Mon Oct 18 2010Yeah, I'm a PPG fan. Pretty much forever. I loved it especially in Kindergarten through 2nd grade, but have been getting back into it lately after buying the full episode set. While I know a lot of people have been ranting on the PPG style: let me clear up a few things. First of all: the style used in the show is NOT anime. Jeebus, guys, c'mon. The style on the girls is based off of Craig McCracken's wife's style, which you can find on deviantart if you're curious. I find it a pretty original style, and also VERY hard to get used to drawing. So yeah, it definitely took talent, and I actually find the character designs rather ingenious and true to each character's personalities. The second things I've heard people complain about is the occasional adult humor. Personally, I think adding a little adult humor, as long as it's something that flies over kids' heads, is something that keeps a show alive (my favorite example of using adult humor in a kids' cartoon is with McCracken's other ... Tue Mar 07 2006It's kinda lame. It was actually subposed to be and adult show like Family Guy but Adult Swim rejected it and Cartoon Network asked if they could turn it into a more kid friendly show. And it did. The dumb creators decided to add inappropriate things and dirty hidden gags and if you don't believe me just watch an episode with Him in it! Him is a GUY who dresses like a girl and in the prank call episode Him is in the tub without any top and well lets just say that him isn't really a girl. I used to like it until I noticed the hidden gags that are kind of bad for kids. Also another thing that sucks about it is that they put it on TOONAMI!!! TOONAMI!!! Yes Powerpuff Girls is really a hard hitting action show geez and took off Yu Yu Hakusho and Sailor Moon for it what the hell were they thinking!!! Sarrisa is right!!! I guess it isn't terrible but it is bad.

Mon Feb 20 2006I love love LOVE those sweet precious little Powerpuff Girls! My favorite was Bubbles, with Blossom a close second. Bubbles is so sweet, so adorable and cute-and can kick some major behind!! The show is so awesome! I want to see Powerpuff Girls on the Boomerang channel, because it's already a classic in my book.

Wed Oct 26 2005This is a stellar cartoon. I like how it's stories are kind of old school but with cool animation. Buttercup rocks!

Mon Sep 13 2004OOOOOK anyone else find it rather creepy that a grown, single, middle-aged professor wanted to create 3 perfect little girls? AND... *ahem* someone should tell McCracken that his show is NOT Japanese anime, and that he should be more original. Cruddy character designs.

Mon Jun 14 2004I like this cartoon. My favorite character is Bubbles who is so sweet. I was a little scared of how they look what with those gigantic eyes of theirs but it's pretty cute. Kindergartners that kick azz. Love It!

Thu Jun 03 2004This was cute in 1998, when it came out. But than the worst thing to happen , in summer of 2002 , that stupid friggin movie came out. Now the animation is HORRIBLE. I just can't STAND it anymore!!!

Sun May 02 2004The Powerpuff Girls is a very funny show with agreat sense of humor. You get hooked on all the charcters (especially Mojo-Jojo, he's the best), the only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is well, alot of people would be embarasssed about watching a show about little girl super heros, a little too feminine for my tastes at least, still, most of the characters are male, so I can still watch it.

Mon Apr 12 2004I know they are just little girls, but they're too flat. The show is baddy drawn, the characters are lame beyond belief, but the plots and puns are far, far, FAR worse. If any of the villians took on some of the really powerful superheroes (one that run around in their undies,) they'd be defeated before they could even finish their annoying laughter.

Mon Apr 05 2004This show is great the city of Townsville is so intresting! and The talking dog I LOVE him!! the mayor and the professor are hilarious. They also came up with some great villians and of course the powerpuff girls are SO SO cute!

Tue Mar 18 2003I absolutely adore this show! This is something that adults and children can both enjoy (I know more people over twenty that like it more than children, actually). CAUTION: If you do not have a high tolerance for cuteness, this is not the show for you! This is a show for people who don't mind "sugar, spice and everything nice", teddy bears and rainbows, and stuff like that, and if the thought of that makes you queasy, you might want to stay away from it.

Mon Mar 10 2003Good animation, but I see too much of this cartoon outside of the actual show.

Thu Nov 14 2002yeah...Buttercup rocks! I think the show is very good and teaches you that you can be successful, tough and smart and still be caring, pretty and sweet. It helped me: sometimes it is hard to be a tough when you are a girl!

Tue Aug 20 2002my little cuzin loves this show!

Fri Jun 28 2002Sometimes veers a little too much toward Ren & Stimpy style grossness, but it is consistantly well written and imaginative.
by classictvfan47
Fri Jun 21 2002Yet another great cartoon, this one has a hype-filled narrator, an intelligent professor, three young supergirls and a boatload of goofy and unique villains. Not to mention the clueless mayor and his attractive secretary (voiced by Star Trek: Voyager's Jennifer Lein). The plots are great, animation good, although it slighly more violent than one would expect.
by callmetootie
Tue Apr 02 2002Powerpuff Girls is totally imaginative. It has a great team behind it. But what plagues this series is what it has to work with. 3 annoying girls. I don't think so!

Mon Feb 25 2002I used to love, LOVE the powerpuff girls. I stayed up until 3 am (my Cartoon Network is in Swedish but the English version starts sometime after midnight and that's the only one I like) to watch it. Unfortunantly two episodes made me a bit queasy one featuring the Sandman (desperate for sleep) and the other a cat (wanting his species treated like royalties). In these particular episodes I was rooting for the "bad" guys to win. Otherwise this show has spunk, some real kick-ass attitude and most of all, it's hysterically funny.
