I received a gift card for my big 3-0 and absolutely loved it! I've since gone back on my own and now I'm hooked. Both times, the massage was soothing yet firm - the hour flew by so fast! Also had their mani-pedi which was also very thorough - not like the quickie jobs at a regular nail salon. You can sit and watch and entire movie while you're there. The decor is nice and cozy. The people are really friendly. It's my new escape from life!

I found this place while I was training for the marathon. I had been going to another spa but heard about Ohm so decided to give them a try. The massages at Ohm are head and shoulders above the other place. My therapist was very well trained and I could tell within the first 2 minutes that she was an expert. Went back a couple of times leading up to the race. Each time, it was fantastic. Make sure you book in advance. I haven't been able to get a same-day appointment but your luck my be different.

My family knows I'm a spa junkie so they got me a gift card for my birthday. Finally got around to using it after about six months and it was awesome! I asked for deep tissue and actually had to ask the massage therapist to ease up because she was applying too much pressure (how often does that happen?). I'm petite, so usually when I go for a massage, they go way too light because they're afraid of hurting me. I really appreciated that this place actually took my feedback into account when I booked for deep tissue. Thumbs up!

I've had multiple massages and facials here and every single time has been amazing. I feel so clean and relaxed whenever I come out. The place is sooo clean and peaceful. I think all the snacks and the refreshing drinks in the waiting room are a great touch. it really gives you that extra feel that you're getting the best of everything. The products that they use smell wonderful and feel wonderful. The staff are also so welcoming and polite and they know just how to treat a client whether for a huge package or a simple eyebrow wax. The prices are up there, but I think it's worth it just to know that you're always going to be getting one of the best spa experiences. I don't go too often (once every 3-4 months) so it makes sense that when I do, that it's the best.

Had such a wonderful, relaxing couples massage here. My boyfriend was a first-time massage receiver and he was soo pleased. Kathy and her team were marvelous, and we will definitely be back.

Went with my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. We both agreed it was the best massage we've ever had. Even though it was quite busy when we arrived, the receptionist was very friendly and accommodated us very quickly. The decor is comfortable and modern - nice but not over-the-top. It's not a very large spa - they have lockers but not a true "locker room." No showers either but I didn't find that to be a problem. My massage was very thorough. Even though the hour went by quickly, when I got up off the table and walked around, my body felt better than after any other massage I had before. Best of all, they are very good about accepting gift cards. I've been to other spas that give you a hard time when you use a gift card (restrictions, inferior service, bad attitude, etc) but at Ohm, they couldn't have been nicer. We would go back tomorrow if we could.

I received a spa package to Ohm for Christmas from my boyfriend (he got this because of all the great reviews and because I said I didn't like the seaweed body wrap at Oasis Day Spa). The changing area was a closet (literally) and the over-all space did not have a spa atmosphere (I've been to my fair share of luxury spas). My manicure/pedicure was very relaxing (standard - nothing special though).. I zoned out and watched a movie for 2 hours. My facial was mediocre; there was no upper body massage or anything else I've had at other spas Also, the girl [though a very nice person] wouldn't stop talking to me and I had a hard time relaxing. I didn't want to be rude, but to be honest who really wants to talk while they are getting a facial? And lastly, my massage was probably one of the worst I've ever gotten. I told the girl on 3 different occasions that I'd like her to focus on my back and shoulders - once in the beginning, once when I sensed she was about to flip me over (when sh... Read more

I have to admit I'd never heard of Ohm Spa so when I received a gift card for Christmas I really didn't know what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised and I would definitely recommend them wholeheartedly. When I got there I was greeted very warmly and presented with a robe and slippers. Their changing room is small but private. After filling out a form, they showed me to their lounge which was quite beautiful - I was relaxed already! Shortly thereafter a very nice lady (Jess) introduced herself and brought me into her room. Let me tell you she is amazing! I was in a semi-dream-like state the entire time and probably could have stayed on that table for another hour if they let me. It was so good I almost felt guilty for enjoying it so much. It was really hard to leave and go back into the cold but I know I'll be going back.

