When I was a kid I longed to be president. Now, with mass media, tabloids, assassins, nuts, and fellow politicians running amok only interested in themselves, you couldn't give me the job! It's bad enough that the president, regardless of who's in office, has the stress of terrorists, potential foreign enemies, natural disasters, the economy, etc. to worry about. Now days, He/She has to worry about people out to get em' in their own country too.

Is there a more stressful job? Especially now, where no matter what the President does, half the country will be dissatisfied. Then you have the media dissecting everything you say and analyzing your every move... no thanks.

Everyone wants to kill you. Everything you do will make some people mad. People make fun of every word you say. They twist your words to make you say something else Your actions represent the whole country.

Every decision you make, down to what tie you wear is examined...people need to remember this person is just an average joe who wanted to make a difference...and do any of us really set out to make the world a worse place?

It looks like they all age a decade for every four year term. Its a job that never sleeps, regardless of some of the BS I've read from other reviewers that gave this item a one.

The state of the whole country, depends on every decision you make. If you do a really job, at being a president, people will like you awhole lot. If not, then everybody's at your throat.  You also to make sure that you don't mess things up, when dealing with other countries.

I agree with Axlrod, and EVERYONE else can do it better. LOL. It is an enormous task and one I think in the future should become defunct, when individuals start to vote for policies rather than Presidents.

This is easily the most stressful job on this list. What other position puts a man in the line of fire for terrorists, media criticisms, etc.? These men have the well-being of the greatest nation on the face of the earth on their shoulders. And any decision they make is immediately scrutinized and disected to the absolute core. Their past is dug up like ripe potatoes, and even their families are constantly spotlighted and invaded by the media, stripped of all privacy and comfort. But I guess it only makes sense for the most powerful and important job in the world to be the most stressful.

More stressful when the Congress is controlled by the opposing party. 5 big stars any day of the week.

Whether you're a democrat or republican the weight of history and human events rests upon your shoulders. As the leader of the free world and most powerful nation on the globe your decisions effect populations of people presently and in the future. A somewhat thankless position in the respects that people will always be in objection no matter what your decsions or policies may be, yet you have to lead with all the data you have available to you. You have to harbor freedom for the next generation and protect liberty on all fronts to the best of your ability. It is your task to determine when it's time to confront evil; to send brave souls off to sacrifice their lives today so others may live in liberty tomorrow. Everything you do is under a microscope and analyzed from now to eternity. Where's the stress there? LOL
