, decor, cleanliness, and the food are great! Each time I visit the one in Saucon Valley or Quakertown, PA the burgers are made to order which always taste superb! Prices are NOT high, and anyone who complains about the price should stay loyal to McDonald's. The Bleu Burgers are the best, the Whiskey River Burger is awesome and fries are good with the seasonings sprinkled on them. True, too many kids but it IS a family joint! The managers are always attendant to the customers and I have NEVER had a bad experience. If in PA, stop by to see what a real Red Robin should be like!

I had the best burger here. Whiskey River BBQ burger. And the fries! I got a whole bunch! I ordered them Well done, and they came out so damn Good! It was a really great meal, and our server filled my sodas with out even asking, or waiting til I was empty.. she must have been eagle eyeing my soda! lol. Anyway, there have been times when its just OK, but the one in Delaware (Christiana) was really good. The server also personally made sure the orders were right, and my typically picky ass friend, didnt have ONE complaint!!!!!

This was my first visit on my birthday. I was sent two coupons the same day, one for signing up and one for my birthday. I simply asked if I could use both and the waitress went to get the manager without asking did we want to talk to manager. I would have rather been told "no", than for her to call the manager over. He was even more wishy washy, said we could possibly use both if we wanted separate checks, but guilted us into using one, even though I knew we would never come back for the other one. Also I specifically said I did not want singing. They did it anyway and called me old a couple of times in the song "someone's getting old", "your old" I'd just turned 40, and Im female, so I did not appreciate this at all and think this was unforgivable. Also burger was messy, raw and bland, certainly not worth $8, fries were raw and unsalted, bland. Even the sundae did not have hot fudge, but what tasted like generic chocolate syrup, not good. This did not make me want to return and red r... Read more

I went to one in Tempe AZ, I was not impressed. I did not have the issue of them undercooking it like some of have posted. But the 5 alarm burger did not impress me in the least bit. The salsa was made at the eatting establishment and was absolutely, dismally bland. 5 alarm my god damn ass.

My wife, son and I went there last Saturday for lunch. I thought my burger, a bacon cheeseburger, was ok. We were seated right away and the wait staff was friendly. The burgers are a bit pricey, between the $9-10 range, but they offer unlimited steak fries and unlimited soft drinks. I wouldn't rush to go back but we'll probably try them again.

Not a real burger processed food. Also to call this the best burger. I went to Whataburger which tasted like meat unlike red robin. also they tried to take my money by giving me the wrong order on purpose. A cold burger and a small side salad for 12 dollars. what the order was a mighty burger which comes with fries and i asked if it came with fries. the people that worked there looked as if they were mad i came in for the correct order. they fixed the order and heated up my burger. DO NOT EAT AT RED ROBIN. the location RED ROBIN 7005 Eastchase Parkway Montgomery, AL 36117-6850 (334) 396-1078

Red Robin seasoning is, perhaps, the greatest thing on the planet. I buy it to lazily season anything I eat at home. But enough about that. Let's get to this place. Burgers. This spot is a burger joint with a rather unique stance. The burger quality is between fast food and restaurant in terms of quality--it has the uniformed "fresh from a machine production line" feel of a fast food burger but the quality of a restaurant burger. It's hard to figure out. But you don't go to Red Robin for an AMAZING hamburger, you go there for exotic burgers. It has a wide selection of interesting burgers you probably won't find anywhere else. Very flavorful and enjoyable. The fries are a bit too potato-y and bland for my tastes. But that can be resolved with an extra helping of red robin seasoning. Personally I like to ask for some campfire sauce (a blend of mayo and BBQ sauce) and add the red robin seasoning for a kick. My only complaint? It's expensive. Seven bucks for a hamburger? The... Burger King with a bar...not sure what the attraction is but the place was filled on a Sat. evening, lots of little feet, maybe they are to young to know any better. If you like steamed/microwaved/petrified products that resemble beef served in a plastic basket then this is your place. The place is a combination of Chuck E Cheese & Burger King gone bad with wait staff. Without any shred of doubt the worst hamburger I have ever eaten in my lifetime. First try, the "steak sliders" were not even cooked (not raw, still frozen). Second try it was as tough as a golf shoe. The waitress offered to bring a plain old cheese burger with everything & I agreed. By the time that arrived I was not even hungry. It was barely edible & at that point I did not have the heart to send it back again and just gave in. She kept coming by hoping for a thumbs up, had me apoligizing for their horrible food, I felt so bad for sending it back, twice! Maybe it is my fault for coming here....everyone ... Read more

Red Robin has a pretty big selection of different types of burgers/sandwiches. I always go for the chicken sandwich tossed in buffalo wing sauce! Pretty tasty. I have gotten burgers here before too and it wasn't too bad. The onion rings come out all stacked together and are pretty good. It isn't the first place I'd pick to go...but I would definetely go back sometime.

