I remember the day, 'Use Your Illusion' came out. I bought the second one, and my friend bought the first time. When the video came out, it was awesome.....but today, it's a drawn-out over-dramatic 'broadway' performance. The song is solid, the video is drawn out. There were much better videos including 'Don't Cry' from Guns n Roses.

I can't say I particularly enjoyed this video considering the hype it has received, but the song is excellent, a real epic (by GNR's standards, anyway...). It is certainly worth viewing, if only to say you have done so.

Such an awesome video. My favourite part is when she throws the bouquet of roses, they turn red, and land on the coffin. And as the "November Rain" falls, the colour is washed from them. It inspired me to do a kickass painting. So much symbolism in that movie that it's crazy.

What a feast for the eyes! Visually spectacular, musically awe-inspiring and heart-wrenchingly poignant in all it's operatic grandeur, in terms of the apex of music videos, this is it. Poodle perms, deserted churches, super models, grand pianos and that sun-kissed Les Paul...nothing encapsulates old school rock quite like Guns N' Roses. This is no music video, this is an eight minute epic.

Like all GNR songs it sounds good until that A$$ wipe Axel attempts to sing and then the whole thing goes south.

Quite possibly the greatest song Guns n' Roses ever produced, and a Music Video that set the standard for top quality, and price, for a video.

I loved this song, have always been an GNR fan. Slash and Axle are just awesome! Too bad they didn't use their amazing talents for Jesus. They would have rocked the church down!

Great video, I think only Thriller is better. This was #1 several times on those Top 100 or Top 500 videos of all time countdowns that MTV used to do. Also an awesome song, if you don't like this song you have no taste in music. I know a couple of older people who like almost nothing outside of Classical music, but yet they like this song.

A masterpiece! the scene where Slash exits the chapel and plays his solo is in my opinion one of the most memorable in the history of rock music

The songs is pretty good and the video is okay but this was the beginning of the end for GNR themselves. Axl was wanting to go one way and the rest of the band wanted to go another. The concept for this video was solely Axl's.

Oned of my all-time favorite videos. If you like the video, i'm sure you'll be able to understand it better if you read the story it was based in ('Without you' by Del James) i really recomend this story, if you don't want to buy it you can find it in the internet. It's a very strong and sad story, but it's very good and it has a very good message.

Stupid, stupid, stupid. A pretentious attempt at being artists. This band couldn't play. Axl Rose is an untalented yodeler. Just because you put an orchestra behind you and try to have a slick looking video won't cover up the fact that this band had nothing spiritual or timeless to offer besides a bunch of drunk smoking band members posturing in everything they ever did. The girl in the video is probably regretting she ever touched that slimy greaseball to this day. Slash sux!

GNR is the BEST!!! This song is a masterpiece and so is the video!! This video is not only entertaining because its surface quality but because of its underlying message. Read Without You by Del James to further appreciate the video!! SLASH ROCKS!!!

Rock and Roll is dead, but I am so glad Guns N' Roses ended it with this all time great video. This song was an instant classic. This band is the best of the last. Hell, this band is the best of the best! Only Led Zepplin could compare but they are a little outdated. Too bad Guns didn't make more music together.

This was a very moving and powerfuul video, and it was very well made. Its a beautiful song and the band plays excellent. It reminds me why I like Guns N' Roses so much...it still gets me kinda emotional when I see it.

trussed up nonsense, a completely artless video that tries to pull off sentiment, but ends up lame. also slash is a total fool for that pose he strikes in front of the church in the desert. all that hair, it just makes me laugh

Please do not make me ever listen or view this video again. Not only is it way too long, but it is very boring. There is no way in hell that the female that played his significant other in this video would ever have anything to do with him had he never been successful.....

If only every video could be as well done & powerful as this one....I still get misty eyed watching it. I often wondered if Axl would dabble in acting after seeing this video. A true masterpiece.
