Propaganda Tattoo

I was just in this past Saturday to have blaze work on some plumerias on my shoulder. They turned out AMAZING. The best work I've had done yet, and I will continue to go back to him and this shop. Great welcoming environment, also fun! I will highly reccomend this shop to everyone I know!

Chris gave me my first tattoo and he did a great job. He's very professional and an excellent artist. I was a bit nervous about getting a tattoo, but he talked to me like a guy getting a tattoo rather than acting condescendingly. in fact, every time I talked to him, and the other artists at Propaganda, there was a geniune feeling of concern, like they appreciated my business and wanted me to leave as a satisfied customer. I highly recommend Propaganda, and especially Chris. LOVE the tattoo!

My stepmom and I went to Propaganda for memorial tattoos for my papa who just recently passed. We heard about the place through a friend and Im very glad we did. The artists there were very personable and talented and gave my stepmom and I exactly what we wanted. I got a crimson clover and my stepmom got a wizard and as they are healing they just get more and more beautiful every day. I had Blaze do my clover and Thad did the wizard and they both did an incredible job. I plan to go back next month with my sister for her to get her memorial tattoo and Im getting a lily done for my grama who has also passed. These are a great bunch of guys.

The guys at Proganda are HOT, but better yet they are the BEST at what they do! The artwork was legit and they took their time to give you what you want. It is some of the best work I've seen. I will totally go back when I get my next tat!

I was referred to these guys by my barber and I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism, peronal attention, and artist merit these guys have. I walked in today and got another tattoo. Joe (aka: Grizzley Joe) at the Point Loma location was the one who helped me. He was professional, personable, very creative and a top professional Tattoo Artist. These are things anyone wants when they go get ink. Anyway, I was not disappointed by the crew and my new tat is good, really good! I highly recommend you check these guys out before going ahead and getting your ink done somewhere else. The prices are good, service excellent, and the atmosphere in the studio is amazing. This was my first tattoo as I got a set of 4 paws down the side of my ribs. Everyone told me to expect it to be a little on the painful side as I picked a place to get my first tattoo that was mainly a bony area. Chris Primm was my artist and he had such a light touch that I barely felt anything! It was no walk in the park, but by the end of it, I was starting to fall asleep. It was such a great experience and took no time at all!

I followed Joe Arden in to the Voltaire shop to finish up a stellar Scarecrow tat on my left shoulder (like a one third sleeve). I was already pretty stoked about him because he's just a fun guy and a great artist, so I was pleased to find out it seems like all the rest of the artists are pretty similar. The whole place has a relaxed and personal atmosphere. It's perhaps a bit small and old, but unless you're working there for several hours a day, it's not an issue. Kinda adds charm in fact. If you're there certain times of the day you get massacred with fresh baked doughnut smell, too. Good place. Go get some ink.

I was referred to the college area Propaganda by a friend who got a rad tattoo by Zoger. I went in with a vauge idea of what I wanted and I explained it to him (Zoger). He sat down with me and took 2 hours drawing different designs until we got the one I liked. We busted out my Mer-man tattoo and it looks GREAT!!!! I'll never go anywhere else for my tattoos.

The best in business. I love Propaganda Tattoo. I went to this shop because it is close to my school. I got a great tattoo from Travis the bear. He knew exactly what I wanted with just a short description. If you want a great tattoo from some really nice guys then go to Propaganda.

Walked in and immediately was greated by a friendly staff. Not your typical "I am so cool, dont bother me" attitude that you get at other shops. My girlfriend and I went to two other shops in the area and it seemed like they didnt even want to talk to us so when we went into Propaganda it felt really comfortable. I really like the artwork on the walls and Johnny and Zogger did amazing tattoos. It was cool because we were both able to get our tattoos at the same time. They took our idea and made it into a beautiful piece of artwork. I wouldnt go anywhere else

Chris really took time to find what I wanted. You dont get the "what are you doing here if you dont know" Very professional .I will recomend them to friends.

I go to SDSU and have alot of choices for tattoo parlors in the area. My friend and I went to 4 or 5 shops in the area before walking in to Propaganda. Their shop is the nicest and cleanest looking for sure and they guys who work there are not scary at all. In fact everyone was really nice. My tattoo was of scripture on my side, it really hurt but it came out beautiful and I get compliments on it all the time. I can't wait to show it off at the beach. I even got an email follow up a few days later asking how my tattoo was doing and to call or email them back with questions. Thanks Propaganda, You Guys are the ones that ROCK!!. LOL

Guys are friendly, helped me through my first tattoo. Did the job well, offered free touchups, professional, reasonably priced. They're active in the community - a dude with apparent mental disabilities came in to get a CD burned while I was in there. Just a good place.

i went up and down visiting several tattoo shops in the area, and when i walked into propaganda, it was nothing but professionalism, and smiles. They were the only shop that took time to hear what work i wanted, and the only one who through ideas at me, and didn't ask me to bring in "EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED LIKE SOME ARTISTS" Johnny Blaze did a great job, very cool, and talented. Propaganda Tattoo is an awesome place to go for a tattoo. I got my first tattoo, a japanese symbol for eternity, a week or so ago there and it was a great experience. Everything is so clean and the guys are really cool. Shawn did my tattoo and he was great, made sure i was comfortable. He is very talented and I couldn't have asked for more with my first tattoo! I DEFINITELY reccommend Propaganda to anyone interested in getting a tattoo!!

