Wed Feb 24 2010We purchased a washer and dryer and the complete order was not filled. They did not have a dryer ready for us and when they brought us the dryer it did not work so they took it back and brought a working dryer the next day. But, they did not fully install dryer, we had to purchase additional parts on our own. They do not return phone calls and do not answer all questions, horrible customer service. Try not to be hooked my cheap prices, you get exactly what you pay for.

Tue Jul 14 2009I got ripped off too. They did not honor their 180 day warranty. Frank gave me the run around. This place needs to me shutdown.

Sun Nov 30 2008When I first walked in, I should have trusted my instincts and walked right back out. The staff was very rude, but I figured that I could sacrifice service to save money. Then I got screwed and was given a different appliance (cheaper and dirty) than the one I paid for. There are other dent & ding appliance stores in the St. Louis area that will save you money. I've already been to another in St. Charles (Premium Appliance), I had to wait a while to get the appliances, but at least they aren't SCAMMERS.

Sun Aug 31 2008I would like to say that my experiance with this store has been wonderful. My fakily and i have been coming here for over 30 years and wile there has been some repair issues nothing that would make me not recomend any one I knew to shop there. I recently purchased a new scratch and dent kitchen for half of what it would have cost me to do at one of the big box stores. I saved over 1500 dollars on new stainless appliances. It took six weeks for all of my appliances to be shipped to me. but for that kind of savings it was worth the wait. I'm so happy with my purchases i intend to go back and purchase a front load washer and dryer. the staff at the store was very understanding and made every effort to keep me informed of my purchase. for the savings alone i would recomend going but the staff at the store is a plus because at least you can find someone and not half to walk a mile areound a giant store to get somone to tell you that that is not my department only to have to wait another 20 ... Sat Apr 26 2008I wish I had read this early. I purchased a washer and dryer on a Wed. It was suppose to be delivered sunday. I called friday and told them I got a washer and dryer as a house warming gift from my parents they refused to give me my money back even though the product was never delivered. I asked for his boss he told me they were owned by a corporation and refused to give me the telephone number. NEVER BUY ANY THING FROM THIS PLACE

Fri Apr 18 2008I would recommend OVerland Appliance to anyone. The manager, "Big Frank" and the salesman, Jeff were very helpful when I went in several months ago to purchase a washer and dryer set. I am very satisifed with the applainces and have no problems. Go check them out.

Wed Feb 20 2008I bought a preowned electric range from this place, which was defective (the oven doesn't heat/cook properly, so I can't use it). I have been waiting for about EIGHT WEEKS for a "backordered part" or a similar preowned range to come in as a replacement, to no avail. I demanded a full refund, and the manager blatantly refused. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Missouri Attorney General's office, and it appears I am definitely not the first to do so!

Tue Feb 19 2008Before you make a purchase-mediocre customer service. After they have your money-ABOMINABLE!!! I've had major problems with them and they are extemely rude. I have heard of several other people having the "bait and switch" problem as well. Caveat emptor!!!

Tue Jan 29 2008WORST EVER! This is a classic bait and switch operation. Definitely worth it to spend a little extra on an appliance that will actually work, a warranty that will actually be honored and even the smallest level of ACTUAL customer service. Please don't learn the hard way like my husband and I had to.

Tue Dec 11 2007I've shopped at Overland Appliance for years and never had any problems. They have some great new items with just a little bit of damage at a fraction of the price of the big name stores. I've bought several itmes over the years and had them all delivered with no problems. I've only had one service call and they were on time and fixed my washer with no problem. I would recommend to anyone.

Mon Dec 10 2007I am a longtime customer of Overland Appliance and have had nothing but great experiences. They sell great used and new scratch and dented appliances and I have never had a problem with quality. Other members of my family have also shopped at Overland for years with nothing but good experiences. I would recommend this store to anyone.

Mon Nov 26 2007If I could give them less than one star I would. They sell inferior products and have even worse service. Save yourself a huge headache and go somewhere else!!!!

Fri Jun 22 2007This past week we went to Overland Appliance to purchase a used refrigerator. We found one that we liked and bought it. They said it would be delivered 3 days later. On the day that it was to be delivered, they called and told us that they were not sending the refrigerator we bought, but a completely different one. Supposedly, the one we had bought had a leak and they conveniently only noticed after the payment had went through on my credit card. We had seen the refrigerator that they were sending and it was older and not in as good of shape. So we politely asked for a refund. They flatly (and extremely rudely) refused, they would not even give a partial refund. This company is shady and if you check the Better Business Bureau (as I should have done!), you'll see that they have had NUMEROUS complaints. And they will have one more in about 5 minutes. These people cannot be trusted, so do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Wed May 30 2007Terrible!! I purchased a refrigerator and freezer in 2/2007. Both broke twice within 2 months resulting in $300 in lost product from the freezer. The service manager, Frank, is rude, arrogant and uncooperative. The service techs are all contract and do not show up when they are scheduled. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THESE PEOPLE!!

Fri Apr 13 2007Awful! I bought a washing machine here for $125 11/1/2006. It has broken 4 times. They always come out and fix it on their 180 warranty but once the warranty is up they will no longer fix it even though it is due to their faulty workmanship. They never have same day service or hours that are condusive to the customers schedule. Furthermore they will not offer anything after this last fix for it to be fixed after the warranty is gone when it has broken down 4 times in the past 5 months. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM
