It's a very good shaver and it performs well for what's intended for. BUT if your ON/OFF button gets stuck in ON position and there's nothing you can do about it to turn it OFF (or ON later when it powers down due to battery) HERE'S A WAY TO FIX IT. I've just fixed mine today (accidentally). I took it to the repair shop and before I went there I'd left it in the car for a while with sub zero temperatures. The cold did its part on the switch which has some magnet or metal on the inside and it let go - it ain't stuck any more and it functions normally. Just PUT YOUR PHILLIPS IN THE FREEZER FOR 30 MIN and that should fix it. If you need more info e mail me on [email protected] BEST OF LUCK GUYS

I've used the Norelco Bodygroom for over a year now. Although there have been a few very minor nicks and scrapes, I feel that, on the whole, it a very good shaver.

I purchased this item a few months back and have been able to use it multiple times since then. I will first say, I love this "groomer"... No nicks, cuts, or bumps to speak of. The unit is well made, with a nice rubbery texture to avoid slipping. The combination shaver/clipper head works very well. One bit I was concerned about was the clipper portion as I have had issues before with certain "areas" being cut by the clipper head because the openings were too wide---no so with this product. I like the attachments that come with the unit, although, I REALLY wish Norelco would include a carrying case like they do with a lot of products. The only faults I find for this product is the wrist strap should NOT be relied on as it frequently comes apart (I have had this happen 2x's and dropped the unit, yet it still funtions wonderfully), and the attachements attach almost too well to the unit as when you take them off, frequently the whole shaver head comes off. Overall, this unit is G... Read more

WOW! I am so happy I got this! No more worries about an unintended vasectomy from a slip of the razor. I can now keep the forest trimmed and the danglers smooth with this handy contraption this is easy and safe to use. Just read the instructions and you will be fine.

I was surprised at how well this works. No nicks or irritation. Follow the directions in the box and you're good to go. Easy cleaning, charges quickly. It does buzz rather loud though. Other than that, I would definitely buy again.

The basic shaver does what it says, however, the trimming guards fall off constantly due to poor design it seems. I had to constantly keep my finger pressed over the back of the plastic to prevent it falling on the ground. Even then, I would have to reattach multiple times each use. Additionally, I finally ended up smashing the hell out of the thing in a fit of annoyance when battery flaws rendered the damn thing too annoying to use. Let me explain: 1) the manual tells you not to leave it on the charger constantly and only charge it up until the red light on the adapter turns off. This is an annoying oversight; I mean should I really have to schedule my week to know when I want a charged appliance? Really? 2) the charge capacity is erratic. Sometimes I would pull it off the charger and have nothing, only to set it back in and see that it had no juice. 3) power control is occasionally non-functional. There were numerous incidents where the thing would turn on, but no... Read more