My boyfriend surprised me with a full day package at Ohm and I was so pampered I didn't want to leave! Even before I knew what was going on, they wished me a happy birthday which was so nice because I didn't even have to say anything. I had the deep-tissue massage which was incredible, then the facial which left my skin silky smooth and the pedicure and manicure which was the best I've ever had. It was the most amazing birthday present especially since I've been so stressed out lately with work, family, etc. Guys, if you ever want a special gift for your special someone, this is the place to go!

That was my first time having a couple massage and first time having a spa at nyc. One of my friends went to Ohm spa on her birthday for a couple massage, and they really like it. So I decided to try it out myself. When I made the reservation, the staff sounded very friendly and they asked for me and my boyfriend's shoe sizes, so they could prepare slippers for us. The atmosphere was relaxing and gave customers a calm feeling. The staff showed us the changing room, then led us to the waiting lounge. Various snacks and drinks were offered. 5 mins later, two ladies came and introduced themselves. They gave us a form to fill in, so they would have a brief idea of our massage history and which body parts we wanted to get massaged. The couple room was combined by two single rooms. So me and my boyfriend did not really get to sleep side-by-side, we were lined in a straight line (my head was pointing to his). The light was dim and comfortable. We had a hot stone massage for 60 mins. From ti... Read more

The receptionist was gracious and attentive. (I asked where I could find the wall-mounted bowls I admired in the spa, and on my way out she gave me a print-out of the website where I could order them.) My massage was wonderful, and the waiting room was comfy, with fresh fruit, infused water, and other nibbles. There was absolutely no pressure to buy products. I'll definitely return!

I've been to many spas because I love manicures, pedicures and massages. I just lover pampering myself! My boyfriend gave me a gift certificate for a Signature Mani/Pedi and OMG it was amazing!!! The staff is extremely kind and soft-spoken. The ambiance was calming and very soothing. I went on a Friday after a long week of work and was so relaxed right when I walked in. I only had the mani/pedi, which came out PERFECT but I will definitely use their services from now on. Trust me, I've been to many spas around the city and this is by far the best I've been to! I can't wait to try their massages!!

Hey all-- So, I had never heard of Ohm... but a friend had given me a gift certificate for a 90 minute custom massage. I had the gift certificate for awhile, but could never find time to get away for 90 minutes (obviously my friends know me well and that I am a stress case and a half-- lol). Anyway, my Birthday rolled around on the 10th, so I decided there wasn't a better time to use it. So I booked the massage with Adam. Hands down, the best massage I have ever recieved. It was the exact right mixture of relaxing swedish-type massage, with just the right amount of deeper tissue work and joint mobilization. Often you either feel like someone just put sunscreen on your back for an hour, or the deep tissue work was so intense you can't move for two days. This was truly just perfect. Adam, if you read this, you have (another) loyal customer. Truly a great massage. I am always wary of walking into a new spa... you either get the over-the-top holistic approach, the now-serving-nu... Read more

This is probably no secret and they certainly don?t need the publicity but I just wanted to share how wonderful my experience was at Ohm. I know there are a thousand places in the city to get a massage and in fact many of them might be cheaper than Ohm but if there were ever a perfect example of ?you get what you pay for,? this place would be it. I went there after a horrendous 10-hour flight (in coach) and my back was hurting so much I couldn?t even carry my handbag. So I booked a massage and simply could not believe how restored and transformed I felt afterwards. The decor is elegant but not over-the-top, the people there are all uber-nice and best of all, the massages are really excellent. I can?t wait to go back!