My sister and I came in knowing what we wanted and Teer took my iea and made it better than I imagined. The shop was super clean and everybody was great. They talked to me during the tattoo so I wouldn't be nervous. I am definately coming back!!!

I had a basic idea of what I wanted and I brought it in to Blaze in the College Area shop. He drew exactly what I wanted and a few days later, I got the nicest tat ever. All my friends are telling me they wish they went to Blaze. He did a great job. The shop is really nice and big, really clean and next to a bar, so I was able to go for a drink afterwards. Shaun is a great tattoo artist and propaganda is a great tattoo shop. When I got to the parlor I was greeted by the nicest guys. I didnt feel stupid or like I was bothering the guys (like I have at other shops in the area). Shaun actually made me feel right at home and did a drawing for me on the spot. He took his time explaining the process of the tattoo and how to take care of my new tattoo. I am going back to the shop next week to get my second tattoo. Its official, I am addicted to tattoos and to propaganda.

I went here and got my foot touched up. They were so nice and did an excelent job. I live in sac but haven't found anyone up here as good as they are. I will come back for the rest of my tattoos.

No matter what kind of style or artwork you looking for propaganda can provide it. Every tattoo artist in the joint is exceptional. I personally have Sergio do all my work, he is the small funny brazilian man lol but coolest guy ever. All my art work is color and i've never seen color turn out the way mine has and all my friends have color but no like mine. Over all the guys here are down to earth and funny, you dont feel like you just walked into a parolee office, but a nice tattoo shop right next to the beach, ask for sergio

All I can say is wow, these guys are really professional and very talented. I would recommend Propaganda Tattoo to all my friends for sure. Very clean and definately the best shop in San Diego. Can't wait for my next tat. Eric is the best

I am from Alabama and was visiting San Diego for a few days. I have gotten 3 smaller tats in Bama, none were terrible but none super impressive either. I decided a while back I wanted a piece on my arm that would really pop and that people noticed, however I really couldn't decide what I wanted. I also wanted to get it somewhere other than home. I saw San Diego as that chance so I did some researching on line and settled on Propaganda. About 2 weeks before coming, I contacted Sergio at Propaganda and explained I wanted a tattoo with some Christian symbols and overtone but really didn't know what I wanted as I have no creative/artistic ability. Sergio got back in touch with me (after a few days and phone calls) and told me some ideas he had working. I told him put it on paper and e-mail it to me. He came up with an awesome piece. If you want to get an excellent Tattoo in a friendly environment this is the place. I have had two tattoos from this shop and they both look better than any of my other work. I recently brought in a design with intricate line work and could not be happier with the work that Eric did. The attitude in the shop will make you feel as if your getting a tattoo with a bunch of friends. There is even a circus bear eating animal crackers.

Ok, after thinking about a tattoo for literally years I got up enough nerve to just do it. I read a ton about the process, selection and places to do it and Propoganda had the most positive reviews out there. I went in and met Chris. Awesome guy with a great artistic skill. I let him know that this was my first time and he took care of everything. We did an armband that extends all the way around. Surprisingly it wasn't nearly as painful as I thought it would be. Of couse the sensitive inner part of your arm was a bit more tender, but that's what I expected. After about 2 hours, I had an awesome design that I totally love. I didn't see Chris' name on their website, but I'd highly recommend him. If I decide to go for more, Chris is definitely my choice and Propoganda definitley lived up to all of the recommendations I read on line.

I got my second tattoo done here by Sergio & it was amazing. It turned out way beyond my expectations that I came back about 3 days later to add to it. I absolutely love my tattoo that I'm looking to get another one done. Sergio is wonderful; he's so experienced, professional, & knowledgeable. Sergio has super crazy skills. He knows what he's doing and made me feel super comfortable. Teer tattooed my boyfriend and i must say that he has some crazy skills, too because my boyfriend's tattoo came out quite nicely. Teer and Sergio rock my socks!! He didn't pressure me into getting anything that I didn't want & he was ready & willing to help me with every aspect of my tattoo. Everyone at this shop is so chill and the vibe is super kicked back. Everyone talks with everyone and everyone is friendly. This place has received 5 stars consistently, all well deserved. This tattoo shop is awesome. I came here because Eric moved here from Above All Tattoo in PB. Eric has done two Tattoos on me and I have recomended him to all my friends wanting tattoo. They have had great experiences with him and with Propaganda. Eric is a true artist not just a tattooer, he took an idea of mine and turned it into an amazing piece of art and when I brought him a picture, he managed to make it even better than the original. He is patient creative, funny and great to spend six hours with while getting tattooed. I really enjoyed sitting for my tattoo at Propaganda. Some tattoo shops have way to much attitude, this one not at all, the artists are all welcoming and friendly and absolutely know what they are doing. If you are looking for a shop to go to, go here, you will not regret it! It is in a obscure location but that is no problem at all and well worth the trip.

