Sat Jul 05 2003I bought one. I t was addictive tes . But thr RF IN is made very cheaply. Don't try moving it around too much because your RF in will snap off the module. But that's not the bad news... It costs more to fix it than what you paid for the item (and that's with the warranty)!!!! I guess I won't be watching my favorites shows when I want. It's not cost effective to repair...

Thu Feb 13 2003Philips products are second rate. I had a t.v. go out in seven months for no reason, and I had a fairly expensive DVD player of theirs that quit playing the newer movies, again for no apparent reason. I contacted their customer service on two different occasions, and they lied to me both times. I turned them in to the Better Business Bureau, to no avail. They will not stand by their products. This is supposed to be America, but I felt like I was in Communist Russia after getting that kind of screwing.

Sun Jun 24 2001I have owned and operated my TIVO since December 2000, and can't live without it. I get to record all of my favorite shows and all I have to do is set it to season pass and it records every episode automatically. I can pause live tv, rate shows and movies with a touch of a button, and it even records shows and movies based on what you rate. TIVO is fairly inexpensive and very easy to operate. There is even a wishlist option available to record shows or any actor/actress that is not listed yet.