One of my dearest friends is getting married. All of the bridesmaids live in different cities. We decided to do our bachelorette weekend here in NYC, so alot of the planning fell on me. I can't tell you how stressed I was trying to find a quality spa for a reasonable price!! A friend recommended Ohm and with just less than two weeks away I figured why not give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised!! When I called the receptionist was so accomodating and she never rushed me. She explained all my options. She also told me she could split up the bride's services between us bridesmaids and include the gratuity which immediately put me at ease. (The last thing I wanted to do was stand there infront of the bride while we figured out the total) We went on August 30th. Upon our arrival the receptionist knew our names and even said Congratulations to the bride and treated her with such care. We changed into the MOST COMFORTABLE robes and slippers I have ever worn. We waited in this adorable room... Read more

I had a gift certificate for a 60 min massage and a manipedi, gratuity included, so I really didn't have to worry about that side of things. Service: Amazing. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. I loved that my masseuse was careful around my weak spots, and really focused on what I wanted. All the staff in the manicure room were on "service" mode. (For example, since the movie I was watching hadn't ended when I went to the dryer, the staff members were thoughtful enough to direct me to a seat where I could finish watching the movie.) The decor: I was enchanted with it. I loved the little room where you get to sit and read magazines in a spa bathrobe, nibbling on fruit and dark chocolate and little cookies, and sipping herbed water and lemonade. Exquisite. Massage: Even if I had been paying the admittedly steep price myself, it would have been more than worth it. It was softer than I expected. but it left me much more relaxed than the deep massages I'm used to. And that rel... Read more

My husband got me an Ohm Spa gift card for my birthday. He included all the gratuities so I didn't have to worry about a thing! I entered, the receptionist was nice and sent me to the changing room. I don't know what other people are talking about, but the room was a nice size, and unlike other spas you change ALONE. Complete privacy! You are given a wrap that buttons and a robe to put over it. Not to mention a locker to lock up all your stuff. I was then sent to the waiting/relaxation area. It is SO gorgeous inside, candles everywhere, beautiful lighting, modern clean furniture. There was tea, fruit water, chocolate, fruit, oreos etc. There was a wide array of magazines. There is this beautiful serene music playing throughout the whole place. Britta greeted me to start on my facial. She removed my makeup, and analyzed my skin under a special light. she had me lie down and adjusted the bed to make me feel comfortable. I was given a day at Ohm Spa for my birthday this year. I wasn't sure what to expect as I've had negative spa experiences at other places in the city, but I was pleasantly surprised and ended up having an incredible birthday experience. I arrived and was immediately greeted by a very friendly receptionist who knew my name as I walked in. The ambiance was very peaceful- candles, relaxing colors, and betta fish in in bowls attached to the walls. She showed me into the changing room which was very clean and quiet. I changed into a nice robe and slippers and was then ushered into the waiting area. There were trays of healthy snacks and a cooler of fruit infused water, a very nice touch. I had my massage first, I recommend Adam, he was incredible. It was such a relaxing hour, and to date the best massage I've ever had. I went to Ohm Spa today for a treat for myself for my birthday and walked away very happy and relaxed. As a person who is also in the spa industry its great to find spots that really work. I dont often write reviews but i have to say I always think it great to give kudos who do a great job. I had a really wonderful massage with Adam and I highly recommend his work. The place was clean and calm and not to over the top and that was highly appreciated.. While the place is not very big it is inviting.. would love them to put in showers but other than that I will return without a doubt! Thanks guys for very relaxing birthday!

