Sun Feb 20 2011I WAS RIPPED-OFF BY QVC. I ORDERED OJON HAIR THICKENING SPRAY THE 4TH, MY BANK ACCOUNT WAS CHARGED ON THE 7TH AND I NEVER RECEIVED MY ORDER, IT IS THE 20TH. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE ON THE 17TH BY THE LATEST. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER 5 TIMES LAST WEEK, THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME A TRACKING NUMBER FOR MY PACKAGE AND REFUSED TO ISSUE ME A REFUND. I JUST WONDER OW MANY MILLIONS OF PEOPLE AVE PAID FOR MERCHANDISE AT QVC AND NEVER RECEIVED THEM!!?!! IF YOU ORDER FROM QVC DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK! I FOUND CHEAPER PRICE ON AMAZON AND THEY ACTUALLY DELIVER THEIR PRODUCTS, WHAT A CONCEPT!

Tue Feb 01 2011QVC less than 1 star!!! I ordered ceramic prep and serve dishes, they arrive all broken in a million pieces. I called and they wanted me to ship all the broken pieces back to them. I told the rude rep that he could get his booty out here and pack that up, I AM NOT RISKING CUTTING MYSELF FOR QVC!! This was a yelling match, demanding my money back and asking for a manager which he refused to get me. I hung up on him called back got someone else! This gets better, they said if any of it was in one piece to keep that piece and they would refund me for the other broken ones by pro-rating how many pieces would be kept. WTF!!?? Ok, I said, so all the pieces are broken except a lid, I can keep that, getting refunded for all the other pieces but being pro-rated for the freakin lid. OMG, LMAO!! What the hell am I going to do with a lid that I have no bottom to?? I will never shop there again and feel people who do are out of touch with the times now, Why would you shop there when everywher... Read more

Sun Aug 01 2010I wanted to give them less than one star! I buy on-line frequently. I've never had a problem with anything. If it was broken or not right-- customer service for the sites I buy from-- are friendly and accomodating. I ordered for the first and the last time from QVC. I had been looking for some bright body pillows for my little daughters room. There they were on QVC. . . I ordered purple and they sent me orange. I thought it would be simple to contact them and make an exchange. The invoice showed I had ordered purple. They have been rude on the phone and are threatening to make me pay the postage to re-ship the product. When I explained to their service rep-- I shouldn't be charged for a problem which should be their responsibility -- she curtly told me -- "It's not MY problem!" No it's not HER problem-- HER problem would require therapy and pills. Sorry I caused her so much stress by returning those ugly orange pillows. Maybe she can recycle them for toilet paper.... Mon May 17 2010I've shopped at QVC for twenty years. They've changed alot since the original founder of the company left. I recently purchased a necklace which I felt was not a good value for the price. Online, I submitted a review giving the item two stars which equals "fair". I just received an email from QVC stating that they have reviewed my "review of the product" and although they cannot state why they will not post my review for the product on their website that my review did not fit their quidelines. The other reviews which have been posted for the product on QVC's website all have five stars which = excellent. Hmmmmm. I suspect that QVC is filtering their customer's reviews so as not to discourage further sales of the product. So, shoppers on QVC's website can no longer depend on the "average" rating of an item to help them determine value and quality. Very sad and dishonest business practice.

Thu Mar 04 2010I love the QVC... on March 13th at 2pm my favorite beauty gadget is going to be featured! The Silk'n Sensepil is an at home laser like permanent hair removal device and I predict it will do VERY well on the QVC, especially because it is one of the hottest products to hit the market in hair removal! It is something I am going to buy it for my sisters because it saves so much money on laser and waxing, it only costs $499 compared to the thousands that all of us spend on shaving/waxing. Make sure you watch for the amazing product on the 13th at 2pm!

Fri Jul 24 2009I had to do a service call for some lady the other day because QVC kept dropping out. I'm wondering what's up with this lady if QVC rates a service call.

Fri Jul 24 2009The other day, I came across QVC, and they were advertising that NutriSystem Diet. I just watched for a minute because my friend's girlfriend went on the diet. The QVC host was displaying the spaghetti w/meatballs and the NutriSystem lady was displaying sweet n sour chicken. The sweet n sour chicken looked exactly the same as the spaghetti w/meatballs.