Extremely overpriced mass produced stamped out meat patties. I have eaten hamburgers back in elementary school that were as good as these. Great presentation and creative creations. Everything looks wonderful until you actually take a bite. $9-$11 burgers that are not even one inch thick. Gourmet condiments/extras.....horrible hamburger. Save your money and go to Five Guys next door for a much better burger and tastier fries. Location reviewed is in Trussville, AL.

This was the most over priced burger I ever ate in my life! I love burgers. I have been anticipating going here for 4 years, but my wife isn't a burger/fries type. We got a coupon in the mail for a $5.00 gourmet burger and we had to give it a try. It was HORRIBLE! She got the grilled chicken salad and I got the Guacamole Burger. There was nothing grilled about her salad. It was pulled straight from the refrigerator. The chicken didn't even have grill marks on it from being previously grilled. It was so cold. My wife eats no meat cold unless it is sushi or sashimi. Then the sliced apples that were arranged throught the salad were turning brown! How discusting! I took a bite of it and actually threw up!! I avoided any drama in the dining area and barely made it to the bathroom when I lost it. When I came back to eat my burger it was already cold. The fries were still hot but my hamburger patty was cold. I don't mind luke warm food as long as it has flavor. Sad to say, but this preformed ... Read more

If you are a burger fanatic like I am than Red Robin is the place for you. I have tried a wide variety of their burgers and have enjoyed almost each one I have tried. My personal favorite it the Royal Red Robin Burger. When I go I almost always get a burger but from what I have tasted their other stuff is quite good as well. One of my favorite things about Red Robin is that they offer unlimited fries, and will even give you your fries before your meal arrives. There service is usually good and fast. It offers a good family friendly atmosphere as well. A few negatives about Red Robin is that they tend to be quite busy on weekends so you may have to wait a while to be seated. Also, their prices may be a little on the high side when it comes to burgers. Overall I think Red Robin is a great place to eat and I would certainly recommend it to someone who was looking for a great burger.

I frequently go to red robin, and always order the 'shroom burger. However, my most recent experience has changed my outlook completely. I ordered the 'shroom burger medium, as I always do. After nearly an hour wait, they brought it out and it was hardly cooked. The edges were barely browned and the middle of the burger was completely raw all the way through. It looked like they just pulled the thing out of the freezer and put it on a bun. Needless to say, I was absolutely horrified that they would serve something like that, considering the outbreaks of E. Coli lately, and sent it back. Shortly after, the manager came by and handed me a new one and informed me that I want my burgers cooked "medium well" from now on, like the one he just brought. I told him that it was actually over cooked for my taste. He never offered any kind of compensation, or apologies, just insinuated that I didn't know what I wanted, really, and walked off. On top if it, they made me pay full price for the meal!... Read more

Red Robin is bad. It is an insult to society. The food is bad.  I would much rather buy diesel fuel in Inuvik for an ice road trucker than the garbage that Red Robin calls food. It costs too much.  The service is awful. Their ads are stupid, that burger is not spicy.  Go to a local place instead.

I think Red Robin is pretty gross. I don't especially like it there. The fries are okay...they are unlimited, which is nice but they start you off w/only five or six french fries. I don't eat red meat so I can't comment on their burgers but their chicken sandwiches are pretty lackluster. Also, the food comes out a little too quick for me. If you look at their kitchen, I don't even think they grill anything.

I had the $11.95 Fish and Chips yesterday. It looked great when brought to the table. Turned out to be 4 mini-loaves of breading with a table spoon of white fish incased in each. Accompanied by 8 steak fries and tub of tartar sauce. I ate 2 "loaves" brought the other 2 home and the cat wouldn't even eat the"fish". This was my second visit. The service at the initial visit was horrendous and they weren't even busy. The burgers were fair. The shakes at 4 bucks a piece weren't worth it and not even the usual cherry on top! I have now been there 3 times, the first, second and last!!!!!!

Wow, I have been to Red Robin five times now. I think their Whiskey River Burger is to die for! YUM! We always go to the Plymouth, Minnesota location and they always have had excellent service, even during the busy lunch rush. Free pop refills without even asking, as well as free fry refills. I love that they actually serve a 'medium' burger, as most places in MN only will serve a gross well-done burger. I will go back for sure!

Salem, OR. Place is jammed with noisy families. Service was O.K. for the first encounter but failed with the "endless" drinks and fries. My theory is they are successful because the adults can drink booze while they eat and have the kids there with them. Otherwise not a great experiece for me. Been there twice. Same both times. Even had to wait awhile to be seated.

