The liberal extremist media, which is abundantly well funded by, among other, gays and lesbians organizations, are doing a terrible damage to our society and nation. When the wrong thing is called and praised as right, and the right thing is denounced and persecuted as wrong, then we have real problem. The fall of great nations and societies have always come from the inside, not outside. A cancer kills slowly and for most of it silently. But it kills nevertheless.

Do I have to revisit that "who's the pitcher/who's the catcher" discussion? They comprise less than 2% of the general population, why do we spend so much time, talent and table-pounding rhetoric on "their" issues?

Growing up I was always told that if people constantly talk behind your back, whether it be good or bad, it means you are popular; why else would they waste so much time getting into your personal business? And I really think this is true in most cases when it comes to being gay. Now if the gay issue is something that will make a difference in your own personal life, then sure you have every right to carry on about it, but if it isn't something that is your business at all--maybe you should concentrate more on your own life and leave other people alone? Just a thought...

I don't have any real opinion about this subject because I have nbo clue what it is really asking, but I do need to respond to President-X-D's rambling of possibly the stupidest slurry I've ever read. First off, I don't know about your highschool, but in my experience I have never actually seen or heard of anyone claiming to be gay to defend against bullies. The homosexuals in my school were not necessarily the most popular kids, but were also not geeks, dorks, or whatever lower social status is applicable. There was never any correlation between coming out and being a dork, nor did coming out do anything to help or harm the person's social status. This also ignores the pain and struggle that a person ahs to go through to coe out of the closet and the vulnerability it opens them up to when they do. I also wouldn't be so quick to bash those that want to help out oppressed minorities; are you saying, as seems obvious, that the civil rights movement was just some apologetic liberal ploy, ... Back in high school in the early 90s, my friend reported to me about a party he was at where it had become trendy for boys to kiss boys, gay or not. I found it bizarre, but then I did somethinking about the concept. It makes perfect sense these days for dorks to claim they're gay - it makes them MORE popular. Why, you axe? Say i'm a geek and I'm getting beat up and teased constantly at school. I decide to claim I am gay. Now, if some bully beats me up, HE'S a gay basher! Someone dumps my books in the hallway or calls me names, THEY are homophobes! All the liberal girls and boys suddenly get on MY side, even more so than they did for the blacks in the civil rights days. The new gay movement is used by many young liberals as a way to make up for the new minority (gays) in ways their parents didn't for the blacks. anyone claiming to be gay is touted as a hero, brave, and immune to all forms of criticism. Anyone who DOES criticize them is a homophobe and becomes a pariah. Coming out of the... Read more
