On Time Moving & Storage

I moved few time in the past with other companies but, this time was the best move ! I appreciate your moving team's effort: they were on time, quick and nice. Another thing that was the great was the $$ price. I will recommend you anytime- thanks.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with my move - I guess because of all the bad reputations about moving companies has, but I really had an excellent move. The moving company was on time, the staff was friendly, professional and quick. It was a pleasure doing business with On Time Moving.

not much to say... I had them come early morning and everything went smooth, they packed carefully and didn't charge me a dime more than the estimate I got a good deal and I recommend on time movers.

I used On time movers when I moved last week to from Chicago to the suburbs and everything went fine. Only later I read these reviews, and I simply don't understand why would someone write those things. For me, everything went well, and I recommend them anytime. The bad reviews below must have been posted by competing movers.

I used these guys many times for local moves. I have also used them for some office moves. They always move our stuff professionally and damage free They are also cheap comparing to other movers in the area

I had a horrific experience with this company. I was given a 2 hour window for a start time and they showed up 2 hours beyond that. Once they were there, they tried to con me into using packing materials for things that did not need it (I was only moving 2 blocks). When they finished loading the truck, they made me pay the full cash estimate before arriving at my new apartment. I told the head mover that I was not comfortable giving anyone cash and then letting them drive away with my possessions. He said they wouldn't unload until I paid and laughed at me for being paranoid. Once they arrived at my new apartment (at 9:15 pm) they made my sister and friend unpack all of the wardrobe boxes they had assembled. When they completed the move, the head mover bullied me into tipping them. I tipped them each over 15 dollars to get them to leave and he had the nerve to tell me I should give them $20 since they worked so hard for me. What a disgusting display of bullying. After showing up late they threw away the boxes and tape I had provided for them to use so that they could charge me for their supplies. I found them later in the garbage out back. They used blankets and bubble wrap on items that didn't need it and I had asked them not to use it on, again, so that I could be charged extra. After unpacking everything they wouldn't let me check the items before I paid or signed the invoice (I'm a petite female, I was alone during this move and they were 4 large men). The head mover would physically block me from leaving the kitchen to look at my furniture. At this point I was getting scared so I handed over the cash, signed the invoice and told them to leave. They demanded a tip and started to block me into a corner. I gave them 60$ and told them to leave immediately. They started swearing in Spanish at me that the tip wasn't enough but started to leave. I waited half a day for them to arrive. They didn't show up as scheduled and I had to call them multiple times. The actual move was fine.
