Fri Jun 22 2007"I got a bad, bad feeling my baby don't live here no more. That's alright I still got my guitar. Look out now!" Jimi at his best.

Wed Oct 04 2006An early original blues number by Hendrix that was often played on stage throughout his brief career. I wouldn't put down a 5 star for this, but it's very good indeed. What I find laughable or annoying, depending on my mood is the absolute b.s. notion of Hendrix as just some drugged out automaton, or that you can only regard him in one style. Nonsensical claptrap!- you can find all kinds of music in his work, and amongst his contemporaries in the rock world, outside of The Beatles there are very few bands or singers who could plausibly be said to be as diverse. Hendrix perhaps wasn't the greatest singer of all time but hardly the worst either, but he was a great songwriter in both music and lyrics, and you can detect blues, jazz, soul, r&b;, hard rock, proto-metal, fusion, funk, psychedelia and pop in his music, and that's just for starters...

Thu Mar 24 2005A good cut on the Blues CD but not one of Jimi's best. . .worth listening to. The whole album is blues on LSD.
