I can tolerate misspelled words and typos, and I'm guilty of those myself far more often than I'd like to admit. Well established slang can often add to reviews, especially those that are intended to be humorous. But certain intentional misspellings such as "'Nuff said," various forms of chatspeak and other made up gibberish are just annoying.

I have enough of "nuff said".  Is nuff a real word, anyway?

Let's see now. You make some inane or asinine comment, and then you attempt to cut off debate with an idiotic comment. 'Nuff said!

The ironic thing is that when I read this phrase I often find myself thinking the reviewer said more than they should have.

    Nuff said? Yeah, you wish.

Crap! I just used this word (check the review about beer smells). Never again.

I plead guilty of such overuse. In my defense, there are times when the merits of the particular case - or lack thereof - speak for themselves and no further explanation is called for. Still, mea culpa.

Its use is based on the erroneous assumption that everyone will agree with the opinion given. Probably one of the least helpful comments one could ever make and deserving of a click of that aptly named unhelpful button.

Given the command of language demonstrated by most of the imbeciles who use this phrase regularly, I'm grateful they don't say any more.

Code for I've run out of rational arguments, so I'm taking my toys and going home now.

Usually people who say this really have done just the opposite - haven't said e'nuff. They can't actually believe they've enlightened anyone with a comment like Al Gore is an idiot. He thinks he invented the Internet. Nuff said! Well, no, I think you need to back that up with a few more examples if you're going to convince people that he's actually a true idiot or that he even meant he actually invented the Internet. Nuff said could sometimes translate to I'm too ticked off to think straight; I can't think of anything else to say; I'm too lazy to look it up; or just take my word for it. Might be 'nuff for you but it's rarely 'nuff to prove your point.

Believe it or not, I very rarely see this used. Honestly, though, a period is usually a much better indicator of someone being finished with a statement then a pre-adolescent phrase.

I'm only going to give it a 4 because, other than this list, I haven't seen it used yet. I have to rank it high because it is the most annoying phrase ever used, especially since it is most often used by idiots.

Not heard that often, but the use of this phrase is meant to end debate in a way that establishes the comment as absolute truth. I find the use of this phrase as rather pretentious.

I'd prefer it if these people said nuffin' in the first place.

(4=used all too often). Well, look on the bright side; on other sites, this is pretty much every other phrase used.

Say this and demonstrate your ineptitude as an English language speaker.

I like when people are discussing things like the best commanders of all time and in WW2. They'll comment of someone like Patton and say, 'Ole' Blood and Guts, Nuff' said'. I really hate that, if you give a man like Patton 5 stars, you're going to have to explain yourself. Well, whatever, if I could only give negative stars to Patton I would. He was like a Kool-Aid drinker, but his daughter, now she was hot. But he was nothing but a liberal idiot. D'OH! I think I spelt a lot of things wrong, RateItAll needs a spell checker, but, I don't know anything about it to help set one up. Anyway, Patton is over rated, Nuff' said. (I don't know if Patton was a liberal or even had a daughter, I just really wanted to use every overused statement). By the way, has anyway seen that 'Military Leaders' list? Its actually pathetic how many great commanders are left off and how many Americans dominate the list.

Why, just 'cuz U sed it? This is another brilliant example of the moronicism (I made that word up but it sounds good) that plagues us all.
