Wed Sep 09 2009I think one of the big problems with this whole discussion is that there is no "Obamacare." Anyone reading the news knows that, in an effort to avoid the the mistakes of Hillarycare, Obama decided to let Congress craft healthcare reform, and to date, has offered very little specific guidance about what it would take for him to sign off. As of now, there is no such thing as Obamacare.

Wed Sep 09 2009I guess the question that I have about the whole thing is "will I get what I pay for?"

Wed Sep 09 2009The debate on this issue is filled with hyperbole, misstatements of fact and mischaracterizations on BOTH sides of the issue. Rational discussion is being drowned out by screams of death councils and socialism. It's time to sit back, take a deep breath and see what this bill is really all about. I encourage everyone to do their own independent research on this issue (don't bother with the political talking points and talking heads--they have their own agenda!) People under this bill will be forced to choose which for profit h... Read more

Wed Jul 29 2009Obama Health Care proposals are a disaster in the making for American consumers/taxpayers both in terms of quality and cost. Government has no incentive to have good quality of healthcare. Who wants to be put on a Government waiting list for cancer treatments and have some bureaucrat in Washington decide whether you are worthy of a pacemaker, liver transplant or an appendectomy? What's to prevent Government from favoring Obama supporters over his opponents in terms of getting treatment? The IRS will look compassionate next to Obama Care. Research and Development has no incentive to grow with a take it or leave it system in place. Employers are already looking for a way to dump insurance of their employees right on to you The taxpayer. Nothing is ever so expensive especially in hidden costs as when Washington politicians get their claws into the picture. Turning 16 percent of the economy over to Washington bureaucrats ought to frighten anyone that is concerned about future ... Read more
