I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PRODUCT! I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER. MY HAIR WAS ALL ONE(ON MY SHOULDERS) LENGTH, AND NOW ITS BROKEN OFF UP TO MY EARS ON THE SIDES. OMG! I CAN NOT COMB IT BECAUSE IT KEEPS BREAKING OFF. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO NOW? I CAN STILL FEEL THE PRODUCT IN MY HAIR. I'VE CONDITIONED AND HOT OILED, AND EVEN LET THE CONDITIONER STAY OVERNITE. STILL MY HAIR IS A "MESS"! HOW DO I GET THIS STUFF OUT OF MY HAIR??????????? KIM

Oh my well to begin, I had THE WORST experience with this product. I would NOT suggest it to anyone. I have wavy hair, about to my chin, I've been trying to grow it out. I was trying something new, maybe save myself some time from having to blow dry and flat iron my hair in sections cuz its so thick. Well I was a little bit skeptical at first, read the entire box and directions like 3 times. I color my hair, but have never done anything like this before. I did it exactly as the directions said. It said 5 mins leave it on. Well long story short I've been tempeted to shave my head! I've never seend anything like it, my hair is horrible, frizzy, breaking, I can't even get a brush through it which I have never had a problem doing, not to mention I'm afraid to brush it cuz every time I do chuncks of hair come out with it. My hair will not dry, I could go a full day with my hair air drying and it won't dry, I will not use anything to damage it more like a blow dryer. It feels like cotton can... Read more

My Review of ogilvie straightener I have naturally curly hair. Long & thick. Really the only one in my family (from my birth family -including siblings- and my mother's side of the family who has curly hair). Unlucky me who had the weird genes and got curly hair. HA HA I've had my hair straightened before by a professional at a salon, but the stuff never stayed. That was back in 1998 or so. I saw results when my hair was wet, but once it dries it's just less curlier. Curls are still there, just a teeny bit less. So it's like 11 years later and I'm going to try this straightening at home kit by Ogilvie. 2009 August 21 Now be aware, you will be in the shower like 3 times washing out your hair. 1. For your regular shower. 2. To rinse out the straightening chemical. 3. Rinse out the neutralizer. I know the results aren't going to be perfect considering how my hair has reacted before and I know how my hair reacts. My hair is long, thick and curly. So I know whats to be expected. Let'...
