I once heard Oliver Twist described as looking like a rat pellet. That may be true, but this stuff is great! It lasts a good two hours, is very easy to conceal, doesn't require spitting, and tastes pretty damn good. Perfect if tobacco use is "forbidden." The Tropical and Original are my favorites--I find the Mint to taste bad and have too many stems.

I have managed to hide my tobacco addiction from the wife for 5 years now by dipping Skoal pouches as they are easy to pop in and out when she comes in the room. When she's around for 2 or 3 hours straight, I start getting irritated because I want a dip and start suffering from nicotine withdrawal. I started searching the internet for alternatives after hearing of Camel Snus and stumbled upon Oliver Twist, which is completely undetectable while it's in, and no spitting required. I couldn't find it at any of the tobacco stores around my house (MI). I emailed Oliver Twist from their website, and had a response in 12 hours with the two closest stores that sold it, complete with phone numbers and addresses. I bought my first tin a month ago, and have not had a Skoal pouch since. The flavors are great (I prefer Original - tastes like a straight pack of chaw), and I don't have to make excuses to stole away in the basement for half an hour to get a nicotine fix when the wife's around. Each ti... Read more

I first seen this product in a tobacco store in Clarksville, Tennessee in August 2007. I am a smokeless tobacco user so I decided to take a closer look. A couple things struck me right away. First thing is that it does not require you to spit to enjoy the product. It is spit-free. For those of you tobacco users who really pay attetion to new and other products this is not a mystery to you. US Smokeless Tobacco Company is test marketing its Skoal Dry spit-free tobacco product in Louisville, KY and Austin, TX right now. Phillips Morris is testing their product Taboka in Indianapolis, IN while RJ Reynolds has their Camel Snus closing in on the same market. The second (and coolest) thing that got my attention is that the Oliver Twist product is imported. It is a product of Denmark and it is imported by a company named RBJ Sales, Inc. in Dresden, Tennessee (Phone: 731.364.5419). That is a little town about and hour and ten minute drive from where I live. I thought that was worth mentioning.... Read more

Oliver Twist is just about the best that there is. The tobacco is little pellets about the size of Sen Sen, and you older folks know what that is. I could go back on this stuff tomorrow!  This stuff is really good!

I found these at a local tobacco shop and decided to give them a try. I got a box of the original flavor, which is lightly flavored with anise, and they are great. Very small and pretty much undetectable in use. The ultimate in convenience, and the flavor in these little pellets lasts about 1-1 1/2 hours.
