Peppermint Patty

Peppermint Patty, Marcie's best friend, excels on the baseball diamond but not in the classroom. She is the only one who calls Charlie Brown "Chuck."

One of my favs!  While selling Girl Scout cookies the other day, I kept saying we were out of the Peppermint Patties ( as opposed to the Peanut Butter Patties).  Everyone was laughing at me and telling me I had PEANUTS on the brain!  And PearlyShells ~ I diosagree, she wasn't a lesbian ~ she had that massive crush on "Chuck".  Although Marcie always did refer to her as SIR.  HMMMMM....now you got me thinking!

One of my favorite Peanuts characters. She is strong willed, athletic, and an outgoing personality. She can go a little over the top from time to time however.

Velma from Scooby Doo and Pep Patty were my favorite lesbian cartoon characters.  Go Pep!

At least she was nice to Charlie Brown.  In fact, she and Marcie had a crush on him.

I remember this little girl who came from a poor family but had unbounded optimism and joy. She always had good advice for Chuck.

Peppermint Patty is totally gay. I mean c'mon, she's got Marcie calling her sir for God's sake. Marcie is the sub and Peppermint Patty is the Domme. Its a B & D relationship involving 7 year old kids! Ha Ha! I bet the reason that the adults can't speak is because they have ball gags in their mouths. I was watching the one when they go to overnight camp with the bully. Peppermint Patty did not go. Peppermint Patty called Marcie from home. She said Hey Marcie, I was calling to see how you and Chuck were making out at Camp. Marcie then acts as if Charlie Brown is messing with her in the background and says Dont stand so close to me Chuck! Stop trying to hold my hand! Then Marcie says to Peppermint Patty over the phone Just kidding with you sir. Now if that is not a reference to her playing with Peppermint Patty to make her jealous, then I dont know what is. Since Im not a homophobe, I thought the whole scene is hilarious!

Peppermint Patty is hilarious! I remember she made me laugh continuously in Race for your life, Charlie Brown! and in just about every other movie/featured she appeared on. Marcie was excellent as well!

Peppermint Patty is a bossy, loud-mouth, know-it-all chatterbox who wears those famous roman sandals of hers all year round, but yet still shes one of my absolute favourites. Out of all the Peanuts characters shes one of the girls with a strong personality whose heart is in the right place (Lucy is arrogant, Sally is too whiny and spoilt). Peppermint Paddy never shys away from taking on a challenge from the guys and they truly respect her for that.

I hate Peanuts in general, but Peppermint Patty seems to be the only one who's likeable. I guess it's the fact that if they did a Peanuts special 20 years later, She'd probably have amounted to something with all her talents.

My favorite female of the bunch. She wasn't rude or bossy like Lucy, but she could stand up for herself and to other people. I loved how she called Charlie Brown Chuck and that she never really paid attention in school.

She was funny, but in the end I got so bored with her appearing so often in the latter days. I always felt that every time she appeared she took away the stage away from Lucy, Snoopy, Schroeder, Linus and «Chuck»

I'm playing Peppermint Patty in my college's production of You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, and I don't think I've ever had so much fun with a character. She is the epitome of spunk, and I'm having a great time trying to embody her on stage :)

She is the girl who wasn't afraid to get a little dirty and she was always happy we should all be a little more like Peppermint Patty

She rocks! Anyone who says she is gay is a sexist pig who can just go hop back into their mud hole.

Peppermint Patty was so much fun. She was the only character that dared to be different. She was very masculine and that was very unusual for the time period. Whether she was lesbian or not is irrelevant. She did her thing and I loved her for that. My has it off to You Patty!

I think she's a great role model for girls because she shows that girls can be just as good at sports and stuff as boys are.

I think that Peppermint Patty is the best Character, cuz were alike, except i dont have a brainy friend like Marci. But the tom-boy thing is definately true. She's really funny, and great at sports, which is why i like her character. The sense of humour is the best. But just like her, i grew up living with my dad and big bro, but now i live with my dad, my big bro and my lil bro. The Male Role Model thing plays an important role in this character, which is a good thing.