This is my second visit to Ohm Spa. I was going for a massage and on the recommendation of my sister, I requested Adam- she said his massages were heavenly. She was spot on. I have never had a male massage therapist before (btw the word "masseuse" is female-specific. It is massage therapist or "masseur". :-)) Adam was friendly, down to earth, professional and more importantly- good at his job! He used all these different techniques which proves he continues to further his education. He custom created the perfect massage for me and targeted every area that bothered me. My best massage ever!!! Most massages I have had just "feel good"- this massage was truly therapeutic and heavenly. If I were rich I would go every day. BTW the male owner was super nice as well and very accommodating. The place is also super clean! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I decided to make an appt after reading all the wonderful reviews. I am glad I did. For the last 3 years I have had massages weekly from a wonderful woman who was trained in deep tissue, therapeutic & muscle activation disciplines. She handles massage for many pro football, soccer, tennis athletes. She is very talented & has extensive experience handling back issues (of which I have many). I have VERY high standards when it comes to massage & I know what type of massage I need. I was worried I wouldn't easily find any comparable massage in NYC when I came for 8 months for work. I scheduled a 90 minute deep tissue massage & 30 minute mini-facial. The staff are friendly, not too chatty (thankfully), well trained/experienced & professional. My facial was relaxing & enjoyable. I had a few minutes to relax in between facial & massage which was nice. They have a nice range of nibbles to snack on; from cookies, crackers, chocolate, to fruits. I've been to Ohm numerous times alone, with friends, and with my boyfriend, and we've ALWAYS had a great experience. I even had a spa day planned for my best friend's pre-bachlorette party here, and Kathy made the time spent very enjoyable. She set up a table for us, brought out our champagne, exotic cake, utensils, supplied champagne flutes and a knife for us. The massage technicians remember us, there's always a good movie to watch during the mani/pedi services, and the treats in the lounge area are awesome!

I've known about Ohm for a long time but never had the chance to go until last week - and it was an excellent experience! They have a very nice balance of being luxurious without being stuffy, friendly without being fake and upscale without being expensive. As a doctor, I appreciated their clinical approach to massage. My attendant was very fluid with her technique and seemed very connected with me throughout the session. I've been to lesser places that simply pound on you with no apparent rhyme or reason but Ohm has a very refined, professional process. I felt significantly better when I left and already plan on going back next month.

I have been getting waxed for the last 4 years and the wax i got from OHM located at 260 5th ave NY was the best by far. Whatever they use as products and their technique used by Ada my skin looked perfect. Virtually no pain compared to all the other waxes i have got and the best result. If you ever need any waxing done you should try this place because its the best in the world i have found. Thanks again OHM. Dean from Australia.

If only I knew about Ohm when I first started going to spas! My friends all know that I love getting pampered so they always get me gift cards for my birthday and for Christmas, so I?ve been to lots of them around the city ? some good, some ok, some just plain awful. This year I got a gift card to Ohm and that?s it, I?m done! From now on, this is the place I?ll be asking for each year. Everyone who works there is so nice, so down-to-earth and so cheerful. I really felt as though I was among long lost friends. It?s not the biggest spa and it doesn?t have all the amenities like a sauna, steam room or jacuzzi but that?s a small price to pay for the best damn massage this side of Thailand. It?s the spa equivalent of one of those small, out-of-the-way restaurants that people fight to get in to because the food is so good. For me, it?s the first spa that I would actually go to with my own money instead of waiting to get a gift card. And as all my friends know, that?s saying a lot.

My mom and I visited Ohm and spent the afternoon getting massages, manicures and pedicures. We had a wonderful time and left feeling like we couldn't wait to go back. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and they gave us just the right amount of personal attention. Not so much that we felt crowded, but not so little that we felt ignored. I came out of my massage feeling looser than I had been in years and my mom said it was the best massage she ever had. My nail service was very thorough and left my skin feeling baby-soft. My mom said her manicure lasted over 2 weeks! Overall, this place scored big points with us. The service is first-rate, the prices are reasonable and the people are very nice. The only downside is that they don't have showers and the wait to get an appointment can be long. I reserved almost 2-months in advance, which seemed outrageous at the time but after going there, I can understand why.

