Price Chopper

this shop sucks..... they don't chop the price but chop the customer's health as well.... most of the products are expired...... i myself saw expired baby foods many times..... to add to my surprise was 2007 expiry dated juice boxes sold recently in may 2009

The managers in their stores are very uptight. It's not a friendly place to shop.

The only grocery store chains around where I live is Price Chopper and Hannaford. I prefer Price Chopper although Hannaford has a better deli section

Ever wonder how Price Chopper Gets all there Independant stores together to set prices on sale items in there weekly adds . I can think of at least 5 diffrent Price Chopper Stores that are owned by diffrent people each person haves several stores . Is this a monopoly ?? how about price fixing . In the old days that what you would call it , Because these are diffrent owners all seting prices for several stores over the Kansas City area

Price chopper is absolutely awful. I can base this on pretty much everyone that i've visited while living in syracuse. I mean it's great if you like your grocery stores having only 3lines open w/everyone paying w/food stamps. I understand that people need food stamps but if they could just have more lines open then the rating would get bumped up to a 3. On the plus side, Price Chopper products are decent. Truly a horrible store that fails in comparison to wegmans.

I always liked the one in Middletown, NY. Clean, great produce selection. I liked the meat, except for the pork. Really had to wash it good, because there was chipped bone all over it a lot of times. But everything else was good. Selection, etc.

Which Price Choppers are we speaking of here? There is a large chain of Price Choppers in the northeast in NY, PA, VT, MA and NH. There also seems to be a chain with the same name in KC. The ones in NY suck. They're all in the ghetto and scumbags shop there. Hannaford is way better.

First off, I was humiliated in front of the store by the cashier for trying to use my Hen House card (which, by the way, works, you know...). Then another cashier 3 lanes away chimes in also. I will never, ever, step foot into Price Chopper again. Hen House is more expensive, but well worth it. Plus, the help is courteous and qualified. No more of the ghetto customers and white-trash workers for me!!!

O.K, first of all I would disagree with the others. My mother has always took my to Price Choppers when growing up, and I found it to be a very clean, well organized,well stocked grocery store. The employers treated me very well, and they gave me my first job when I had no education. They didn't look at the fact that I had no education. They saw the repect I had for people. Now that I am all grown up, and doing my own grocery shopping, I will continue to shop there. I will admit they aren't the lowest price store out there like they say they are, but they make up with there quality of products.

Ihave finally had it! For the last three months every time Ido my grocery shopping, the shelves are empty of the weekly specials!! Ihunt for 20 minutes to find a manager to inquire and I'm told sorry the truck just pulled up. It doesn't matter if It's early morning, in the middle of the night, or high noon. The shelves are empty. I'm sorry but I don't care to run back to the store three times a week. I will now shop where things are stocked!!!!!!!!!

Worst service ever by a Price Chopper store. Cashiers were polite and helpful. However, I witness a problem when a cashier asked for help and the store manager yelled at her in front of me. The cashier was running a "easy scan" four registers and informed me that she had training on the system. The store mangager came over and yelled at her due to the fact that she was not helping other customers. She could not help other patrons until she settled the problems. This was very disturbing and should not be subjected to any employee

We live about three minutes away from the local Price Chopper. It used to be my favorite grocery store. It had great selections to choose from and the meats, baked goods, and produce were beautiful.The store was clean and neatly organized. The employees were very helpful and friendly and they acted like they actually wanted my business. I went there all the time to do my shopping. Unfortunately, in the past year or so, management at the local PC has apparently changed. The quality of the meats, baked goods, and produce have become very poor. The shelves always look dirty and unorganized. It's hard to find anything anymore. The employees are lazy and even downright rude. They never have any lines open. The last straw for me came about four months ago when an employee told my 3 year-old niece to "Shut the f*** up, you stupid little b****!" because she was singing to her doll while we were in line. The closest grocery store at my college is a Price Chopper.I think they have a wonderful selection of things and the store is always clean and the service is great. I don't know where they are chopping prices from though because I can go home to my small-town grocery store and shop for a bit cheaper.

Those chopper shopper cards are no different than the sale prices that were avaliable, in the store ad, 10 years ago. The cards are used to profile your shopping habits. Price Chopper does not have online shopping avaliable in Kansas City. I would rather pay HyVee $5 to trudge through the store for me. Although I do find Price Choppers store set up and interior more inviting.

The service at the Roeland Park store in Kansas in the pits. I felt like I was not treated nicely because I am not a mexican.

Bad quality everything, other then their meats. Ok service.

This is the only store on the list that is in Kansas City. I love Price Chopper because they have that little keychain thing that they scan and they give you great prices if you use it. It is like having $15 in coupons when you go shopping. I also like that service that I get. The meats are also very quality too.
