Ibleedblackandwhite...do you by any chance have photos of the inside of the school...I'm very interested in enrolling at PMTS in Tampa but I have not moved to Tampa yet and will not be able to see the inside of the school until I'm already enrolled. This would be extremely helpful if you do!!! thanks

this is the first part of my review...the rest of the review will be under the comment section: I would first love to start out by saying that it is so great to live in this amazing country where people are entitled to their freedom of speech........however, Obi Wan Kanobi , I must say that unless you know the facts, especially regarding legal matters where you contradict yourself repeatedly, your opinion really doesn't mean much. I am a graduate of Paul Mitchell the School Tampa and I would love to give you MY opinion of MY ACTUAL EXPERIENCE firsthand of the school. I must tell you that 99% of the student body LOVES PMTS! There is always that 1% that had a bad experience, which is bound to happen when you have over 200 females under one roof daily...and to that 1% I am terribly sorry. For me...PMTS has been absolutely life changing. Funny, I know, to think that a "hair school" could be life changing, but it’s the truth. I graduated last year and during my time spent at the school,... Read more

My sister recommended the place. I've gone twice and received two great hair cuts. Blow dry, cut and shampoo for only $12. I looked like I had paid over $100. Great products and kind service.

Yeah, I had a friend that went to school at the school in Tampa, Fl. She said the school was political and the teachers engaged regularly in group harasment of some of the "out" or less popular students. She said the teachers and faculty were unprofessional, eletist and snoby and it reflected in the work and attitudes of the students. She completed the "entire" program with all the expensive bells and wissles. She is in the process of paying back the over $25,000 in loans incured while in attendance. Oh, if you take out loans with the school, you should check the intrest thay plan to charge you after you hopeful graduate. I've heard horror stories of some student loans jacking up to over $100,000.00 with outrageous intrest and penaties for late pay ect ect ect.. Don't be blinded by the lights camera action; Paul Mitchell is a mega international multi-million dollar corperation. They are out to make money first and foremost. Also, some of the students have to restart the program if the... Read more

What a rip off! I spent $60 to get 3 red stripes dyed into my hair. It took the girl 4 hours; so long that she had to rush me out the door without a hair cut or even drying my hair!! She ushered me out the door into the parking lot with dripping wet hair; she didn’t even bother to comb my hair the right way! Thank goodness I had a brush & a hair tie in the car. The worst part is that after all that I could have done a better job if I had done it myself. You’re better off going to Super Cuts or Fantastic Sam’s at least if they screw up they don’t take 4 hours & 60 dollars to do it.

The student there seem genuinely happy to be there. In my opinion, the technical skill is far greater in graduates from here than graduated from Aveda. I've had my hair done multiple times and I've always been pleased!
