Always cooks unevenly and not enough cheese. Also crust is like sponge.

I normally don't sign up to post reviews but I've got to get this off my chest. We have been buying Red Baron Frozen Pizza for years now. It has always satisfied our needs, as far as frozen pizzas go, HOWEVER, as of this past year, something has changed. They had to have changed something in their pizzas because they are NOT the same anymore. The crust tastes like cardboard and the toppings are more sparse and less flavorful. I don't know if the economy is forcing them to cut back their portions or buy cheaper ingredients, but I sure notice something has changed, and not for the better. While they aren't as bad as Totinos or Tony's, they are down in that "cardboard" genre with those two. I'm very disappointed in Red Baron pizza these days. They have lost one of their loyal customers due to whatever cutbacks they have decided to make. Cheaper and less is NOT better in this case people.

I had this once and it was awful. I should have known better than to buy pizza made by a knighted German fighter ace.

I am astonished that Red Baron has so many good reviews, it is one of my all time most disliked frozen pizzas! It's awful. I did a taste comparison in which I tested it directly against Tombstone, original crust pepperoni to original crust pepperoni, and I could tell just by looking at the frozen pizzas alone how this story was going to end! The Red Baron pepperonis were thin and orange in color, the cheese sparse, and the overall tone a little brown and dingy looking. On the other hand the Tombstone was bright in tone, red sauce and thick, red pepperonis. The Tombstone melted and browned better and came out with a fluffier cheese and sauce texture, crispy crust edges, and a spicier sauce; while the Red Baron turned out to be crunchy, bland, but slightly sweet tasting, (and not a good kind of sweet, a bad quality kind of sweet). Anyway, long story short my boyfriend and I finished the rest of the Tombstone and threw out the rest of the Red Baron as neither of us wanted any more of i... Read more

I had a Red Baron frozen pizza last night. It tasted great, but it was a little small, although it was the singles. If you are hungry get more than one. Overall, Red Baron is very good.

Red Barron combination pizza is okay, it takes me back to the days when that was really the best frozen pizza available, and my grandma would make it some times for a quick snack. A lot has changed over the years. But for some reason, i do not like the Mexican style pizza at all! The sauce has a synthetic fake flavor taste to it and was disappointed. i threw away a lot of it. 1 star for the Mexican style, and 3 stars for the classic combination pizza.

Very good pizza. Good cheese and good crust. In my opinion, It's better than DiGiorno.

After a long night of banging nothing beats throwing a Red Barron in the oven, it hits the spot. The pizzas are loaded with cheese and toppings and the crust is excellent.

Ok, I've been reading the frozen pizza reviews on here and there is something I need to get off my chest about some of my fellow posters. If you are going to post a rant on here about how pizza should not be frozen, please take it somewhere else. The topic is NOT how frozen pizza sucks, it is to compare (in this case) Red Baron frozen pizza to OTHER FROZEN PIZZAS. Perhaps in Degiorno's case it might be acceptable because they base their advertising campaign around "it's not delivery", but I've read the same anti frozen pizza rants in almost all the frozen pizza review sections. Give it a rest already. Some of these reviewers are in the "Top 50" or "Top 10", or whatever. Top 10 of what? Top 10 unhelpful reviews?? Gah! These same reviewers then call Domino's, Pizza Hut, and Papa John's as the "Best"??? I doubt that these reviewers have EVER put a REAL pizza in their mouth, almost every town in America has a mom and pop run pizzaria that serves a better pie than the big chai... Read more

The "Nike" of frozen pizza. Lower priced cardboard...up to higher priced (rising crust) which compares well with others.

I was losing faith in frozen pizzas...but Red Baron gives me hope. My moms had some coupons so she bought some 3 meat pizzas. The crust is thin and crisy, with sausage, canadian bacon and pepperoni toppings. It tastes great, really good especially for a frozen pizza.

Red baron's think crust pizza is actually quite alright. The crust is somewhat moist and crispy with the right ballance of ingrediencts (supreme) although too much sauce underneath. Overall a good frozen pizza. Deffinately above tombstone or jack's.

It has very good Pepperonis and the cheese is pretty good, but there's too much sauce and the crust is lacking.

What ever happened to the Red Baron brand Mexican Style pizza? For about a nanosecond they were everywhere: Walmart, Giant Eagle, even Marc's. Then they disappeared. Why? The same thing is going on with Squirt (a very good soft drink). The best tasting and most digestible store-bought pizza I ever tried. Just add a dose of fresh chopped onion and you have yourself a healthy meal. Crispy and good. Please don't let that one get away.

The Red Baron frenchbread pizzas are not awful, but not in the same class as Stouffers. They're a little too sweet or something...

Tastes ok. FYI it is a pizza made by Schwan's. Schwan's has pizza's that are better than Red Baron even though Schwan's owns them.

Their French bread pizza is much worse than Stouffer's. Crust is rock hard, toppings are skimpy, sauce is sickly sweet, and the whole thing just tastes like an artificial substitute for food rather than the real thing.

I was shocked when I recently ate this forzen pie. It was crispy (hard to find) and pleasing to the palate. Three cheese and pepperoni thin crust are both very good. No more parlors for me.

I generally can't stand frozen pizza-pizza is my fave food and you just can't equal a pizzeria and it's so easy to just pick one up but I do keep the frozen one around for the rainy day and of all the frozen one's I have ever had Tombstone and Essensia are the only ones that were alright and the only one's that I will ever get. Red Barron is awful. In fact, of all frozen pizzas that I've tried RB and Tony's are the absolute worst: rock hard thin crusts, thick sickly sweet sauces...I could have done just fine without the experiences.

The Mexican style Red Baron Pizza is good stuff. One of my favorite frozen Pizza's. The quality is great considering the price. I went to the store they had a sale going , a really good sale, Red Baron pizza for $1.89 ya that is right $1.89 for a 16-18 oz pizza. In my home town I can always find it on sale, alot of the time I can get them for under $3.00 how can a person go wrong?

For a frozen pizza, it's pretty darn expensive. They seem to skimp on the cheese too; I end up having to buy my own to put on it. I like the taco style pizza, though.

I love pizza! So for me, when it’s just not possible to get out and visit my local pizzeria, then I head for the oven. Red Barron Pizza’s get two thumbs up from me when it comes to frozen pizza. Not that frozen pizza’s are usually anything to get excited about, but the three cheeses version of the Red Barron Pizza is a great substitute for going out when that pizza craving hits.

Has a very sweet, unlikeable taste to it, and they give you a very small portion.