I went into propaganda last weekend and loooved it! They got back to me quickly and I had no trouble getting in for an appointment. Teer is awesome! He came up w a sketch of exactly what I wanted and the tatt came out looking even better than I expected! The crew and atmosphere is soo chill and they made me feel very welcome. Also, the music was so unpredictable but it was so much fun! I'm so happy w my new tatt I will definitely go back for more when I am in the area..

I visited Propaganda for my first tattoo, entered the place, was welcome right away in a super relaxed atmosphere. I explained my tattoo idea to Teer and he came back 15 minutes later with a design I loved. Nobody is pushy there, everybody has a good sense of humor, a total blast for me. And the result is awesome. I am already thinking about my next tattoo - guess who is going to do it?

I went into this shop wanting a tattoo, and I knew relatively nothing about tattooing. I only had a vision in my mind, and the staff helped me make it a reality! The shop was flawless, and the staff were so nice to me. I didn't expect the level of service that I got, and it really helped to make my first tattoo experience absolutely amazing. I heard about Propaganda through a friend that had been there a few weeks before I went in. I saw the work they did for her first tattoo and thought I would talk to them about a design that I had drawn up and wanted. When I went into the shop, the artists were friendly and willing to help me out with any questions I had. After looking through their books and liked what I saw, Sergio (very good artist by the way) set me up for an appointment for 2 days later, so he could take my design and tweak and peak it so it would be exactly what I want. When i went in 2 days later he had the design I had wanted he started inking me up. The whole process took around an hour and a half to 2 hours and it came out fabulous for a great price, half the price of some of the other shops I went to before. I will definitely be going back to them again and telling all my friends to check them out.

I decided to go to Propaganda because there were so many good reviews and I now fully understand why. It is a clean, very relaxed atmosphere and all the guys there are friendly and more than helpful. This was my first tattoo and I think it was a great experience. I will definitely go back if I decide to inflict some more pain on myself in the future. They have good prices too and all of the artists are really good. Eric did mine and it couldn't have turned out more perfect. He was super nice too!

After my first naive experience with tattoo number one I really wanted to do some more research on a proper tattoo shop for my second piece. Propaganda had amazing reviews and after an initial visit to scope out the place I had one of those Yes-to-the-dress moments. This wasn?t one of those places covered in generic catalog artwork; there were watercolors showcasing each of these amazing guys? talent as artists. It was professional, clean, and just downright comfortable. It was convenient and easy to make an appointment. These guys taught me more tattoo terminology without making me feel stupid. Thanks to Eric for the wonderful design off my vague idea and for getting it all done in one patient sitting. And thanks to Mark and Teer for keeping me entertained through the painful parts. I will definitely be getting all my future work done here.

Propaganda Tattoo was the best experience I could have hoped for when I recently got my first tattoo. As soon as I walked I was greeted by one of the artist, and it didn't take too long to realize that the place they have is clean, and organize. It sure made me comfortable about getting a tattoo there. I set up an appointment with Sergio for the next day, and BAM, I was in! I told him what I was looking for and he showed me some of the artwork that they had previously done, and I loved it. The day of my appointment, Sergio worked with me on getting my first tattoo just right. I think he may have gone through a couple of trees in the process, but the end result was perfection! I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get another tattoo or for their first. I know the friend I took with me will be back, and the next time I am in San Diego, I will most definately be going back. YOU ROCK GUYS!!

I came to San Diego with my friends planning on getting a tattoo. I didnt decide exactly what i wanted until that day. I choose Propaganda over about 20 other tattoo shops in San Diego because it had great reviews. You never know when you read on line what the place will really be like but this tattoo shop is legit and one of the best i've been to. I got my third tattoo here, my other one i got in Riverside, and Sergio gave me exactly what I wanted. I love it. The shop has really convienient hours, they are easy to get ahold of, parking is good, its easy to find and the store is siick inside. It's covered from heard to toe, even the bathroom, in tattoo designs. The only thing I dont like is that it's behind my ear and I can't look at it all day : ] i would defiantly recommend this place to anyone looking to get an amazing tattoo by an amazing artist. I went for my first tattoo a week ago on Sunday and had a GREAT experience. I was a little nervous at first, especially because I knew what I wanted but didn't have a sketch to bring in with me. I also wanted a pretty small tattoo, and didn't know how well that was going to go over. But, Brandon drew up a sketch for me, which was perfect, and made me feel completely comfortable while doing my tattoo. I couldn't love my tattoo any more because it's completely cute and exactly what I had wanted, and what made it especially awesome was the experience of the whole thing, which couldn't have been any better!!!!!! Brandon is awesome, and the the shop is fantastic. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!

I had never gotten a tattoo before and I looked on here and it said that propaganda was the best tattoo shop in San Diego. When I went there to check it out, everyone was so nice and friendly.