Sun May 31 2009QVC used to be a good place to shop. They had decent quality and did a good job. Fast forward to 2009 - they sell marginal quality product, ship like a snail, and completely totally deceive their customers about their return policy(send it back within 30 days, no questions asked). If you return in excess of their preset limit, you will be canned. Cancelled. Blacklisted. Blackballed. Doesn't matter if they send junk that wouldn't sell in a second hand flea market. You're toasted. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Fri May 29 2009very very very very terrible I ordered or should i say my husband ordered a diamonique ephiphany ring for me for mothers day. He ordered it a couple days before mothers day and my edd was 5/13/09. When it did not arrive a week after he called and they said he had up to the 26. Today is the 29 and its still not here and everytime i called the customer service rep comment is always "i'm sorry". Whats up with that? When they took the money from my card all they said was"thank you". I work hard for my money so now that you have it can i at least say thank you. You guys need to step up your game or get the hell off my television.

Sat May 09 2009i ordered a total gym with qvc on 4-27-09, when i spoke with the host, they stated that my EDD was 5-5-09. they were fast with withdrawing the money from my bank account (that same night). it is now 5-09-09 and i still have not recieved the item. i then went to UPS.com to check on the tracking number, they said that the payment went through but that the item has not even been shipped to ups for delivery. i called qvc and was told "IM SORRY" it must have got lost in the mail. i stated how can a 80+lb item get lost in the mail? i then told them that i have visited ups.com, they fastly changed their story. we will refund your money or we can put you on the waiting list for when we get some more in... WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP QVC IS! NEVER WILL I ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN!!!!!!!

Sat Jul 19 2008The hosts seem nice when they talk to customers live but when you call them they have the worst customer service
by scarletfeather
Fri Jun 20 2008I don't buy anything, but I enjoy the enthusiasm of the hosts. Jeez, how do they get excited about an iron or a cheesy piece of jewelry?! That they get paid probably helps. I need to change the channel when they start talking about beauty products, because that's when I am tempted to buy.UPDATE: Everything is on 5 payments on Easy Pay today! I just ordered a boatload of beauty products. Can't wait for the UPS man to arrive with his big ole package of goodies in a few days.

Fri Oct 19 2007QVC is now evaluating the number of returns made by customers. If your number exceeds the average then you receive a nasty letter. They threaten to cancel your QVC shopping privileges and they will terminate their business relationship. Their host should mention this policy when they talk about the 30 day unconditional return policy. I will never purchase from QVC again!!!

Tue Dec 05 2006Not bad clothes, jewelry stinks, much better jewelry on Shop NBC or best on Gem Shopping Network, plus, you usually get educated in gemstones etc at the same time. I suppose it fills a need, I turn to the shopping channels during regular commercials because if I am going to watch someone trying to sell me something it is going to be some beautiful 5 carat Kunzite ring rather than toilet cleaner!!

Thu Mar 02 2006I first ordered from QVC in December 2005. I spent about $800.00 in first month. I was sent an email telling me that I would receive Free Shipping on my next order as a Thank You. The Free Shipping link did not take off the shipping as it was supposed to so I phoned them. They said that they do not have that offer in my account & they were sorry, but yet they emailed me the offer. They did nothing to rectify it, just said "sorry". After it taking over 10 days to receive my orders each time, plus this I decided to stop buying from them. I called to cancel my auto-delivery's & she asked why i was cancelling. I simply said "I do not want them". She told me I was Crazy for not wanting them & I let her know that I wasn't too thrilled with their company & could get all of the products elsewhere. I also told her about the Free Shipping incident which she also replied "sorry". nothing further. If you want to wait a very long time for your orders & do not care too much about good customer servi... Read more

Wed Oct 26 2005This channel is for dopey, fat housewives that piss away their money on cheaply made garbage. It should be called The Lemming Channel.

Wed Oct 12 2005Funny, but in a real sad way. Yes, it's funny to watch them sell crummy "jewlrey" worth 5 cents for $19.99 to dimwitted fools, but it is sad when you realize just how lonley their "customers" are.

Tue Oct 04 2005I guess it fills a need. Once in a while I watch and I am tempted to buy the Portugese silver cupcake pan, of which only 23 are left, but I resist.

Wed Aug 24 2005Their shipping times and shipping charges are terrible. I ordered some clothing for vacation and since I was leaving in two days, I chose the shipping option of overnight air. QVC's shipping charges are very expensive compared to most but it was worth it to pay the additonal $30.00. When my items didn't arrive the following day, I looked online at my order status and it showed the order was still in progress. I called QVC and they told me QVC doesn't have overnight shipping and that it takes a few days to process the order. What the heck does overnight air mean??? It's very deceiving.