Great tasting food! Unfortunately, fry portions (supposed to be bottomless) were too small and infrequent, and the service my family received was rushed. I actually emailed corporate and got a call from the restaurant Manager, who said their fries are measured. I was offered a larger portion of (bottomless) fries next time I visit, if the same Manager was there. I'm not sure I want take that gamble.

EXPENSIVE!!!!!! The onion ring stack is $8.00 for 13 rings...the burgers are $8.00 - $10.00 EACH!!!! Drinks (w free refils if you can get them) was $2.49 for a SODA!!!! We shared a burger and the meal still cost $29 for the two of us. So how was the food....just ok....for what we paid..I wanted "can't wait to go back burgers"...instead we got...Let's go to Chester's it's cheaper...The burger was not "amazing" or even "wow"... it was just a burger.....we won't go back.

I have never had a good experience here. Service is TERRIBLE. After you get your food, prepare to never see your server again, assuming he or she is actually the one bringing your food. Want refills on drinks or fries (as the menu claims)? Tough. The food is ok, but portions are small and for the price it's nothing special. Update: I visited a location in Dayton, OH a few months ago and the service there was much better. It was very busy and there were 6 at our table, but we still got very good service. Columbus restaurants of this chain are the ones with problems.

Expensive for a burger, nobody makes one that good. Bottomless fries left me deisgusted. I got 5 fries with my bruger when it came out, and by the time I got my waiter's attention, he put in the "order" for more fries, came back to pick them up, and they finally cooled off enough to eat......almot 15 minutes had passed and my burger was room temp. Here's a thought, don't be so stingy with the "Bottomless Fries", and bring enough out initially so that the odds are increased that the customer won't need more........or at least so he/she can make it halfway through the burger before needing more.

I went through a phase of eating Blue Cheeseburgers everywhere I went.  Red Robin provided the only Blue Cheeseburger that I was truly disappointed with.  I think it was the fried onion straws that ruined it for me.  I remember being thoroughly unimpressed.  I gave it two stars, instead of one, because the service was friendly.

To Mascat:I dont know if you remember leaving this comment on this page or not, but I had to comment to you. I work at a Red Robin and Im sorry that you had a terrible experience. Sometimes people who come in to eat dont realize that there server can be busy and not just ignoring them. While yes bad servers sometimes do ignore there guest, good ones dont. I cant count the number of times that someone has gotten angry at me because they think that Im ignoring them, but really I have 7 other tables with at least 3 people at each needing my attention. There is only one of me and at least 20 guest. Serving is a tuff job! And treating a server like a servent isnt very nice!!! I think everyone should go and work in a resturant as a server so they can understand better. This isnt ment to offend anyone but I just felt I needed to say my peace on the topic as a server.

I have driven past this place a million times and never thought to stop in. I didn't realize Red Robin was a chain restaurant, since the location next to me is located in a hotel that used to have a club, I thought it was a nightclub. We took my cousin out for lunch on her birthday Saturday afternoon (04/01/06) and were debating about where to go. She said "Do you like burgers?" and I said "Sure!" so she told me about Red Robin in Clifton, NJ. We got there fairly early so it wasn't crowded. Our server was wonderful and I wish I had gotten her name for this review. We started out with the big onion ring stack-up and some mozzerella sticks which were fantastic. I had the regular burger and my cousin had one with BBQ sauce on it, while my son had the chicken fingers basket. With all of that food, we weren't able to go for more fries but refills on our drinks were brought out to us without us even having to ask. I suggest going to the website where they have a downloadable pdf file o... Read more

I went to Red Robin for the first time in several years, and it was not as good as I remember it. Although the burger selection was extensive, and my burger was good, the overall selection is not that great. I disagree with anybody who complains about their prices. Their prices were comparable to similar offerings at other casual dining chains. I don't know if people are comparing their prices to fast food places like BK or McDonalds, but in my experience, the Red Robin prices were very reasonable. The service was not good at my visit, and as a waiter myself I understand that one bad experience doesn't necessarily mean all service will be bad. However, their staff was very young, and I got the feeling that service wouldn't be their strong point. I also noticed that the restaurant catered heavily to families with young children. They had a mascot walking around the restaurant and balloons everywhere. If I had a kid with me it might be entertaining, but for just my wife and I it was a li... Read more

The place is nice and well decorated. It's a little loud but what do you expect from a burger joint on steriods. It is a sit-down place with waitress service but the main fair is burgers. Good but expensive burgers and sandwiches with a few main dishes thrown into the mix. The frys are excellant and they are supposed to be bottomless but I was never asked if I wanted any more. The service was good but if you are on a tight budget you might want to stick with the likes of McDonald's.
