Sun Mar 13 2011Used to be so much better, just like Funyuns. I don't know if there was a change in recipe, but I fancied the Salt & Vinegar Pringles. I used to be able to eat an entire can but nowadays you have a 50/50 chance of getting a good can, and even then I can only eat half of it and the flavor is kind of suck. Don't know what happened. The original silver can pringles are still the bomb, or so I hope, it's been a while...

Sat Dec 25 2010Revulsion in a tube. Quite possibly the most despicable snack food on the market. On the upside, you can use the can to temporarily store a wet paint roller, and I've seen it mentioned on a blog that the can also comes in handy as a pissjug. In either case, those two uses are the only value this garbage has.

Mon Apr 20 2009I read an article recently that England doesn't even consider Pringles and a potato...go figure...they taste pretty bland. Even though they have more flavors out now....I still think they're bland.

Wed Aug 20 2008The fact that they're not fully potatos makes it a little less appealing. It makes me wonder what other "hidden" ingredients are inside them. But, if I'm not worrying about that (and I really don't worry too much about that,) I really enjoy Pringles. Their flavors are all really good (though I'm not a fan of their pizzalicious.) I love how they're convenienty in a slim can, so it leaves more room on my shelves to store other items. It's also easier to eat them since all you have to do is pop the lid, reach down, and grab a few. Bags of chips can be messy and once you've eaten most of the bag, it gets harder to really reach down in there.

Tue Aug 19 2008I'm not sure anything reconstituted can possibly pass for delicious, or even edible, for that matter. I'm amused by Pringles' more recent attempt to break into the Gourmet market that I've seen in random grocery stores. Look up Pringles Select if you don't believe me. I'm not sure this particular brand has that kind of equity guys....might wanna class it up a little and lose the 'stache (and how about just not calling anything "fancy" Pringles at all, because we all know they barely qualify as food).

Tue Aug 19 2008I don't know if it's possible to find a more processed version of the potato. Then again, they are junk food and people don't eat these for health reasons. I rarely eat them as I'm not much of a potato chip fan, but every once in a while I'll eat a handful to quell a junk food craving.

Tue Jul 08 2008Should have the "potato" designation stripped from it. In fact, Procter & Gamble just filed a successful claim with a British court demonstrating that they are NOT a potato chip in order to escape a special 17.5% sales tax on starch. Those crazy Brits tax the heck out of something organic while in effect subsidizing junk food: that makes no sense, though it may help to explain their terrible health. Now if Pringles ever changes course and claims to be made from anything resembling organic life, this insanity will continue. Lose that mustache, Pringles--you're the least convincing transvestite among foods.

Tue Jul 31 2007I have always liked Pringles. Taste great, no greasy finger after eating them, and for the most part, they are usually in one piece.
