Pee-Wee's Big Adventure

Well, Pee-Wee's bike gets stolen from Bux-'ton,' and he has to find it. One of the truly great comedies of the 1980's. If it's one of your favorite movies, you end up matching your friends line for line....such as 'spearmint or fruit?'

This is a pretty dumb movie but you have to love it for the simple fact its Pee Wee.

Loved the movie when I was a child.

Im a lil embarassed to give this 3 stars but growing up as a kid in the 80's this was a COOL movie when it came out.

It's a DVD...how would you review a DVD? It's a movie that I watched when i was 3 and 4 years old and liked it. I live in Europe so APO shipping is worthless on the military's part. Im sure the seller sent it 2 days after I ordered it and it's on it's way.

I bought copies of this classic, silly, fun movie for friends in 4 different generations. They all loved it. The youngest, age 10, has seen it 3 times now. The oldest 56, remembers the hilarious Pee Wee from his childhood. Just good fun. Memorable.

What else to say...Get it. Watch it alone and laugh, watch it with your kids and repeat lines forever. Watch it as a drinking game and be hammered by the end of "I don't make monkeys, I just train them!".

Great movie! Good enough to be worth buying, and I don't say that often.

Came quickly. I was trying to get my 5 year old daughter interested. She liked it...my husband and I liked it more...

I will not lie I watched this when i was very young and I can "carefree" say that this movie should not be watched by young children, HAHA. It could possibly be the reason kids are so screwed up! lol. It's like watching Michael Jackson in a movie with no singing............................................ ...

So I started watching this the other night when we got home from the bar and my friend proceeded to tell me that this movie was directed by Tim Burton...I didn't know that but it was blatantly obvious to me from the very beginning. I have a question though...is Pee-Wee supposed to be a little boy who happens to have all this cool stuff and never seems to have to pay for anything? Or is he supposed to be an adult who is "Special"?

I love this movie for nostalgic reasons. This movie came out when I was about 11 years old and still found stupid humor like that used by Pee Wee Herman to be hilarious. As a result, I'm still amused by a number of lines from the movie, and I still like to hit "pause" whenever I see "Large Marge".

i liked this movie though i'm not sure why. peewee herman was different even though not all that funny

His private life aside(no pun intended) this film was pretty good and funny.I thought his Saturday morning show was pretty funny too.
