He was a politically correct robot, no thoughts of his own, just a mechanical device guided long-distance by the Democratic Party. (Hey, that pretty much sums up 80% of all TRW cast-mates...) This guy had had gay sex already at the age of 14, 15. He was a reckless, decadent kid who should have known better. Age is not an excuse. On the upside, he was bright, well-mannered, but tended to feel superior to those whose ideas contradicted his own. this man touched my heart with his sincerity and bravery. I can only wish that i am half the man this brother was. He love Sean and Sean loved him. Seeing this, I truly understansd that love between two men can exist and does. My Our Lord and Savior lift him for all the good that he has done for those affected and infected by/with HIV.

Pedro was a great cast member, because he exposed a lot of people to a lifestyle that they may never have dealt with before. The way he portrayed himself as a gay man and as a person living with AIDS was always classy. His appearance on this cast did a lot to educate MTV viewers about the issues he had to deal with on a daily basis.

Attention hog. He had AIDS and died and that was unfortunate but he brought it on himself. Condescending, whiny, preachy over something that could have been easily prevented. Made Puck leave to boot.

I never liked the Real World show, but I did like Pedro. He was also a comic book artist and I just got the book. Haven't read it yet, but I admire the fact he was confident and not afraid to speak his mind.

It was very unfortunate that Pedro died after this show...nobody deserves to die in such a manner...however as far as his character on the Real World, and because the people behind this show want us to believe that this is how these people TRULY are in real life..then I would have to give his personality 3 stars. He acted like he was too good for most of the members of the house...and he was just way too snotty for his own good. I didn't really care for his attitude problem towards Puck...

Too annoying, and I'm not saying that because he was gay. Trust me I'm not homophobic my best friend is gay.

He was too depressing. And he annoyed me big time. AIDS is important, but gays, AIDS, TV, and Real World? Drama overload

I'm a gay homosexual with AIDS. Period. End of story. That's all he had to offer. A truly one-dimensional character if there ever was one. He sucks. Puck should have kicked his pathetic ass. People all over the world are dying from disease and famine, and this asswipe's number one priority is a jar of peanut butter. Sad, sad, sad.

Seemed like a decent guy, but here's all we ever learned about the guy: He's gay, and that .. he's gay, and, oh, he's gay. His one-dimensionality was certainly not from the fact that he didn't get sufficient "air-time." Too bad he never presented anything beyond the gay+AIDS guy.

his story was very compelling, no question. But he was also very self righteous regarding his problems with Puck. He volunterred to be on the show. He had to figure, being as intelligent as he was, that he would be forced to live with a person or persons who were totally different than him. The whole "as long as Puck is here in this house, Pedro will not be here" was a bunch of BS, in my opinion.

Terrible disease and may he RIP, but he really wasn't suited for this show, which "Pushes Buttons." He had a one-sided agenda, and why not. He really fell apart when he couldn't deal with Puck. Puck is the type that feeds off of annoying people. The more you show he is getting to you...

The thing that I liked about Pedro is that he touched on a very sensitive issue at a time where people around the world were more or less ignorant on a topic they refused to identify with. Pedro was not afraid to address the issue of AID's and his sexuality and talk so openly about his relationship with Sean. He was so honest and more or less educated the masses as not a lot of people watched any programmes about AID's, heck there were barely any programmes on AID's. But a lot of people watched MTV and "The Real World" and this was used to educate people. I'm glad that he was chosen, he woke a lot of people up from their ignorance.

One of the most fascinating and genuine persons that MTV could have cast! May he rest in peace. He will always be remembered!!!

Everytime you hear about Pedro, you think about the gay guy that died of AIDS. Even though these facts are a big factor to his poularity, I believe Pedro was a great person looking beyond all this. He was an intelligent and heartwarming person and I love watching the reruns of San Fran.

It showed the the world has to get along! With the cast as diverse as it was, Pedro proved, above all else, that he, and his message, was the dominant driving situation that definetly brought the world watching this wonderfull show!!!!!

Well, I have to vote Pedro as a 5 because he was a good guy and he did a lot in regards to AIDS awareness. He is one of the only people on the Real World that really got in my heart. His memory will live on...

It may sound cliche, but Pedro put a human face on AIDS. He was genuine and sincere in wanting to let the world know more about the disease. His battles with Puck were legendary.

He did not like Puck's booger-overed fingers dippin' into his peanut butted jar. Good story behind Pedro and it was good for MTV ot show the life of a person with AIDS.

Definitely had the biggest social impact of any Real World character. It was fun to watch him and Puck go at each other - Pedro tended to get a little high and mighty at times, while Puck was always an idiot.
