Tue Dec 23 2008Not impressed. Doesn't cut close and feels cheap too. Blades don't cut my stubble very close and are expensive to replace. Buy a Braun.

Sun Nov 30 2008I've been using Norelco corded razors for over 10 years. My 715RL (worked great) finally died and this one was being heavily advertised at $20 off for the Thanksgiving holiday at $29.99 so gave it a try. It's very quiet compared to others I've owned, but the 7310xl also shaves considerably slower. Also a little more complicated to clean with the tilting blades. Haven't used one of the pricier models, so can't comment on those. I actualy use 2 Norelcos (one in each hand) to speed up the shaving process.

Sat Nov 29 2008Norelco 7310XL Reflex Plus Cord/Cordless Electric Shaver Was a Norelco fan with higher cost units. Then went to a razor. The cost of blades and disposables got me back to this 7310. It works great, confortable shave, no nicks. Seems to me the blades turn slower than my previous Norelco. Takes alittle longer to get the job done. Enjoy the ability to wash the unit in water. Better for me than using a brush to clean out the cut hairs. Works for me.

Tue Oct 14 2008Used this one for a month now, the irritation is gone except for the nick area, which also is badly shaved, it is great for all other parts of the face, but you need to go many times.

Fri Oct 10 2008This shaver provides a fairly standard Norelco (i.e. 3 head rotary shaver) shave -- however, definitely not as fast or smooth as the more expensive norelco models. This product is really only for the norelco (rotary) shaver fan, that cant afford a more expensive model. Anyone else should look elsewhere. As compared to, say, your typical single head Braun, to me at least, the Norelco models I have used (this is the second) seem to take a little longer to shave with, a little less powerful. I gather some like that the three heads contour to their face better or some such, but after years of experience, I still prefer the quicker shave of the traditional single head (non-rotary) shavers. I tend to think most electric shavers get you to the same closeness eventually, but some just take longer/more passes to do it, and the norelco's seem slower. As compared to my prior 4 or 5 year old (but more expensive) Norelco, this shaver takes a little longer to get the job done, and is ... Read more