For starters -parking was rather difficult. I received a spa package for my birthday which included a couples massage, a spa manicure and pedicure. Honestly, the massage was okay though it seemed rather rushed. The spa pedicure was horrible! I thought (for the amount he paid) that they would do a lot more than rub some nasty cream on you. Other than that, the pedicure was like ANY noprmal pedicure you have received anywhere else. The place was crowded (NO PRIVACY AT ALL), loud and obnoxious! As for the manicure...they did not do acrylic or any type of silk wrapping on your nails. The job was sloppy and two people did my manicure. One lady argued to the other manicurest to finish my manicure which I found to be rather rude. I kept my mouth shut, said thank you and walked right out that door. I will never go there again, nor do I recommend it to anyone!

From the moment I walked into Ohm, I felt very pampered...from the warm, friendly greeting to the right-sized robe and slippers (they had asked me for my shoe size in advance), to the relaxing lounge area...and then came the best massage I've ever had! I usually go for either European or warm stone massages, but this time decided to go for Ohm's custom massage at the recommendation of the receptionist I spoke with when I first called - and boy, was it custom!! My wonderful masseuse, Nicole, took a few minutes at the beginning of the session to find out what I was looking for (medium to firm pressure focusing on my neck and shoulders) and then proceeded to work her magic...soothing aromatherapy, deep tissue for the really bad spots, hot towels and finally peppermint oil. I was tingling for hours afterwards!! To top it all off, she even gave me some tips to avoid stiffness and soreness on an ongoing basis (epsom salt baths, increased water intake, heat pads on my shoulders for 10 to 15 m... Read more

a self proclaimed spa-aholic, i've been to my share of spas but Ohm spa is hands down the best spa ever. Kathy, the owner, is always very friendly and warm and makes you feel very comfortable from the moment you walk in. I sit in an office chair for 15 hrs a day so I get very knotted in my shoulders but the massages I recieve there are amazing and always feel light on my feet afterwards. I have yet to get a facial but I always hear great things. It's always a stand by place for gift certs for all those bridal showers and bday gifts and all my friends rave about the service. I highly recommend this place!

I've had a hard time finding a good spa in NY since moving here from LA 6 months ago, but I'm done looking after going to Ohm. So far I've had 2 massages, a manicure and a pedicure and all were top notch. I even brought my boyfriend who is a massage fanatic and now he's hooked too. Best of all, they're not as expensive as some other spas for the quality of service you get. Next time I'll try their facials but the wait is seriously long so call in advance. The only downside is they don't have showers or a large changing area but I don't mind showering at home anyway. Overall, a great find.

Once again, Ohm Spa does not disappoint. I have not been to the Spa in almost a year; however, they remembered me with my just walking into the door yesterday on 01/17/08. Everyone at the facility is so genuinely warm. Paula greeted me with a hug and was extremely pleasant as the first time. I had a manuka honey facial again and absolutely loved it. Paula uses a mixture of soothing tone of voice, quiet music, aromatherapy, and amazing hands to completely relax you. Even the extractions are not bad because you are soooo relaxed. Although the price may seem high when you look at it, the amount of service you receive is well worth that price. I had a facial from one other place, and I can honestly say that there is truly no comparison. Give this play a try. Trust me. You'll be hooked.

I decided to book my 60 minute at Ohm Spa due to the many great reviews on Citysearch. I have to say that I was disappointed. I asked for medium pressure. This did not happen, but more what seemed like light rubbing. Before the massage, I noted that my neck and back are the places where I tend to hold the most stress and tension. For some reason, my massage therapist spent a great deal of time on my feet. She was not massaging them, but just gently cupping them for long periods of time. It was very strange. I was also distracted during my massage as the walls were very thin between rooms and I could hear other people walking and talking. I think a white noise machine would have helped. The small changing area and single bathroom was not that relaxing along with the cramped waiting room. I will not go back or refer any of my friends.

If are you looking for a luxurious day spa - look elsewhere. If you are a looking for a last minute spa booking and to watch dvd's while getting a pedicure -- this is the place! Last time I visited the spa I went for a 90 min deep tissue (actually received 60 mins all over body and 30 min foot reflexology which I didn't ask for or desire. my guess was her petite hands were too tired to finish the job) and also a 60 min signature facial (the esthetician actually rolled her eyes at me when I said I didn't really know what I wanted done). The treatments actually left me feeling tense and in need of ...um... a MASSAGE! I have been to a dozen spas in NYC; Skip this place unless you are desperate.

