I never worked with an interior designer before, but I knew we needed some help. A friend of mine had worked with Kera Martin at Race Design and was happy with the results (I saw her house, it looked great!). I decided to just go for the consultation and take it from there. Kera Martin came over and in just under 3 hours, she gave us a complete plan to totally transform our house. (We are do-it-yourself types). We got started on the project and ran into some issues. I called Kera and she gave me some good suggestions over the phone. When it came to purchasing materials, I called again, and Race Design was able to get our flooring, carpet, countertop, and faucets for around 20% less than anywhere else, including online! The project is done now (thank goodness) and we love it. I am definitely convinced that an interior designer is necessary when you tackle home projects. We highly recommend Kera Martin at Race Design.

I thought we were going to have to replace the entire carpet in our house after the water heater leaked. We worked with Kera Martin at Race Design, Inc. when we were building our house so I called her for help. She was able to go back in her files and find the name of the manufacturer and style of the carpet. I called the local store but they didn't have it anymore. Ms. Martin got in touch with the distributor and found out that they had changed the style name and that it was still available. She ordered a sample for us and the color matched perfectly! We were able to get the carpet for just the one room. Kera did all this work for us without charging us a dime. She said it was "client service". I'll say! That was the best service I ever got. Race Design is wonderful to work with.

We've been working with Race Design on our house for a couple of months and everything they recommended to us has been just right. Our contractor gave us a list of places to go for carpet and lights, etc. I mentioned this to our designer, Kera Martin and she told me Race Design could purchase these things for us and probably save us some money. Well, that was an understatement, They got us a HUGE discount, and I mean, we saved thousands. Wow! Now I can buy some furniture too!

We only wanted to buy a few new pieces and basically just use what we already had. Kera Martin came over and totally re-arranged the house. She put the downstairs chairs upstairs, the upstairs desk downstairs, etc. It didn't even look like the same house! Kera was so creative I couldn't believe it. I feel like I have a new home. If you are tired of your furniture but can't afford to replace it, call Race Design and tell them you want a makeover. You will be amazed!

My real estate agent told me to get my condo "staged" in order to sell it quickly. I didn't even know what that meant. She told me to call Race Design. I was not too excited about having someone go through my stuff and tell me what to get rid of. I'm happy to say I was very surprised at how Miss Martin handled the whole thing. She was very professional and it turned out to be fun. I moved a lot of extra furniture out (got rid of some junk too) and the house looked great. I wish I had her come over while I was living there! Anyway, my place sold in two weeks, even in this down market. I'm definitely going to have Kera Martin come to set up my new place. It's worth it!

I've been wanting to paint my house for awhile, but I just couldn't get the colors right. I called Race Design, and Kera Martin came over for a color consultation. I'm not kidding, in two hours she picked out colors for the whole house that all worked together. I had been struggling with it for months! Actually, she picked the colors so quickly that we had time left over to look at some fabrics and furniture selections I had made to see how they would all work. My house looks so good, I can't believe it. Call Race Design, you will be happily surprised.

I didn't have a lot of money to re-do the kitchen and family room. I wanted to use some of the things I already had and also get some nice new ones. Kera Martin was great. She really understood my needs and didn't try to talk me into buying a lot of stuff I didn't need. I got a great deal from her on flooring and counter tops. She also gave me tips on places to shop to save money. We just re-covered the couch instead of buying a new one and even got drapes made to match! I would highly recommend Race Design if you are trying to remodel on a budget.

We were getting ready to sell our house and thought we knew how to make it look good. It didn't sell for 2 months, not even a nibble. We called Race Design and they came over the next day and worked with us on how to re-arrange our furniture and artwork. They also told us what items to remove and how to make our house look better with lighting and other accessories. We contacted our real estate agent and she came over and loved it. We held an open house to show it off and a week later we got a great offer! Thanks Race Design, you are the best!
