I've gone to this clinic for years. The Doctors are great, if you can get past the front office staff. Once, I made an appointment, no one bothered to write it down. I was made to wait until ALL patients were seen, and treated like I lied about having an appointment. Too many times staff treated me (and my family) badly, we won't go back. It's a shame, they are loosing business for some good, caring Doctors.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I went to the Rainbow Medical center. It was one of the worst medical examinations in my life. Bad service. Bad staff. Bad doctor. I was there two hours, only saw the doctor about two minutes, and didn't even get what I needed. All I got from there was a bill of about $175 and the feeling that I was a victim of predjudice. The doctors just want to see as many pacients as they can and make as much money as they can. Do yourself a favor and avoid the Rainbow Medical Center.

My very first visit I was kept waiting for 45 minutes after my appointment. I downloaded the registration papers from their website and had them filled out when I got there. I was asked to fill out more forms... the same ones I just turned in. I refused. in the exam room, Dr. Lewis gave me a whole 3 minutes of his time because I did not need anything except med. refills. He did not want to know my history or anything else. He ordered a EKG and lab work. The nurse came in to do the EKG and had to figure out how to hook the machine up. after 3 tries she got one she liked. After the EKG she said she would be right back for the labs and with my prescriptions... 25 minutes later I opened the exam door to see people putting on their sweaters. One nurse... not mine... looked at me like I had 2 heads and asked if she could help me... THEY FORGOT I WAS THERE AND WERE ABOUT TO LEAVE.... The nurse could not find my chart... once found they realized that the Doctor did not sign the prescription... Read more

Don't bother with this place. It's so over- saturated with patients there is no way to get proper care, or face time with the doctor. If you have insurance they will charge you double or triple and keep making you come back for no reason other than to get more money. I could hear the doctor take out and read my labs at the door before coming in. Not prepared at all. I got no diagnosis and no care, not even a recomendation to take over-the-counter meds for pain. This was a complete waste of my time and money. Meanwhile I'm still in pain searching for another doctor who will do something other than rob me. Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else.

Every time I try to get an appointment at Rainbow Medical Center North, if I am not disconnected, I am put on hold for at least 10 minutes, when they finally take me off hold, I am interrupted, the scheduler is horribly unprofessional and rude, as is the whole front office. One time, I was made to wait for 2 hours in the waiting room, then another 1 hour in the exam room, with no one coming in to check on me. If they do have an x-ray and a lab on site, they have never been used on me. Dr. Lewis is a fine doctor, very kind and compassionate, but he has lost patients because of his staff.

I agree with the gentleman's opinon that an overweight, smoking staff does not exactly exude a healthy image. The other commentor has no idea what they are talking about. Of course the doctor is going to need to see you in order to be sure your doing ok on your medicine, and that you don't need your dosage changed. There would be lawsuits galore if doctors just handed out pills like candy to any moron that wants it. Why did you let your meds run out anyway? It's not the doctor's fault that you can't properly manage your own healthcare. How do you expect the doctor to stay in business? Blaming the front office for the policies is retarded, it is up to the doctor, as well as the medical board how he handles prescriptions. How else can he keep a handle on drug-seeking fools like you that wants something for nothing? Get a life.

Dr. Lewis would get 4-5 stars if it weren't for the front office staff at Rainbow Med. on Lone Mountain. the women at the front desk are grossly unprofessional and inept. Expect a 10-20 wait on hold just to make an appointment...that is if they don't just disconnect you. The physical appearance of the overwieght, tatooed staff does nothing to send a message of "wellness", expecially when they're standing out in front of the offices having a cigarette break. Someone needs to explain to these women that taking a six month course on how to file records and putting on a smock does not make them professionals.......

DANIEL LEWIS'S STAFF NOT TOO SURE ABOUT. THEY LET YOUR REFILLS RUN OUT AND INSIST YOU COME IN TO SEE THE DR. POLICY TO STRICT. THEY COULD HAVE GIVEN A 30-DAY REFILL WITH A DR. VISIT'S SCHEDULED. BUT NO..... THEY INSISTED I HOME IN, GET A NEW THYROID PRESCRIPTION WHEN I AM DIZZY AND SICK WITH THE FLU. THEY GAVE ME A 5-DAY ORDER OF MEDICINE AND WILL NOT REFILL ANYMORE UNTIL I SEE THE DR. (OR UNTILL HE GETS $175.00 FOR A NEW DOCTORS VISIT). IT'S A SCAM. DISAPPOINTED THAT SUCH A GREAT DOCTOR HAS SUCH POOR OFFICE POLITICS.