Tue Jun 07 2005This is amazing that people will actually watch a channel for days, just to spend money. I mean they show each item for like half an hour before moving on the next one. I think it's boring, and ridiculous. Actually it may be aimed at those elderly who are bedridden and don't know how else to spend their money.

Tue Aug 05 2003i dont have money to buy them things

Fri Jun 06 2003Just as bad as HSN. Maybe worse. Why don't the lazyass droolers in the American heartland who watch this crap just drag themselves out of the recliner chair and mosey their bloated, corpulent carcasses down to the shopping mall if they want to buy useless junk? After all, going to the mall to engage in conspicuous consumption is a low-yield form of exercise, and most of these morbidly obese "real Americans" need to burn off some calories in a big way.

Tue Jun 03 2003It's the most goddamn funny network on TV. I feel sorry for those abused, mindless children that have to sit there and advertize the product without talking.

Sat May 03 2003I have bought from QVC since 1989. One of my favorite hosts was Kathy Levine, like many of you have said. I fell in love with Kathy's ring and it's my own "signature piece". You can't just sit there and watch every show or you'd go insane. I used to be very selective about which shows I watch. I really liked Jane Rudolph-Treacy and Silver Savings, Joan Rivers, and my favorite of favorites was Gary and his Boyds Bears. QVC is a very large operation that is making money "hand over fist", as my mom used to say. Yes, the hosts have changed and I miss Kathy. They really lost a good host when she left. Before you Speed Buy something, take a moment and check the total amount that you'd be paying, like s/h & tax. It's entertaining and a lot of people love it; they're not forcing anyone to buy anything, evenn though it may sound that way sometimes. I like the wide variety of shows that they have. However, they can keep Nascar & "Suze Orman's Financial Freedom". Overall though, a ve... Read more

Tue Apr 15 2003What I have not seen anyone mention is the S&H that is charged for each and every item you buy. But you do save on S&H if you buy 2 or more of the same item. Just know that the item might start out being 14.95 but by the time it gets to your door it's more like closer to 25.95
by sml41474
Sun Mar 09 2003QVC is great for purchases but try to return an item! They can take 17 days or more to begin to process your return and thereafter credit. Make sure to document your return or you will be out of luck. Purchases are fast, returns are slow. Sometimes they just don't get it
by jason1972
Thu Jan 23 2003Like HSN, it's a waste of time.

Sat Jan 18 2003I really believe QVC has gone down hill since Kathy Levine left the show. She was one of the MAIN reasons I watched QVC. None of the other hosts do it for me. She really knew how to get people interested in what she was selling. I almost never not bought something when she was the hostess. She was funny, she was friendly, she was easy two watch ... she was entertaining. I really really miss her.
by wasashopper
Sun Nov 17 2002QVC has gone DOWN HILL! Hosts are snobs, with a very few exceptions! They don't reply to email questions abot a bad product and this bothers. The bigger they get, the harder they are to contact. No longer a nice place to shop!

Thu Nov 14 2002When I need to fall asleep as fast as possible, I can turn it over on this channel and VOILA! Pleasant dreams!
by joey1963
Mon Aug 05 2002Come on...It must be hard for poor Joan Rivers, Marie Osmond and Richard Simmons to have to sit in a studio and sell cheap jewelry, dolls and diets and make thousands of dollars off of people who think they need these things to make their lives better...and hosts who tell them that they MUST have these things before they sell out. They get a two because they are a bit more classy than HSN which has its own problems. Liked it much more when Kathy Levin was a host!

Wed Mar 20 2002Well I guess if credit card use is like heroin to you you need this channel. And these people know how to make a cubic zirconia look like a million bucks.

Wed Apr 04 2001QVC is boring as hell, it puts me to sleep at night, is that a good sign?
by castlebee
Wed Apr 04 2001I use to order things from them and have to say the service was pretty good. However, what I really like to do now is check in once in awhile during commercials for other shows (especially aroung the holidays) to see any new items and listen to a little of their schpeel about it. Then, if I'm interested, I either get on the internet or head to my favorite stores to see if I can find it cheaper and minus Shipping & Handling. I usually can. Not bad as a handy reference tool.
