this show has given me side aches. Even watching the same episodes over and over, and still burst out laughing.

I love this show! Steve Carrell is hilarious, and Pam and Jim are super cute together! I did think it was a bit slow and felt that it dragged a bit when I first started watching it, but because of all the funny things I kept hearing about it, I continued watching it and now I'm completely hooked!

Maybe because I work in an office and never had to work for a "Michael" that I appreciate this show.

Pretty good stuff. Although I don't work in an office environment I can appreciate the humor of Steve Carell. Good cast too.

Truly Special Show. So freakin' funny! Every member of the cast delivers hilarity. One of the best shows on TV right now.

I am being charitable here since I am in a good mood. Office comedies generally give me a lower back pain.

It has some hilarious moments, I'll admit, but I just can't watch that much of it. It just gets kind of annoying after a while.

I think this show is too funny. I lovethe natural comedy where it doesn't seem like they are trying to be funny.

I enjoy the Office, it reminds me of my former life as a cubicle dweller. I don't know if this show would be as appealing to people unfamiliar with an office setting. Some of the jokes are memorable, but I find the focus on romance a bit boring at times. I'd have to say one of the better comedies out there now.

I loved this show and got into it after seeing 40 year old virgin and realized steve carell was staring in it. I liked all the characters and it was also a very different comedy than I'm used to seeing. Most people are either going to love it or hate it so give it a try.

One of the best comedy shows on television right now.  The first few seasons of this American remake are the best.  After that, Steve Carell's character gets consistently more and more ridiculous.  It's a toss up whether this show is better than the original UK series with Ricky Gervais.

we watch every week. will be glad when new shows come on. funny good actors and characters. I think when I see the characters on Office I can think of people I used to work with who were like those people. this is one of those shows I can relate to. they hired actors who look like people you would see in an office. a 4.5.well written too.

This show makes me laugh at least once each time I watch it. Thats pretty good for network tv. Cell phone in the ceiling + stapler in jello = funny.

My favorite show on tv right now. It is well written, they weave comedy and great story lines so well. The characters have depth to them something most sitcoms lack. The show has an amazing cast. This show is clearly not the UK version but thats ok. It is its own thing. Anyone who thought they were going to try to pull off the same kind of show in the us as they did in the UK was dreaming. They are both great shows and both very different shows.

Oh dear. Like Hollywood does with foreign films, take a great idea, then translate it for the US market but totally strip it of all subtlety and understatement and you end up with The Office US style. Comedy for people who need signposting for when the jokes come. Gurning is not what David Brent was about

I have seen both versions of the office. And I was quite surprised to find the original one from my own country which everybody seems to worship quite lacking in comedy by comparison to the American one which I saw later.... Most surprising....

This is currently the best SITCOM on TV. Of NBC's vaunted Thursday Night legacy, this is their best offering since Seinfeld. Just one cameo of Dwight Schrute resulted in more laughs for me than every episode of Gay Friends and Will&Gay; combined. Since I work in an office setting, I can empathize with much of the dynamics in the show (In fact our admin assistant is a dead ringer for Pam). There really are bosses as inept as Michael Scott. Far better than the British version.

The Office is the best network sitcom currently airing. Steve Carell is a great lead, and the supporting cast is great as well.

The sad departure of Arrested Development means a number of things. One of those is that the "Funniest show on television" spot has been opened up. And it has quickly been taken by The Office. Just the other night it won the Emmy award for Best Comedy in its first full season. The lead actor, Steve Carrel (who is known by everyone alive), won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Comedy for the same season. This show is absolutely brilliant. People try to say it doesn't compare to the UK version so it deserves 1 star, but I really prefer this to the British one. They're really just different kinds of humor and this type relies alot on the amazing job Steve Carrel does in every epsiode. In addition to being hilarious, the show has also recently shown a more dramatic side, going so far as to remove all mentions of comedy out of its recent promos for season 3 and instead focusing on the drama between Jim and Pam. Even if this season's Jim/Pam solution is not a masterpiece in... Read more

This show is really growing on me. It really does a pretty good job of capturing the awkward, superficial relationships that arise in a cubicle world setting, and Carell is perfect as the clueless / likable boss. I haven't caught the British version yet, but I'm looking forward to checking it out.

I don't think this show if funny at all. It is only getting the ratings it is because it's after Earl. I can't figure out why this is still on the air.

Steve Carrell is a comedic genius! His demeanor, his facial expressions, make his a bona fide star! All characters bring something special to the table.

Steve Carell was funny on the Daily Show, funny in Bruce Almighty and is funny in The Office. There was alot of hype surrounding this show and i think it performed great. The episode about Diversity was Hillarious.
