Most of my wives complained about my grizz breath. It never bothered me, and I couldn't figure it out.

I admit, I have bowed out of a date or two because the guys tried to kiss me and their breath smelled like something curled up and died in their mouths.

Thats a tough one...if I had already developed a relationship, and she started to neglect herself,I'd try to find out what was wrong.(Poor hygeine is often a sign of depression.)On a first date, though,I'd probably "lose her number" depending on how bad it was.

Number one reason for me! It's repolsive and offensive. Get a soap and a toothpaste, at least one tic tac.

Who wants to date Pig Pen?

  • by

    graymalkin

    Wed Oct 12 2005

Is this someone that you are going out on a first date or dating? If their body odor or breath were truly that repulsive there would not even be a first date. If it was someone that I had been dating for awhile and they suddenly had stinky breath or BO, then I would say something. If that did not work, I would worry about their mental stability.

Chances are the date has no idea of the foul odor, and doesn't intend to be repulsive. If the date likes you and cares for your interest, he/she will respond to suggestions to how you like a freshly-showered date who has made friends with Scope. That's doing your date a favor, and chances are you won't have a repeat offender on the second date. Take this from a guy who was offered a breath mint after his first romantic kiss -- I adjusted quickly.

Come on TVFan, ignore the smell? Get your head out of the sand and ask yourself if you'd actually like to kiss someone who hasn't brushed their teeth in a week or hasn't showered in a few days. I for one am not interested in sticking my tongue into a mouth that smells like a landfill.
