Jeff has given so much to animals over the years, from volunteering his time to train animals and volunteers at the Bloomfield Animal Shelter, to opening his great store where he offers only the best for all pets' health.

Jeff is truly the dog whisperer of Bloomfield! We resuced pitbull a year ago and Jeff and been instrumental in us having a healthy wonderful dog! He and his staff is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Jeff also watches our pitbull when we go on vacation and she loves it. It like she is at summer camp! Jeff is always available anytime you call him and seems to always have the answers. We would be lost without Paradise Pet and Jeff!

One of the only places I've been where the ENTIRE staff is knowedgable and competent; especially, Jeff who, always has the answers you need. The holistic and all natural products are top notch and the variety is that of one of those huge franchise big name stores. The service is one-on-one and personal. Jeff will spend as much time with you as needed to help you with all of your needs and/or concerns. Even the location is outstanding. I really can't say enough other then get there and check it out for yourself. I wish everywhere I shopped was half the place that Paradise Pet is.

Jeff is a passionate and excited man who cares for the health and well being of you animal as much as you do! From nutritional needs to behavioral questions, Jeff helps in any way he can. He goes above and beyond the expectations of a business owner and spends quality time with customers to answer all of their questions. I would not go anywhere else with my questions and concerns about my dog's health. I have had the privlege of working side by side with Jeff when he was my mentor and it was the greatest experience of my training career. His openess and understanding are unparalled qualities that are rare to find.

I can't say enough great things about Jeff, Diana and the whole staff at paradise pet !! I first met Jeff and Diana after a bird of mine had died suddenly. I wanted another bird but was afraid. Someone told me to go check out their store. They spend so much time and so many visits with me answering questions and educating me, and helping me to find the right bird for me. Well a parrott and 2 cockatiels later - I can tell you they are the best !! I have recentley added a yorkie to my family and had no idea what I was doing. Growing up the dogs we had were taken care of by my folks. This was my first dog of my own. I knew right away that Jeff was the man to talk to and educate me. I first met Jeff and Diana in January 2008 when I adopted my first dog (Bella), a 6 month old Pit Bull. I had so many questions (being a first time dog owner), and Jeff and Diana were there to help me every step of the way. From Bella's first food bowl to her 100th chew toy, I've shopped exclusively at Paradise Pet. They truly care about you and your pet, and will do anything to make sure that your pet is happy and healthy!

Every visit I learn something new! The staff is so knowledgeable about food, nutrition and health care they should be veterinarians. It is where I can go when I need my Primal Pet Food at any time of the day. The store that has everything from natural pet products and holistic health care items to bird toys. Paradise pet is one of the special pet places in NJ metro area. After watching Jeff's holistic video about pet foods, you know how truly passionate about animals this pet shop is!

Thank you so much for the instructional video Holistic Pet Care with Jeff Coltenback, Canine Series. This approach to the care and feeding of dogs is sensible, and practical. I just adopted a Maltese and will certainly follow your advice. Having had experience with Paradise Pets helping me with a life threatening issue regarding my Lovebird, I've developed a tremendous trust, and admiration for Jeff and Diana. The world and our pets are a better place because of these two dedicated, wonderful people.

Everyone knows Jeff because he is THE guy to go to make your pet live a happier, healthier life. His knowledge is second to none and he can treat many problems that vets cannot through good nutrition and supplimentation. He's Friendly and will work with you to find the best solution for you and your pet. What I like best about his shop is that knowing nothing you can walk in and grab anything off a shelf and know it's all natural and 100% good for you pet. All this means less trips to the vet and an animal that lives a much longer and fuller life.

Jeff and his staff are the most knowledgeable people I know when it comes to raising a healthy and happy pet. I never feel rushed when I have a concern or a question about one of my two dogs. He has always guided me in the right direction when I had a question whether about diet or behavior. Jeff is also a wonderful dog trainer. I have always felt at ease with him. The store itself is great, but my most meaningful experience came when Jeff saved my German shepherd's life. My dog was exhibiting some behavioral problems and my Vet and some others suggested I give him up at the least and maybe even put him down. After several meetings with "professionals" in this space who were of no help, a friend recommended Jeff. I knew this was my dog's last chance and I called him right away. Jeff did an analysis, recommended some modifications on my part and promised me that I would have a terrific dog in a short time. He was so right! Jeff is so knowledgeable about animals and I - and my buddy - are so thankful for it.

We met Jeff at Paradise Pet 3years ago when we were at our wits end with our rescue Moofy's allergies. Jeff has so much knowledge not only about nutrition but about all things canine. Moofy started feeling better and lived out his life happily and healthy. We now have two young dogs we got as puppies and they have been on the Abady raw diet from the day they came home. Jeff and his staff is always there to answer questions and you know how many questions we pet owners can have!!!My dogs are happy and healthy because of Paradise Pet and I recommend them to everyone I meet, regardless of what type of animal they own. Jeff really cares about your animal and if I didn't know better I would swear that he was an angel there to help us all. I have never been in a pet store before like this one. There's not much to mention about Jeff, Diana, and the staff that hasn't already been said in reviews. In terms of passion and a general desire to please their clients and customers, I think you'd be hard pressed to find any other pet store in this area (or anywhere for that matter) that cares more about what they do, sell, and the services they offer. I met Jeff several years ago after adopting a terrier/lab mix with severe stomach allergies. Dozens of vet visits and hundreds of dollars later I was back where I started, and my poor door was constantly ill. We tried several different approachs that Jeff recommended, and within a few weeks my dog was back on track, healthy, and we havnen't experienced a food allergy related issue in over 3 years. The knowledge Jeff and his staff have shared with me has been truly invaluable, and they've earned a customer for life. I take every chance I get to recommend friends and family also visit their shop, and suggest you do to!

When Paradise Pet came to our town I had my Golden Retriever LuLu, she was already an adult dog and starting to experience some health issues, at the time I was feeding her name brand dog food from a grocery store which I thought was the best only because of its name…little did I know… After an informative conversation with Jeff he gave me the knowledge that dog food is so much more, so I made the switch to one of Paradise Pets quality dog foods. LuLu’s skin improved dramatically I received so many compliments on her coat and it was all food related. When she started having trouble with her joints again I turned to Jeff and Diana we added supplements to her diet and saw immediate improvement. Shortly after I adopted an English Bulldog puppy in 2005, I found Paradise Pets. Bulldogs are notorious for their possible health issues and I wanted to start out right feeding mine the best available prepared food. If humans "are what we eat", then I figured the same must be true for dogs! I was very impressed with Jeff and Diana's knowledge on holistic pet care as well as his staff's customer service excellence. The selection of healthy pet food and supplies cannot be beat. My dog enjoys the RAW knuckle bones immensely! Jeff is clearly passionate about his business and spends as much time possible with every customer. He is also open to ordering food for your pet's special needs.