Having read the mostly wonderful reviews (yet wondered why all the bad reviews were at the very end of the page) on Ohm Spa, I went there with my husband as "something different" and perhaps a step above from what we had experienced. We're big spagoers and have had tons of services and every type of massage imagineable in many states and countries. I thought the facial was very bad. They had me fill out a survey, asking specific questions about pressure. I said I liked firm pressure. The therapist seemed like she was caressing my face. It was extremely annoying. I told her that I'd like "firm" pressure, still no change. seemed unmotivate - no massage of neck, face, shoulders. Just cleansed, exfoliated and put a mask on. I was unhappy - it was actually the worst facial I'd ever had. After reading what a couple of other stated on the "tipping" policy, I can say both my husband and I were really taken back by how in your face the person at the desk got about the tip. The sign ... After reading the reviews, I had fairly high expectations for this place. Frankly, I just do NOT understand the hype/positive reviews... I mean, have we [new yorkers] become accustomed to sub-par and pathetically cramped spa settings? In full disclosure, I'm the type of spa consumer who hopes for great services, but longs for a lovely/comfortable spa setting. Sadly, entering Ohm spa is like entering someone's cramped nyc apartment. Sure the place was clean, but it was cramped, poorly decorated (bright, cheap furniture), and hardly serene. The entire time I wondered if I was in the right spa because the reviews have been so tremendously positive. In terms of the actual services (we got massages), they were hardly remarkable. My particular masseuse wasn't particularly well-trained (would massage parts of my left side and neglect/forget the right side) and she spent a disproportionate amount of time on my feet (which seemed odd and it did not fit my needs). The only upside: the people... Read more

Holy cow - what a great massage! Ohm is the real deal. I went in looking for relief from a sore neck and shoulders and my therapist (they speak English!) knew exactly what to do. It's been a few days now and I still feel better. Other massages I've had elsewhere just seem to evaporate a few minutes after I leave. Their waiting room is probably the most relaxing spot in the entire city. Getting an appointment can be tough, but well worth the effort. While not 'cheap' you do get a lot for your money. I'd rather spend a little more and go to Ohm than waste it on place that treats you like a slab of meat.

When I first arrived at the spa, I was greeted very warmly by the receptionist who took my jacket and escorted me to the changing room with my own robe and slippers and key for a locker for my belongings. I was then brought into a waiting room, which was very nicely decorated. The whole spa had interesting touches around it from the hanging fish bowls to the lighting, etc. My first service was a full body massage, which was done rather well. Nothing specific to report - just an overall good massage. I then got changed and was escorted into the manicure / pedicure room. My manicurist/pedicurist was very accommodating and friendly, but my senses became overwhelmed by the brightly lit 3-screen television mani / pedi room coming from my soothing dimly lit massage and waiting room. It was rather shocking to my system, not to mention that the TV had on a stupid movie with loud sound effects and crying babies. Now, mind you, I love babies - even have a two-year old of my own. But thi... Read more

This was the best facial I've ever had in the most relaxing and inviting spa I have ever been to. From the fruit infused water to the calming music and welcoming staff, Ohm Spa is a pleasure from beginning to end. A retreat from the congestion of NYC. The best part is that it doesn't have that factory feeling that most of the bigger chain spas have. It was my first time there and it most certainly won't be my last.

Went to Ohm for a facial and it was an truly wonderful experience. The facial was super relaxing and left my skin feeling awesome. I won't hesitate to go back for a facial and can't wait to try thier other services.

