Fri Jan 15 2010Good job folks. I see that grizz made it to the top. I was worried for a second.

Fri Jan 15 2010Design and content gets five stars. The amount of work that went into the project gets six stars (it's like turning the volume up to 11 in Spinal Tap). But it doesn't end there, "Worst of the Decade" and "Time Capsule" are yet to come. What knocked it back down to five stars was my dismay at Tom Cruise for 1)winning in Best Actors and 2)not winning in Most Annoying Celebrities. Oh well, there's always next decade.

Fri Jan 15 2010What a Decade... From Y2K, to the iPhone, to Kid A, to The Lord of the Rings, to the historic election of President Obama, the 2000s were a heck of a ride. And then of course there were the difficult events. 9/11. The Iraq War. The global economic melt down. The passing of beloved public figures. And throughout it all - from January 1, 2000 to December 31, 2009 - RateItAll has been online capturing the pulse of public opinion. Now it's time to document the decade. Without further ado, we present RateItAll's Best of the Decade Awards! Check out the Product & Culture winners and stay tuned in the coming weeks for more.

Thu Jan 14 2010Fun project, and the team worked really hard. A lot of late nights went into sizing images, writing copy, busting fan club / cheaters, and otherwise pulling together nearly 500 winners. We could have gone deeper too - there are plenty of great lists with deep data that would have been worthy additions. We just ran out of time. I'll bump this to five stars if we get a little buzz for all of the hard work.

Thu Jan 14 2010Nice work here, RateItAll. Entertaining, informative, and I'm sure it doesn't hurt the corporate image or bottom line. But..... Someone needs to start pimpslapping 90 per cent of the cigar reviewers. When the top three are Black and Mild, Philly Blunts and Swisher Sweets, it makes me think its time to send for Fidel and his cane knife.

Thu Jan 14 2010Count me as happy to have not seen anything about Joan Jett or Eddie Van Halen on that crap.

Thu Jan 14 2010These were really interesting to read through, and I think that for the most part, the winners seem about right. On the other hand, there were some winners that were so ludicrous that it's a good reminder of how much an internet fan club or myspace and facebook users can be on a site like this. The most ludicrous winners in my opinion: The Fauxhawk under men's haircuts, and Billy Gillman under Country Musicians.

Thu Jan 14 2010Just take a look at the dog food category and you'll see that the majority of the dog food reviewers are retards, first rated ass-holes who know nothing about dogs and can't read labels. I know that because I'm one of them too.

Thu Jan 14 2010There were some surprises and some predictable choices. It looked very nice too. I simply cannot see a picture of Bush without thinking of that scene in Animal House when they were considering pledges and they threw all the cans at the screen once Flounder's face appeared..

Thu Jan 14 2010This was really fun to read through. Under US Politicians and Officials, I'm surprised some of the worst I can think of Hillary Clinton, George Bush, and Al Gore are the winners.....jesus christ...what is this world coming to. Anyway, I was happy to see George Carlin and John Ritter as two of the most mourned celebrities. Billy Mays could've replaced Michael Jackson. Also, I guess my 5 star rating of Billy Zabka didn't help him in the actor category. But I'm probably going to go on that news babes list a lot more...I forgot about that one.