My mom was coming to visit so we decided to book a mini spa day. We had the mani/pedi and facial package. I can not say enough about the staff's attention to detail. The mani/pedi was great (best massage chairs I've ever sat in) and the facial was amazing. I have never had a facial before because I was too worried about how my acne-prone, combination, and sensitive skin would react. I am no longer worried! The facial was amazing and my skin looks 10 times better after just 1 facial. There was no sales pressure at all and the entire experience was very relaxing. I will definitely go back.

I was very disappointed with the facial I received at Ohm. It was supposed to be a ?deep pore cleansing? for acne prone skin but Britta, the ?aesthetician,? did not squeeze out a single pimple. The session was about 50 minutes long and she spent most of the time ?cleansing? my face with cleanser, massaging it lightly, and applying a honey mask. About 2 minutes were spent looking at my face under the light and ?cleaning? it. I walked away with the same pus filled blemishes I came with, and squeezed them out myself when I came home. My whole reason for seeing a ?professional? was to avoid the trauma and long healing time I cause when I pop my blemishes myself. But this girl was either afraid of pimples, disgusted by them, or blind. I really regret going to Ohm because it was such a waste of time and money. Not just the cost of the session but the hours of work I missed because of it. The pros at Ohm is that it is decorated nicely and comfortably and there is no sales pressure. But I cam... Read more

I can only speak for myself but I've been going to Ohm every month or 2 for about a year and its the only place I've ever found where I feel completely comfortable in their care. I've had everything from massages to facials to manicures and pedicures and every appointment I've had has been excellent. I've found the staff to be skilled, professional and organized. The space is modern, clean and well-decorated. And their prices are very reasonable for the level of service you get. I've gone to other spas (some that charge much more) and I'm convinced that dollar-for-dollar, Ohm is the best in the city. No gimmicks, no sales pressure - just great services by top people in a nice setting. I've noticed they have gotten considerably busier since I started going. The key is to go on a weekday if you can.

(How did this end up at the bottom of the reviews? I wrote it last night 8/14/07. Something is fishy about your organization) I took my mother to Ohm last night for her birthday and was unimpressed with my service. When I first called to make the appointment I actually ended up speaking with the owner who assured me that each masseuse was hand picked by her and the treatment would not only relax us, but also leave our muscles worked and released. THIS WAS NOT MY EXPERIENCE. First off, let me preface by saying my mother's masseuse was good, attentive and thorough. Also the rest of the spa staff was very nice and helpful. My masseuse however, was not. I got on the table and as she began HER CELL PHONE WENT OFF, vibrating for about 2 minutes in my ear. Then when I asked her to adjust the pressure she said that she was just warming up my muscles and would use her elbows in order to really dig deep into my muscles, but effective pressure hardly ever happened. She spent most of ... Read more

This is really the grossest display of attempting to respond to a bad review that I have ever seen. Gratuity is the customer's choice and the establishment has no right to question their judgment. I could have said much worse comments and I find the fact that you chose to respond by disclosing my amount of tip is extremely tacky. I may have been persuaded to leave a greater amount of gratuity had I not been treated with such disrespect as I was leaving. I have been to many of the best spas in the city (which I would not count yours among) and I have never been treated like this. "As such, the 10% gratuity that you left, while greatly appreciated, fell below the industry standard of 15-20% and could be construed as an indication you weren?t satisfied with your experience. If that were the case, we?d be very interested in receiving feedback on how it could have been better. Occasionally, first-timers will go to a spa without knowing customary practices and we are always happy to guid... Read more

This spa is a true treasure!! While it was my first visit to Ohm, the owners and the staff treated my friend and I like we were VIP's. From my initial phone call with Kathy (who is a co-owner) to set up our personalized spa day to the mani/pedi "team" that was arranged for us to my fantastic masseuse Nickie G, our visit could not have been any better or any more special. The spa services themselves (facials, massage, nails, etc.) are first rate. The staff is professional & personal but does not pressure or hustle additional products or services; the environment is tasetful and low key ( you start to relax as you walk through the door). An amazing experience and value!!
